Day Two Thousand and Fifty Nine

Miss Pancake 

​My goodness I had a very very busy day.

We did not go on our after breakfast walk today.

Because we went and found Niamh and took her to Mister Aidan’s house.

So she could feed those silly cats.

And when she was inside, Zita and I went for a lovely adventure walk all around Mister Aidan’s streets. 

Then we brought Niamh back to my house, so she could get all ready for a party.

At Mister Jamie’s cottage. 

Because it is going to be a brand new year tomorrow.

I do not think that is right.

Because tomorrow it will be just like today. With all the snow. 

They should just wait until all our very beautiful flowers all come here. 

That is a new time for me. Ha.

Emmet is going to a dinner party with their first university friends. For that new year. 

We are not having a brand new year in my house. 

Because it is really Hogmanay. The badgers told me. 

But Craig and Zita and I did not have their Hogmanay food.

Because we had those very delicious foods from far far away China instead. Ha.

Even tasty rolled ups. 

When Zita took Emmet to his party, and when she came home the fast car was full up with that delicious food. 

I got the very crunchy ends of those rolled ups. 

Then it was time for our new detective program.

Day Two Thousand and Fifty Eight

Miss Pancake 

​I had a very nice quiet day today.

Zita and I did not even go to our farm, because it was way too cold for us.

So we went to our own pond park, but the snow was all coved in too much slippy ice.

So we only stayed a little bit of time.

When we got home we got in the fast car and got Tarryn.

Because she is moving all of her everything’s to that new apartment.

So Mister Clifford and the fast car went to help her. 

Because Mister Clifford is very very big inside.

My friend Emmet was very busy writing that story for the very old in England university.

Everybody likes those stories, especially all the ones about cutting off heads. My goodness.

Last night Craig made the car that Tyler gave him.

It is very fast, but not so very big. 

When Craig was all dressed we had Professor Jill’s doughnuts. And we ate all of them. Ha.

Then I had my afternoon relax. On my comfy chair.

My Badger friends are all home in our house.

Because they have to get all ready for their Hogmanay. 

They asked Zita if they could borrow the kitchen so they could make pies, with steaks inside.

And soups with onions and potatoes. My goodness.

They told me that there cannot be a Hogmanay if you do not have the special foods and Scotch.

Richard’s secret present for Zita was a brand new very old bottle of that smelly Scotch. 

That is the kind you have to drink only a bit of a time, or you will just fall over. 

Colonel Dugal said that is a very nice drink, but it was no from the Isles. 

His cousins make lots of that on that very little island full of castles. 

And he gets big round boxes just for all free. Ha. 

That is a good cousin. 

We had tasty chip and fishes for our dinner tonight, because Niamh was not here.

She was at Tarryn’s and had pizzas. 

Because you always have pizzas when you help someone move lots of stuff. It is the rule. 

Day Two Thousand and Fifty Seven

​Miss Pancake

When we got up this morning, and looked out our watching windows, everywhere was covered with nasty ice.

Because all night there was all over icy rain.

So Zita and I had to get the fast car all toasty warm, so she could take the ice away.

It took a long time, but I stayed right in the car and minded everything.

Then we found Niamh and took her to Tarryn’s.

Because she has to put everything in boxes.

Because she moving to her new apartment with mister Jamie. My goodness me. 

And it right beside her lovely shop. 

Then we went to our nice hardware store and I got treats. 

And we went to Mister Paul’s house and got that beautiful kitchen machine that he fixed all up. 

Yesterday we went to the farm, so Zita and Niamh and I could do our all around fast running.

In the lots of snow.

And I found a good running stick. 

Niamh helped me. 

Doctor Alice had to go to work today, to fix people at her hospital. Oh dear. That is not so much fun.

Emmet will bring her the secret presents when he goes back to Ireland. 

Emmet was doing university work on his new flat computer. 

But tonight Emmet went to play the dragons game with his old university friends. 

And Niamh went to Tyler’s parent’s house for another Merry Christmas party. My goodness me.

So I only had to mind Craig and Zita for dinner. That is an easy job. 

Because there was nobody here but us, we watch our detective program. Ha.

Then we went to fast asleep. Ha.

Day Two Thousand and Fifty Six

Miss Pancake 

​My goodness me. I did not go to bed until very late.

Because our giant party did not stop until all the desserts were all gone.

And the wines too. My goodness me.

Mister Charlie came for the party too.

And I minded him too.

Because he is just a little baby. 

And before dinnertime we had even more secret presents too.

And Niamh got a giant furry hat.

So did Zita. My goodness me.

We gave Mister Kirian his very favourite kind of book.

So he wa very happy too. 

Day Two Thousand and Fifty Four

​Miss Pancake 

When we got awake it was so cold my feet almost froze to the outside. My goodness.

So we only had a very little walk around.

Yesterday I was very busy minding the car when Zita and Niamh did lots and lots of important errands.

And you took two very big packages wth tasty food inside to Tyler. So he would not starve all away.

Because he is still sick. 

And now he cannot be at our big party with all the Mahoneys tonight. 

So he is sad. And so are we too.

But my far away friend Suzy is not sad. 

Because Cousin Ciara is going to have a band new baby.

So Suzy with be her very best Auntie. Ha. 

Yesterday Niamh was practicing making pictures with her new camera. 

When Craig was all dressed and had his coffees we had some of professor Jill’s own made doughnuts.

And Craig got a present from Alice’s father, Mister John. And it is a beautiful from Ireland hat. My goodness. 

Day Two Thousand and Fifty Two

​It is Merry Christmas today.

And when I went outside last night I heard the reindeer, on our roof.

But I did not bark at them. Ha. Good for me.

And when we went back inside I slept on the bed until it was all sunshine outside.

Then Zita and Emmet and Niamh and I wrapped lots and lots of presents. 

The very secret ones. Ha.

And then we put them all around our beautiful tree.

I was a very big help.

We were way too busy last night to do all the wrapping, because of the giant party. 

I minded everybody when they were having the dinner

But when Craig was all awake we had croissants. 

Because we alway have croissants before we can see the presents.

We talked to everybody in Dublin. Except for Cousin Emma. 

She was lying on the floor because the nasty flu caught her too. 

Niamh gave everybody their presents. One at a time. 

And Craig got giant boxes of Scotsman’s tasty treats. 

From the too much of everything store. 

And Zita got lots of clothes and books from Emmet and Niamh.

That Mister Saint Santa brought me a brand new tug toy. 

Because I was a very good girl all year. It is known. 

And Emmet got a brand new flat computer. 

I helped him open it.

Niamh got Emmet a very beautiful thing. And it had Alice’s picture in it. My goodness.

And Niamh got a Camera, and it is very big, so it can make very big pictures. My goodness. 

Emmet and Niamh got Craig a very special little computer, but only for exciting games. 

We talked to Mister Tyler, but he is still sick in his own bed. Oh dear. 

And when we were all finished, I had my nap. On my comfy chair.

And then we decided that we would have that delicious food from far away China.

Because it is only just my family here.

So we got only what we wanted. 

Even Craig’s very favourite all hot in your insides soup. 

And some rolls up too. Ha.

Good for us.

And when we were all tired we went right to our comfy bed. 

Day Tow Thousand and Fifty One

Miss Pancake 

​My goodness me.

I forgot that today is our giant for everybody party.

So I was very very busy.

But we went to the farm anyway. Because it is for our Christmas exercises.

When we got home my friend Lee was here. 

But Tyler was not here at all.

Because the nasty flu caught him.

And now he was too sick.

And now he was to stay in bed. 

And now Niamh is a bit sad.

But Zita and Niamh and Lee were all way busy making delicious dinners.

I was their best helper.

Then all my friends came here too. 

And we had delicious dinners for all our friends. And I minded them.

All my myself. 

But we did not stay up too late, because of Mister Saint Santa.

Day Two Thousand and Fifty

​My goodness me, we had a together breakfast this morning, because Emmet came upstairs this morning.

I minded Emmet when Zita and Niamh went to do the very nearly the last shopping.

For Merry Christmas. 

And when they came home Lee was here so I minded everybody, even fast asleep Craig. Ha. 

I was up until late last night, because of tge little houses.

This morning Professor Jill brought us her own made doughnuts. It was a present. But not secret.

After lunchtime Craig had his shower. 

Because if you are too smelly, Mister Saint Santa will not leave your secret presents. 

When he came into the kitchen he found brand new scones. 

And we had them for our lunch.

And all of a sudden, when I looked outside it was just all snow. Again.

But there will be lots of snow on our roof for those reindeers. That is hood.

Then Zita and Niamh went to the lovely shop, so I minded Craig and Emmet when they were talking. 

They talked for a long time, so I went to sleep.

When all the ladies were here the fast car brought Zita home with Mister Tony’s pizzas. Ha.

We had those nogs too. You can only have them at Merry Christmas time. I do not know why. 

Day Two Thousand and Forty Nine

Miss Pancake 

​We did not have a sleep in today.

So we went and got Niamh and brought her home.

Then all my family was right here for me to mind. Ha.

Except for Alice.

Because she is very busy fixing people in Cork, in her hospital. 

I hope Mister Saint Santa can find her in that hospital. My goodness me.

Zita went to our very very favourite delicious meats store, two times. 

Craig did not have a sleep in today.

He had a very long listening in.

Because he had to finish his very good book. 

And when he was all awake I helped him with his favourite cookies. 

The present man brought us Auntie Jane’s present.

And we opened it right away.

Because it was a giant basket filled with very tasty treats. My goodness.

That is good because tonight everybody comes to my house to make those little houses.

And put beautiful decorations all over them. 

They always have treats when they make those houses, and wines too. 

Emmet stayed downstairs today to finish his student’s stories. 

And to make sure we did not get his nasty cold. 

Doctor Alice told him to do this. 

Then Niamh went to the beautiful shop to help Tarryn, and maybe find beautiful presents.

Mister Clifford took Zita to find a present.

A store saved it for Emmet. 

When everybody got home, then everybody else came too.

Then my house was full up. My goodness me.

Day Two Thousand and Forty Eight

​Miss Pancake 

It was not way too cold today, so we went to the farm right after our breakfasts.

And we had a very nice time, until I found something and I ate it. 

And Zita said that I was a silly dog. 

But she promised not to tell Mister Saint Santa. That it good.

After I had my toasty feet bath, Craig was all awake.

Because my friend Emmet will be here today.

He was a bit too sick when he was in Ireland. 

But his lovely doctor gave them lots of good for you medicine.

And that lovely Doctor is Miss Alice. 

So Emmet has an all the time, right at home doctor. Ha.

So our fast car took Zita right to our aeroport And when she came home Emmet was here too. 

For Merry Christmas time.

And Niamh and Tyler got back from Toronto and did not get lost at all.

But they have to go to Tyler’s aunt’s party tonight. Oh well.

And tonight is the longest night for all year. My goodness me. 

My friend Emmet has a brand new very interesting story.

And now everybody can read it too. Not just me. That is good.

When Zita and Emmet got home, Emmet went downstairs, to the comfy bedroom and their very comfy pillows.

They are still very busy, because they have to read their student’s stories. 

So they are going to just stay downstairs until they are all finished.

But they had their tea first. Ha. 

Mister Paul fixed that kitchen machine for Niamh. Just like that. Ha. 

Day Two Thousand and Forty Seven

​When we got up this morning it was cold again.

So the fast car wanted to get toasty so it took us to the farm.

And Zita and I had a wonderful as could be time. 

Because I practiced my best no leash fast running. Ha. 

When the fast car was all warm, we went to do some Merry Christmas food shopping.

And we found Craig’s very favourite cookies. The oatmeal ones. 

And they did not have any chocolate in them, so I could have some too. 

I stayed in the fast car to mind it. Minding is a very important job for me. 

Tara sent me a picture of Mister Aidan and Mister Charlie. In Toronto.

Niamh and Tyler drove him there, in that other car.

There is going to be a very big Merry Christmas party at Tara’s tonight.

I think Mister Charlie will be there too. Ha. 

And a lady brought us outside lovely Merry Christmas decorations. 

Zita went up to the busy street to get some food, and then she had to come home.

Because there was not even a space for a car.

Because of Merry Christmas. My goodness. 

So she walked up there with her feet, and I minded Craig. 

We had an early dinner tonight, because we were up very early this morning.

And we had a new detective program to watch. 

Day Two Thousand and Forty Six

​We got up early the morning, because we had to drive Niamh and Tayler to the borrow a car shop.

Because they went to Toronto today.

Then Zita and I went to the bank on that very busy street. And I got a Merry Christmas treat.

Then we went right across the busy street and we went to an old clothes shop. 

But their clothes are very clean, just old. 

And when we got home it was time for Zita to go to her ladies Merry Christmas tea party.

So I stay here and minded Craig. 

And I got up on the big bed and lay down right beside him.

So his toes would not get even a bit cold.

Then we both we to fast fast asleep. 

He is not so sick today. 

So we listened to Merry Christmas music, right on the bed.

And when Zita got home we both got wide awake. 

And when Craig was getting all dressed, Zita remembered about my lunchtime.

So I did not have to wait for Craig to remember. 

Then Mister Paul came for his coffees and he took that very lovey kitchen machine home with him.

Because some nice person gave it to Niamh, but it does not work all the time.

So he is going to fix it. Ha. 

Because Paul likes fixing things. That is good. 

Day Two Thousand and Forty Five

Miss Pancake 

​It was not even a bit cold this morning, so the sidewalks do not have bit of snow on them.

So after our breakfasts Zita and Niamh and I went to visit Mister Valley’s lovely can be shop.

And it was very very busy, because of the Merry Christmas time.

But all the people came over to tell me how vey beautiful it was, and very polite too.

And lots of them told us all about their own lovely dogs.

And the nice store lady gave me a giant treat. Because I was so polite.

When we got home Craig was all dressed.

But his tummy is still not so nice. Oh well. 

I will sleep beside him tonight and then it will be all better.

Tomorrow Niamh and Tyler are going to far away Toronto, to visit Mister Charlie and Tarra and Taylor.

But only for a few days because Niamh’s big brother will be here soon too.

This afternoon I minded Craig, because Zita and Niamh busy doing secret shopping. My goodness.

Day Two Thousand and Forty Three

Miss Pancake 

​My goodness I was so very very busy all the time.

My friend Craig’s tummy was so sick that he had to stay in bed. And he even could not even eat his dinner.

So I stayed with him until nearly morning when Zita got awake.

She slept in our comfy office bed. Because Craig was a bit noisy sick.

Craig said that I was the very best nurse. 

Yesterday he was a bit better so I did not have to stay with him.

I just went in to make sure he was still not too dead.

Last night Mister Aidan and Miss Stephanie came for a little visit for Niamh’s birthday.

And they brought me treats too. 

And it was not even my birthday. My goodness me.

This morning Zita and I moved our cars and then we pushed all the snow away. It took a very long time. 

And I was her very best helper, and I did not even have my leash on. Even one time. 

Because I am a big dog now. 

Then Zita and Niamh and I put our very beautiful decorations on our Merry Christmas tree.

My friend Lee was here today and he finished his very last exam for our nice university. 

Now he can dig up important things and not go to jail. Ha. 

Then he finished putting all the decorations on our tree. 

Craig got up today, but he does not like eating so very much. 

So I had to wait a very long time for him to finish his scone. Too bad for me.

A man came to look at the basement machine that makes our house toasty warm, 

Because it was making a silly noise.

Niamh and Lee made beautiful pictures when they were at the dining room table.

So I had to mind everybody when Zita went to to secret errands. My goodness.

It is Miss Doctor Alice’s sing the happy birthday song day. 

But I did not have to mind her. Because she is still in far away Ireland with Emmet. 

But Craig and I sent her a happy birthday picture, and it was of us. Ha.

That was a good picture.

When Zita took Niamh to Tyler’s apartment Craig and I had a relax. 

Because he is still a bit too tired. 

And when she came home she had a special dinner for Craig and it was in a bottle. My goodness 

Then it was time for bed. 

Because it was a long day for us. 

Day Two Thousand and Forty One

​Today is the sing happy birthday song day for my friends Emmet and Niamh. 

But before anything we went to our farm, because there was so much snow I could jump right into it. Ha.

When we got home we talked to Emmet in far away so we could say happy birthday.

And then Niamh and Tarryn came here to put our lots and lots of beautiful decorations on our tree.

And lots of very beautiful lights too.

Day Two Thousand and Forty

​When Zita and I got up it was another lots of snow day.

But it was the fluffy, blow all around snow. So we went for our walk.

But I had to put my boots on. I do not like those boots so much. 

But Zita said all the beautiful dogs wear them. I do not like them anyway. 

There were lots of children sliding into the empty pond. 

And some of them just were sliding on their bottoms. My goodness me.

Zita and I went and found Niamh at Mister Tyler’s apartment.

And then we all went to the farm for our good morning exercises. 

I showed them my very best fast as could be snow running. 

It is not so easy to be a very fast runner in the lots of snow.

When came home Zita and Niamh got the big shovels and moved some lots and lots of our snow. 

But then, just like that it was windy all the time snow.

She they came in to look at Niamh’s party clothes.

Because tomorrow is Emmet and Niamh’s sing happy birthday day.

My friend Tarryn came over to visit me.

Right on the comfy living room sofa.

Then we put up some very beautiful Merry Christmas decorations. 

And Niamh made them. By herself.

We had pizzas, in the living room. Then Zita took Niamh and Tarryn to Tyler’s.

Because then everybody is going to the hard questions restaurant to sing happy birthday to Niamh.

I minded Craig.

And when Zita got home it was detective time for us. 

Day Two Thousand and Thirty Nine

Miss Pancake 

​My goodness, yesterday my best friend Craig had another sick tummy headache. 

So when I was not all the time busy helping Zita and Niamh and Tarryn and Dina I kept him cosy.

Until he could open his eyes. 

Last night we took Niamh and Dina downtown so they could do merry Christmas shopping. 

When we got home Zita and I got into bed to keep Craig all warm, because he was too cold.

Miss Janet showed Zita and I how to squish his hand so he would not have a too cold hand. 

This morning I was very very busy helping Niamh with her secret present. 

Then Zita went to the too much of everything store. Susan went too.

Because we had to have everything for Niamh’s sing happy birthday party. 

I got her two very lovely secret presents. Craig showed them to me. 

When Emmet gets home, we will give them their secret presents too. Ha. 

Today the secret present that I will give Emmet came here. My favourite present man brought it. Ha. 

I saw it. It is a very wonderful present. 

That is good, because you should always give wonderful presents. 

When Zita got home she had giant bags of everything. My goodness me.

Then Mister Paul came for a nice visit. 

Because he came home from England. 

So Zita cooked croissants in our stove for all of us.

I had a wonderful nap when everybody was just talking. 

When Niamh got home from her very beautiful dancing class she was a bit very tired.

So we drove Niamh and lots of groceries and even more tasty snacks to Mister Tyler’s apartment.

And she took all our popcorns too. 

When we got back home we watched the very good lady detective. 

She lives in the very old town with the very old university.

It is the same university that asked Emmet to come and talk to their students about his very important stories. 

Maybe she will go and listen to that story. If she has caught all the nasty people. 

Day Two Thousand and Thirty Eight

Miss Pancake 

​We did not write my story yesterday, because Craig had a sick tummy headache.

So he just stayed in the comfy bed.

I went in all the time and he was always not even a bit dead. That was good.

And Zita made him a toasty bagel just before our bed time. 

I had to help him, because he was not so very hungry.

In the afternoon when he was fast fast asleep Zita and Niamh and I found our beautiful Merry Christmas tree. 

And we put it up. Right in the same place as last year. 

So Mister Saint Santa would not be confused.

But we did not put any of our beautiful decorations on it.

Because we have to wait for Niamh’s friends to do it.

Because that is their favourite Merry Christmas time job.

The other day Zita and Niamh and I went to the giant tires store.

But we did not get and tires. We just looked all over everywhere at everything. And I was very brave.

Because we went on the up and down room. And I was not even a bit scared. 

This afternoon Craig practiced driving with the motor. So I stayed in the office. 

This morning Zita and I went for a walk and over our neighbourhood and then it started to snow.

So we were all snowy when we got home. 

But when I was all dry I went in our office to help Zita and then Lee came over. So I helped them too.

This afternoon Zita went out in the lots and lots of brand new snow to do important errands. 

Dina came here for a meeting and when Zita got home she helped do her knitting. 

So Dina can make me a nice pillow. Maybe. 

Day Two Thousand and Thirty Six

Miss Pancake 

​My goodness we had an exciting day today.

Zita and I went to our beautiful farm and we had a very wonderful time.

And then we got Niamh, and when we got home Craig was getting all dressed very early.

Because as soon as he finished his coffee, Mister Joe brought us the new fast chair.

And it was as orange as could be, and it has a motor on the back. So it can go all by itself.

But only when Craig wants it too. 

Then Zita took Susan for Merry Christmas shopping and Craig practiced not running into anything.

I stayed in our office with Niamh, so I did not get run over even once. 

But Craig was a bit way too tired, so he went to bed early, so I could mind him.

And keep him comfy war. 

Day Two Thousand Thirty Four

​Miss Pancake 

After we had our breakfasts and a together relax we went to the farm. 

It was an all the time snow day, but we went anyway.

The fast car was very happy. 

Because it has brand new do not get all stuck tires. Ha.

When we got there we were just us.

And I ran as fast as could be for a very long time. 

Because it was just snowy not way way too cold. 

I found lots of fast running stick today

When we got back to the fast car Zita had to clean all the windows.

Because of the snow. 

But we did not go home, we went to the wonderful things for dogs store. My goodness me. 

And we got special scissors for Niamh, so she can make my toes as beautiful hers. Ha.

And we got a brand new leash, just for me, and it was not a secret present.

Then I took Zita all over the store, so I could sniff everything. 

My goodness what a good day for me,

When we got home Craig had his squeaky clean shower. 

But I am not so very happy when he is in that very slow chair. 

So Zita had to tell me a lot of times that it was alright. 

But when he was a clean as could be, he and Zita had coffees, and I helped him with a very lovely croissant.

Niamh sent me a picture this afternoon.

Niamh and Tyler had soup for their breakfast. My goodness me.

Yesterday was Zita’s father’s sing happy birthday day. 

And now he is even older. My goodness. 

A very big car came to my house, before dinnertime, to get a table. 

Because we had too many in the basement tables. 

We had fishes and chips for dinner. I got some.

Then we went to bed.

And I had brand new sheets to sleep on. Those are my favourite sheets. 

Day Two Thousand and Thirty Three

Miss Pancake 

​My goodness, as soon as we finished our breakfasts, Zita and I took the fast car to the farm.

The fast car was very happy, because it gets very cold just waiting for us to go somewhere.

When we got to the farm I found a very lovely stick.

So I could practice my very best fast as can be running.

And I did not even have my leash on. Ha. 

That is because I am I big girl now. 

When our feet were too too cold we went back to the fast car, and it was still toasty. 

So we went to Mister Tyler’s apartment and found Niamh, so we could bring her home.

Then we cooked very very delicious croissants in our stove.

And they smelled so delicious that Craig got up, before we ate them all. 

Then we looked in the very very big bag of presents from Niamh’s very lovely company.

And they were very exciting presents, a very beautiful bowl made by a way up north man.

And lots of very special bottles for tasty food, and especially cheeses. 

Cheeses are my very favourite. 

Then Zita and Niamh and I were very busy on a secret as can be present. 

I could help, because it was not for me.

And everybody listed to Merry Christmas music. 

Because soon we will get our own beautiful Merry Christmas tree. 

Then Zita and I helped Niamh make her room all neat and tidy. That was a big job.

Then Zita and Niamh and I talked until Tarryn came here,

Because everybody is going to the hockey game tonight.

Then Zita took them to the hockey game bus, 

And when she was home she had a delicious rollup for Craig and a Mister Kettleman’s bagel with salmons for herself. 

And when I had my dinner I got treats too. 

Then it was detective time for us. 

Day Two Thousand and Thirty Two

​My goodness me, when we went for our walk we only saw the other park before my feet were too cold.

So we went home.

Because of the way too cold. And it was windy too.

So we got into the fast car, so we could get Niamh. 

Because she was working at our house before she went to a nice lunch with her boss and Miss Dina too. 

Then when we got home Zita went downstairs to wrap secret presents in beautiful Merry Christmas time papers. 

And I went downstairs too, so I could be her Merry Christmas present helper. 

Niamh told us she and Tyler had a very lovely time at the dancing show. 

And her gramma’s coat kept her as warm as summertime. Ha.

And Tyler wore the beautiful jacket that used to be Craig’s own jacket.

And they went to a best ever restaurant too.

And they had very delicious steaks. And desserts too. 

Because it is Merry Christmas time. 

When Craig got all dressed today, I already had my lunch, because today Zita did not forget today.

Then Craig and Zita talked about secret present. I did not listen, because maybe they were my presents. 

And when Craig had his next another coffee Mister Clifford took Zita secret present shopping.

Mister Clifford was very happy, because now her was toasty warm all over. 

After Niamh’s lunchtime she went to help at the lovely shop. 

Because they are very busy at Merry Christmas time. 

After Mister Clifford left I had an outside relax. 

Because it was not so cold. And I am very furry. 

But when I came I had nap comfy chair nap. 

In our warm house.

Last night we watched a detective who lives near Cousin Emma. But I did not see her. Oh well. 

I think she was secret present shopping. 

Niamh and Tyler are not having their dinner here tonight, because they are helping Lee and Cara make Bruna and Lyndon’s Merry Christmas tree beautiful. 

So they will have a tasty dinner at that house. Too bad.

We do not have our Merry Christmas tree yet, because Zita and Niamh are always very busy. 

If you do not have a Merry Christmas tree you cannot have secret presents.

Because there would be no beautiful tree to put them under. My goodness that would be sad.

After our dinner we will watch the from Ireland detective again.

Maybe I will have a nice nap 

Day Two Thousand and Thirty One

​Miss Pancake 

Zita and I were going to go to the farm this morning, but it was way too cold for us.

So we went and brought Niamh home from Mister Tyler’s apartment.

His hockey team won so he and Mister Jamie were very happy. 

When we got home we had a very long all over our neighbourhood .

Then we had a had a little together relax.

But then Zita and the fast car went out to get groceries and more secret present shopping. 

Craig had a sleep in but he did not forget about my lunchtime. Ha.

Then Emmet sent him a picture of a very very old piece of paper that Emmet could not read.

But Craig could read it, because he is very very old too.

Last night Miss Linsey came for a Christmas time visit.

Niamh and Miss Linsey used to be dancing together people. 

Now she is back in our city. 

And she brought us beautiful Merry Christmas decorations for our door, and real maple syrup.

Some people buy pretend maple syrup, but we cannot. It is our rule. Ha.

Tonight Niamh and Tyler are going out for a special night.

And Niamh is wearing her gramma’s made of minks coat.

And her very most beautiful clothes. 

Craig said she was so beautiful that I should go to be her very fierce guarding dog.

That is true.

But the giant theatre does not have space for nice dogs. Too bad for them.

They are going to see beautiful dancing. 

With soldiers and nasty rats. And ferries with wings. Ha.

They are not Irish ferries. Irish ferries do not have wings, and they live underneath the ground. 

And they have magic trees. My goodness me.

One time there was a giant rat in our side yard, but Poppy caught in right in the air. And then it was all dead.

So we do not have rats on our street anymore. Ha.

Craig saw those magic trees when he was in Ireland. 

But he did not see even one ferrie. 

My friend Emmet teaches about them. In his far away university. Maybe Emmet will see them. 

My friend the secret present man brought a present for Craig from the Badgers. 

I do not know what I am getting my friend Craig. I have to talk to Niamh and Zita. My goodness me. 

Niamh is so busy that Festis is still helping her in our office. 

I see him when I am on the comfy sofa. 

Zita drove Niamh to Mister Tyler’s place, so they could go to a table sheets restaurant before the dancing rats.

After our dinner it was time to watch a brand new detective program.

Maybe I will have my after dinner nap. 

Day Two Thousand and Twenty Nine

Miss Pancake 

​My goodness what a very busy morning we had.

Zita and I went for a very long walk, but we had to be careful because some places were way too slippy. 

Then Zita and Susan went secret presents shopping.

So I stayed here to mind Niamh, because she is still very busy.

But then our friend Peggy came here.

And she had a wonderful present for Niamh, and it was not even a bit secret.

It was Grandma Betty’s wagon.

It was not a sliding down the snow hills wagon.

It was a wagon for all your make you very own tea and biscuits.

And it was the same one Niamh used to play with when she was very little.

That was a very nice present.

And when Zita got home she had another not a bit secret present for Niamh.

It was a beautiful box for all her beautiful paintings things. 

Craig found it, and it was free. My goodness.

And Zita made Craig some coffee for Craig and then she made use toasts. Ha. 

Niamh was so busy she came into the living room and asked Festis to go in the office to help her.

Colonel Dugal and Furrgus could not help her.

Because they still had nasty headaches and sick tummies from those Mister Saint Andrew’s day parties. 

But Niamh did not tell her friends on the computer, so they would not just talk about them. That was a good idea.

When her work was all finished she and Zita made very beautiful Merry Christmas decorations.

They used branches from our giant hedge and very beautiful red balls. 

The whole dinning room table was covered in branches.

So Craig had to have his soup only on the corner. Too bad for him.

Then he went to the very comfy bed so I could keep him toasty. Ha. 

Day Two Thousand and Twenty Eight

Miss Pancake 

​I went to my farm today. 

The fast car took us there. 

And we had a very wonderful time. 

Because I found a fast running stick. 

So I ran faster than ever.

And then Zita and I played the find me game. Ha.

I won because I always found her. 

That is a very good game for us.

But it was a very cold day, but I am still very furry. 

And fast running keeps me toasty warm. Ha. Good for me. 

Then we went to Tyler’s apartment and we found my Niamh.

And we brought her home to our house, so she could do her important work in our office. 

Craig said she is way too busy. My goodness. 

Then I helped Zita make our house all as near and tidy as could be. 

Craig and Niamh had a refrigerator pizza for their lunch. I got some of Craig’s. Ha.

Craig is the very best sharer in my house. It is known. 

The very old telephone was very loud, and it was Zita’s parents. They were still in far away Ireland.

My favourite present man brought us a present. 

Maybe it is secret present. Or maybe it is just coffees. 

But I was not there, because I was very busy minding Niamh. 

And the presents man asked Craig where I was. 

But Craig told him I was fast asleep, and that was not a bit true. My goodness. 

My friend Tarryn came here to visit me and Niamh.

And to have a delicious dinner with us. That was a good idea. 

We had very fat hamburgers, then Niamh and Tarryn had to go and watch Tyler and Jamie play hockey.

We watched the new detective program. 

Day Two Thousand and Twenty Seven

When we were as awake as could be and looked out the window the whole world was full of snow.

Miss Alexa was wrong. 

She said there was only going to be a little as could be snow. My goodness me.

So we did not go for a walk.

we went downstairs into our basement.

Because it was way too full up with too much.

So Zita and I went to the that room and opened the doors 

And the closet was so full we had to take everything out, so we could find the extra warm coats.

And we decided to take them to the people who do not have very toasty coats. 

And then we had a very nice relax right in the living room so we could watch the sliding cars. 

And then when Craig was awake he did not get dressed. 

Because today was the day he went to the bathtub on that new machine.

So he got in a not very fast chair. 

And it did not have any very big wheels. So it could not go fast.

But when he was in it there was a machine in the bathtub, so the slow chair just slides into the bathtub. 

Then Craig had a squeaky clean shower. My goodness me.

Then he got all dressed and the go fast chair was just there waiting for him. 

So he made coffees for Zita and himself too.

And Zita made toasts with the delicious from France jam.

And we listened to Merry Christmas music.

Because Emmet is not here. 

He thinks Craig starts the Merry Christmas music too soon. Oh well.

He cannot hear it, because he is still in far away Cork. Ha.

Then Zita cleared all the snow off the fast car. 

I could not be her helper, so I had to mind her from my windows. Too bad for her. 

But when she was all finish we went in a lovely walk in the beautiful brand new snow. 

And lots of houses had beautiful Merry Christmas lights, but they were not as beautiful as ours. 

And I ran as fast as could be all over Bruna and Jennifer’s front gardens. Ha.

When we got home I helped Zita made our dinner. 

And we had steaks. 

And because I was her best helper I got some too.

Then we were all tired, so we watched the very good detective program. 

Day Two Thousand and Twenty Six

Miss Pancake

I had the very busiest day in the world.

We walked all over everywhere.  

We went up the street to the old house, and there were lots of people and they all said good morning to me.

And I was very polite, and everybody wanted to know what kind of beautiful dog I was.

Because there are not lots and lots of lovely Bouvier dogs like me everywhere.

Then we went to the bank and I got a giant treat. Ha.

And then we met Brenda right on the sidewalk.

So we had a nice long talk. I sat very still and watched everything. 

Yesterday we saw our friend Mister Lyndon, and it was his very last day of going to work.

Because now he is retired, like Craig and Zita. Ha. 

Then we went back to that old house because the ladies were selling tasty treats. So we bought some. 

And Craig had some for his lunch. They were tasty doughnuts. 

Day Two Thousand and Twenty Five

Miss Pancake ​

My goodness me. Another busy day.

Right after our breakfasts Zita and I went downtown and got Niamh.

Because she has a big story to finish for her work.

So she needed to work in our lovely comfy office. 

Zita and I went for our walk after we got back home. 

There was a little bit of that snow on our garden, but not on the road.

So there not enough for fast sliding.

We met a very nice dog on our walk.  And we played the catch me game. Ha.

That dog was bigger than me, but I am faster. So we got lots of fast exercising.

Maybe we can be friends. Maybe. 

Craig had a sleep in, because of his book.

But when he got up I got my lunch right away. And I got treats too. 

Then Zita went out and got a secret present. Because of the Merry Christmas time.

My friend Cousin Lucy sent me a picture. 

She is in her university in Ireland and is going to be a fix you all up nurse. 

So now she has nurse’s clothes. 

Maybe she will be in Doctor Alice’s own hospital. Maybe. 

Before my dinnertime Niamh went to her beautiful dancing class. 

So I only had to mind Craig and Zita tonight.

Day Two Thousand and Twenty Five

​My goodness another very busy day. 

Zita and I went for a very long walk this morning, because it was nearly a very nice day.

And when we got to our own driveway Tarryn was here, and I did not go into my house.

Because right away our fast car took Tarryn and I to Mister Tyler’s apartment to get Niamh.

Because she had lots of important, in our office work to do.

Then Zita went to Mister Roger’s make you beautiful shop. 

Because it was time to get her hair all ready for Merry Christmas time. 

I minded everything when she was away.

When she came back home, Craig was getting all dressed.

So he got me my lunch, before he even had his coffee. Ha.

The present men came to my house two times today. 

And one of them was my friend, with his all wrapped around his head hat.

When Craig had his coffee he had three of those very tasty apple rollups. They are my favourite too. 

Zita had used pizza for her lunch, but there was not enough to share. That was not so very polite. 

Then she went to do more errands. 

My friends the Badgers were very busy packing all their very best clothes. 

Even the ones with medals.

Because Festis and Furrgus have to go back to Castle Tiroam for a very special day.

Because on that day their always give a giant party. 

And Cousin Mórag said they have missed the last two, because they were too busy galavanting all over to attend to their responsibilities. Oh dear.

Colonel Dugal said that they are afraid of Cousin Mórag, so they are going. 

My friend Dugal is going too. Because it is a party. 

Maybe his Auntie Elseabeth will be there. If it not too rainy. Parties are here favourite. 

Niamh and I made even more pictures of Tarryn for her university story. 

I went downstairs to be Niamh’s best helper. 

And when I came upstairs I had to remind Craig that it was past my dinner time. 

And after dinner I minded him. 

Right on my own comfy chair. 

Because Zita and Niamh went to the grocery store before Niamh went to Mister Tyler’s apartment.

Day Two Thousand and Twenty Four

Miss Pancake 

When we were awake and looked outside it was a nasty rainy day.

And all the snow was gone. 

But Zita told me that it will be back.

That is good, because I like the snow time.

Because you can jump into those big mountains of snow.

And she said that it will be here so my friend Emmet can have real snow.

They do not have real snow in far away Ireland. 

It just goes away before you can do your best sliding.

Snow is the best thing for sliding.

Niamh and I went and got Tarryn, and then we all went for an altogether walk. That was a good idea.

But then everybody had to do their work. And then Lee came here too. Ha.

So I was very busy.

When Craig got up to have his coffees, he found a very delicious all filled up croissant.

Because Zita got it just for us. Ha.

Zita and Tarryn were in the dining room making her story just perfect. 

At Merry Christmas time Tarryn will be all finished at her university. My goodness me.

I was very busy too. 

Because I was guarding Craig when he was getting secret presents for people, on his flat computer.

Because soon it will be Merry Christmas time. 

So you have to get all those secret presents ready. It is the rule in our house. 

My friend the present man brought some after lunchtime.

He always comes up to my windows and waves at me. Ha. 

And after lunchtime Craig came and told me that now I am a big sister.

Because my, in far far away, mother had brand new babies.

That is why I am now their very own big sister. I was very excited.

And Craig showed me all the pictures too. My goodness me. 

Being a big sister is a very important job. It is known. 

Then Tarryn had to have beautiful pictures for her important story.

And my friend Niamh and I made them. Ha.

So I went downstairs into the basement to be Niamh’s very best helper. That is a good job for me. 

Because we were so busy Zita got a nice man to bring us pizzas.

And Niamh and Tarryn and I had ours downstairs in Niamh very big bedroom. Ha.

When we were finished I came upstairs and my own dinner was there. 

So I was not even a bit hungry today.
