Day Two Thousand One Hundred and Forty Seven

Miss Pancake 

​I took my friend Niamh for an everywhere walk this morning.

Because Zita’s toe is still a bit sore.

We found lots of the too much snow all melted. Ha.

And my own corner is nearly all grass again. 

I think that my friends the ducks will be back from their vacations soon.

When we got home we went downstairs right away.

Because we had lots and lots of important work to do. 

And lots of far away people to talk to.

The fast car took Zita out all morning to do some important errands.

And when she came home Craig went and had a squeaky clean shower.

And he made coffees, but not for everybody.

Because Zita and Niamh got into the fast car, and went to the too much of everything store.

I stayed here, and had a very nice outside relax in my side yard. 

But then there was very loud thunder, so I came right back in. 

That loud thunder is a bit scary. 

But Craig was not a bit scared, so I stayed with him. 

Then I went into my den to stay on my comfy sofa. 

That thunder did not even know I was there. Ha.

When Zita and Niamh got home the kitchen was all full up with everything.

Because soon there will be a holiday and we will have a special very tasty dinner.

Maybe with Zita’s very delicious hams. My goodness me.

Niamh went to her round and round dancing class tonight.

So Craig and Zita had the only used one time from China food. 

Craig said it is even always better used. My goodness. I did not know that.

Then it was detective time for us. 

Day Two Thousand and Forty Six

​Miss Pancake 

My goodness, when we were awake and I went outside that too much snow was melting everywhere.

We did not go to our farm, because it was way too messy.

So we went and got Niamh and then we got Tarryn. 

When we got home Zita and Tarryn worked at the dining room table, and I minded Niamh in our beautiful office.

When we looked out the windows there were people who only had T-shirts on. My goodness. 

Craig said it was not that warm.

But everybody wants it to be warm. 

Zita told me that maybe the nasty cold caught Craig last night.

Maybe because I only slept on his feet for just a little bit. Maybe.

But he took some medicine and got all dressed anyway.

But he had two coffees and a big piece of that gingerbreads. 

He said that coffees are good for his sore throat. 

I helped him with his gingerbreads, because it was way too big.

Then everybody was in the kitchen talking, so I had my nap there, so I could mind them.

Craig was just having a music relax in our living room. 

Tyler came to visit me. 

And have his dinner with us. 

And a nice man brought us that full of very delicious from China food. 

Because it was a very long day today. 

And it is very delicious too. 

So we did not watch our crocodiles detectives tonight, because we were too busy eating. 

And talking. Ha. 

Day Two Thousand and Forty Five

 ​Miss Pancake 

It was only a beautiful day outside today, not very beautiful.

It was not so warm and there were lots of those not even a bit fluffy clouds. 

So the fast car took Zita and I to my tasty treats shop.

And we got two different kinds of treats. Ha.

Then we went to our farm. So I could run very fast all over.

And find fast running sticks too. 

Zita did not do any fast running with me.

Because her foot is still too sore for running. 

But when Zita and I got home we made gingerbread breads.

But they are not real breads.

Because you cannot make toasts with them. 

But they are very tasty anyway 

They are just like shortbreads. 

You cannot put them in the toasting machine either. 

They have the wrong names. Too bad for them. 

Then Niamh and Tarryn and Sach came for and visit and to try the gingerbreads. Ha.

Then everybody went downstairs to do some more packing for Niamh’s apartment.

Zita said they did more looking than packing. Oh well.

But just like that, lots of the shelves were empty. My goodness.

I was a very big help. Everybody told me. Ha.

Then Craig was up early today.

Yesterday he had a too sore shoulder and was just in bed.

I thought he was in a sleep in, and I did not go to be a big help.

And when I went in, to help him get all dressed, he was fast asleep as anything.

Because he took some of his do not be too sore medicine, and did not wake up until past my dinner.

But then we had a nice piece of toasts with honey on top. Ha.

When he all awake today he was all perfect again.

So I helped him with the very tasty gingerbreads.

Niamh brought up all her music machines from her bedroom. 

Because she is going to have music machines in her apartment. 

Craig said she can have any of those too many machines in the den. 

If she wants them. Some are not so very old. 

And maybe she might want some not so very big ones.

Or maybe a beautiful one. 

Zita and Niamh and Tarryn and I were downstairs all afternoon. 

And we put lots and lots of everything in boxes. 

So Niamh can take them with her when she moves into that apartment.

Then the fast car was all full up with extra clothes. 

So Zita took them to the give stuff away shop. 

Because some people do not have extra stuff. So now they can have ours. 

When Zita got home it was our dinner time.

So it was good that she got home in time. 

And after dinnertime we had time for our very funny crocodiles detectives program.

But it is sometimes hard to understand. 

Because they are in Australia. Even those giant crocodiles too. 

Day Two Thousand and Forty Three

Miss Pancake 

​It was a beautiful day, because there was not anything except blue skies everywhere.

So we took the fast car to Mister Mike’s.

Miss Martha gave me lots of tasty treats.

Because I am their favourite garage dog. Ha.

Then Zita and I walked all the way back home. That is a long walk. 

When we got home went downstairs to see Niamh.

But when we were downstairs Zita’s toe hit a very hard box. 

And now it is very very sore. 

And she had to put special toe tapes on it. 

So now I am very very busy.

Because I have to take care of Zita and Niamh too. 

Craig is still all right. That is good. 

He shared his muffin with me. 

Because I am taking such good care of my family. Ha. 

Miss Bruna and Mister Lyndon sent me a from very very far away picture.

They told me that they did not even get lost one time. That is good. 

Mister Clifford and Niamh took Zita to Mister Mike’s, to bring the fast car home.

Because it has a brand new button. 

Mister Clifford likes to go for adventure rides. 

So he can get all ready for the summertime.

I did not go.

But Mister Clifford wanted to know where Craig was.

Because he always keeps Mister Clifford company on adventure rides.

We told him that Craig was in the house, hiding from the nasty catch you bugs. 

And I stayed here to help guard Craig from nasty bugs. 

And to have my before dinnertime relax.

Because I have been very very busy. 

Niamh did not go to her beautiful dancing class tonight.

Because she is still just a little sick. 

That is why I am still her very best nurse. 

But Zita took her to the apartment, because she was nearly all better. 

Because I was her very best nurse. 

And when Zita got home it was everybody’s dinnertime. 

Day Two Thousand and Forty Two

Miss Pancake 

​I was very busy again. And for all day.

Because Niamh is still a little bit caught by that nasty cold.

But I was her very very best nurse.

She told me so.

I did not take Zita for an all around walk this morning.

Because it was just freezie rain.

Then I had to mind the whole house all by myself.

Because Zita and Miss Chris went to a movie on the busy street.

And it was not even nighttime. My goodness me.

And I did not have my lunch until very late.

Because I was so busy minding Niamh. That was a very important job for me.

When I went upstairs there was still a little bit of muffin for me. Ha. 

Then I had my lunch with some cheese on top. 

The Badgers were very busy.

They took their very best uniforms to the clean your clothes shop.

Because of all the crème caramel stains.

Because they have been invited to France’s building. It is downtown.

Because they are having a big party. For a special day.

For a long time ago battle that the French soldiers lost. 

But they were very very brave when they lost.

And their best soldier had a wooden hand. My goodness me.

And one of our bears has been invited too. 

Because he used to be one of those very brave soldiers. When he was not so old.

That is why the Badgers are going. 

They will be his minders at the party. 

Craig and Zita and Niamh and I did not get invited. Oh well.

I think were are busy anyway. Too bad for them.

When Zita got home she told me that her movie was very good, but it was too sad for me.

That is why I stayed here to mind Niamh. 

And Craig too. 

When Zita was home Niamh had a bath. She said she was a bit too smelly.

I did not think so.

I thought she just smelled like my Niamh. 

Craig and Zita had an upstairs dinner, but after my dinner I went back downstairs to take care of Niamh.

After dinner Craig and Zita watched the nasty crocodile detective program. Oh well. 

Day Two Thousand and Forty One

Miss Pancake 

​My goodness what a very busy day we had.

My friend Niamh got caught by a nasty cold bug.

And I did not even see it. Oh dear.

But Zita said you cannot see those kind of bugs.

Maybe they are magic bugs, maybe.

So Niamh stayed right in her comfy bed. I stayed with her after my breakfast.

Then Zita and I went to Tarryn’s beautiful shop. To get something for Niamh.

Then we went to Mister Mike’s fix your car shop.

It is right there, near the beautiful shop.

Because the fast car has a sticky button.

And Miss Martha said that the fast car could stay. 

Because they were not too busy today.

And then she gave me a special treat. 

Because I am always very polite when I am in her shop. 

Then we walked home. 

All the way from Mister Mike’s shop to my house. 

And we went right on the scary over the canal bridge. 

And we walked down the busy street, and I smelled lots of interesting things. 

Even that Mister Nicastro’s full of delicious cheeses shop. 

But we did not go in today. 

Because we were very busy.

And then we found Mister Kettleman’s store, so I knew we were almost at our house. 

And just like that we were home. My goodness me.

But when we got home Niamh was still in her bed.

So I got right up on her bed, so I could be her very best nurse. That is my very best job.

And then I had my nap.

Because I was a bit too tired after my very long all the way walk. 

Craig had Scotsman’s porridge for his lunch. I got to clean the bowl all up. Ha.

Then Niamh needed me to keep her toasty warm. 

We did not go to the farm today, because we were way way too all the time busy. 

I stayed on Niamh’s bed until dinner time. 

But Niamh only wanted some nice noodles for her dinner. 

Because of the nasty cold. 

They were from far away noodles. A nice man brought them right to my house. 

This afternoon Craig found a box and filled it with not so very important stuff for the garbage. 

And even found books that he forgot we had. My goodness.

And those books had lots of pictures of aeroplanes, even some of the airplanes his father had. 

We watched our detectives program, and it is full of dangerous crocodiles. 

And one ate somebody. 

But we do not have crocodiles. 

Because our polar bears would eat them all up. 

Because crocodiles cannot run on the ice, but polar bears can. Ha. Good for us. 

Day Two Thousand and Forty

​Miss Pancake 

Zita and I were all awake very early this morning.

And when we looked out our windows it was a very beautiful day outside.

I could not see even one of those sheep clouds. It was only very bright sunshine.

So we got into the fast car and just like that we were at our farm. My goodness me. 

And there was not even anyone else but us.

Because we were a bit early in the morning.

Even lots of snow was gone. Ha. 

When we got home Niamh was awake, so we had another breakfast. 

Then Zita went downstairs to look for some important papers, so I minded Niamh in our office.

When Craig got up he remembered my lunch. Ha. 

So I was not even a bit hungry.

And I helped him with one of those tasty muffins.

Then I went back to mind Niamh. 

In case she was talking to those polar bears. 

And Craig was just busy moving books. Oh well.

We had toasty cheesies tonight, and there was delicious hams inside. Ha.

Hams are my favourite.

Then Craig and Zita moved more books.

But not so very many tonight.

Because it was detective program time for us. 

Day Two Thousand and Thirty Nine

Miss Pancake 

​My goodness, today I took my friend Niamh on a very long all around walk.

And we went to our empty pond.

And we got right in it.

Because it was just full of snow. Ha.

And then I showed her all streets with my very best smelling spots. 

She was very glad to find them. 

Zita was not with us.

Because she was with the fast car, because of some important errands.

And when she came home she brought back some giant muffins.

And they were those very delicious blueberries muffins.

But I had to wait until Craig was very awake and had his coffees before I could help him with the muffins.

Niamh was very busy today talking to lots of far away people, way up near the polar bears.

So I had to mind her, just incase those polar bears were very scary. Ha.

Craig was talking to my friend Emmet, all about going to that very very old college in England.

And they had breakfast at the very same table that his very favourite writer had his breakfast, every day.

Because at that university everybody has together breakfasts every day. 

In a giant dinning room. With lots of lovely glasses  

And lots of pictures on the walls. My goodness me. 

This afternoon I had my nap downstairs with my friend Niamh.

Because Craig was in the den and moving books all over. 

All afternoon. 

And some were just there on my sofa. That was not so very comfortable.

So I went downstairs. Too bad for him. 

We had a very delicious for everybody dinner tonight. 

But everybody was only Craig and Zita and Niamh and me. So I was not so busy tonight. 

After dinner Tarryn came here for a visit.

Craig and Zita and I had a very nice relax, before we went to fast asleep. 

Day Two Thousand and Thirty Eight

Miss Pancake 

​We had a very quiet day today.

There was freezie rain outside, so we did not go to our farm.

But we had a very long walk on all my very favourite streets.

So I could smell everything all over.

Then the fast car took Zita to see Mister IKEA.

So she could find a beautiful blind for our office.

And some important boxes for Niamh too. 

I stayed here and minded Craig. 

When Zita was back home and Craig was awake, I helped Zita. In our office.

I was very brave, because the long boxes of stuff are very noisey and a bit scary.

But Zita and I put that brand new blind up anyway. 

And the brand new light works too.

And Zita and I put in up all by ourselves.

Mister Paul did not have to help us. Ha. 

Then I went in our den and had my afternoon nap. 

When Zita went to our little hardware store, I stayed here and helped Craig have a relax.

Then I went outside to visit my friends the birds. They are very nice birds.

Day Two Thousand and Thirty Seven

​Miss Pancake 

We went to the farm today, and it was not full up with blowing snow.

So I could run far away, and I could still see Zita. Ha. Good for us.

My friend Niamh came here to visit me at lunchtime. That was a very good idea.

Because we are best friends.

Craig got up early today.

Because it was his bathtub day. Ha.

Auntie Eileen called us, because she went to a class.

And they showed her how to fix everything in her house. My goodness.

And that class was a present from us. 

Because it was her happy birthday present. 

She had a very good time fixing everything.

Even holes in a wall. 

That was a good present. Ha. 

I reminded Craig about my lunch time when he was all squeaky clean.

Then Zita and Niamh went out in the fast car to do some together shopping.

Craig and I stayed in our house. 

I had a relax. 

Craig just listed to some of his quiet music. 

And moved some books in the den. 

There is going to be a party tonight at Jamie’s cousin’s restaurant.

Because it is Tarryn sing happy birthday party day. 

Niamh got lots of big balloons. 

And everybody will have cakes. My goodness.

After our dinner we found a brand new detective program.

Day Two Thousand and Thirty Seven

​Miss Pancake 

We had a little sleep in this morning.

But when we were awake, it was snowing again. 

Zita said that it is silly weather.

But we were very brave, and the fast car took us right to our farm.

And there was not even one other dog there. 

Because they are not so very brave as we are. Too bad for them. 

But I did not go for such long run arounds today.

Because sometimes I could not see Zita in the all the time blowing snow. 

And I did not want her to get lost. 

So I stayed not a bit far away. Ha.

When we got home we had a nice relax and Zita talked to her own sister.

It was not snowing at all in Ireland. 

Then we made a giant pot of delicious chillies. 

And cooked it in the special very very heavy pot, in the oven. My goodness.

That will be very good chillies. 

Chillies are Craig favourite. 

And sometimes we even have those special for chillies muffins too. 

And we even had them tonight too. Goodness gracious me. 

When Craig was all up and dressed, his T-shirt was on inside out.

Because I was too busy to help him today. Too bad for him.

Maybe he is getting very old. Maybe.

When Craig had his coffees this morning, we did not have even one of Mister IKEA’s cookies.

Because we had one of Mister IKEA’s tasty cinnamon buns instead. Ha. 

Tonight is Niamh’s beautiful dancing class. 

So she came her to get ready, and the fast car took her to downtown.

Because of the way too fast windy snow. 

She was helping Tarryn at the beautiful shop this afternoon.

Maybe because of Tarryn’s happy birthday. Maybe.

I think we will watch our detectives program tonight. 

After we take Niamh to her apartment. 

Day Two Thousand and Thirty Six

Miss Pancake 

​I was very busy today.

When there was sunshine everywhere I had to go and get Zita all awake. That is my best job.

So we had a very nice breakfast, but when I went outside there was even more silly snow.

There was not a whole bunch of that too much snow, but we had to clean the fast car before we went to find Niamh.

So she could have her important meetings. 

Maybe they were with Mister Nelson and his very nice dog. Maybe.

After Zita and I had our good morning all around here walk we went back home.

So Zita could finish painting our office all by herself.

Because Tarryn was not here today.

She was very busy at the beautiful shop. 

And today is her own sing happy birthday day. My goodness.

Now our office is as beautiful as could be, but it is still all empty. 

Craig had a bit of a sleep in, because of his brand new book. 

I minded Niamh all afternoon in our basement.

Because she was very very busy.

Craig and Zita had cheesie toasties for dinner.

I got a very big piece.

After dinner Zita and Niamh went to the grocery store.

So Tyler would not starve all away.

When the car was full up Zita took Niamh to the apartment. 

I minded Craig. And had a relax on my comfy rug, in the living room, with Craig. 

Day Two Thousand and Thirty Five

Miss Pancake 

It was not so very snowy today, but it was too cold to go to our farm. 

So we went for a very early around our favourite streets walk.

Then we went and got Niamh.

When we got home Tarryn was here.

So all made very big pancakes and even some very delicious sausages too.

For our together breakfast. Ha.

And we made some especially delicious little ones for me.

Then Zita and Tarryn went into the office to do even more paintings.

I went downstairs so I could be Niamh’s best helper and to have a nice relax. On her comfy bed.

Craig had a sleep in, because he had to finish his interesting book,

But when he had his coffees he had some of my pancakes too. 

I did not mind sharing.

Because he remembered my own lunchtime. Ha. 

Then I went downstairs for my next afternoon nap.

Miss Jennifer came here for a visit, and to look at our beautiful office.

And she talked to Craig too.

Craig was only a bit very busy moving books this afternoon. 

We had fluffy eggs and toasts, with sausages.

Craig gave me a very delicious bit of sausage. 

But we did not tell Zita. 

Because of that dinning room rule. 

So it was a secret treat. Ha. 

Then Zita and the fast car took Niamh to the hard questions restaurant.

And when she got home it was our detective time. 

That is alway a good time for my on our bed relax. 

Day Two Thousand and Thirty Four

​Miss Pancakes 

My goodness gracious me, what a morning we had.

There was even more way too much snow today.

And we could not even see our own pond.

But after our breakfasts it was all beautiful and the sky was just sunshine.

So we went to our farm right away.

But when we got there they had a snowstorm, right there at our farm. My goodness.

And it was so very windy I could not hear Zita, so I had to find her all the time.

But it was not too hard, because my nose could always find her. Ha. Good for me.

None of my friends were there.

Because Zita said they were smart. 

So we went home before the fast car was all covered up with that snow.

Miss Alexa told us that lots and lots of our houses did not have any lights at all, even a hospital. Oh dear.

When we got home Niamh was all awake and working very hard, in the basement.

Because the upstairs office is nearly empty, so there is nearly only new paint.

So I went downstairs to be her best helper. 

When Craig was all dressed he had some of Mister IKEA’s very tasty from oatmeal cookies. Ha.

Zita could not have any because she was way too busy being the painter. Ha.

A mouse tried to visit us, but Zita pushed it away. Ha.

Niamh and Tyler are going out tonight, to a nice restaurant.

Because it is that Mister Saint Patrick’s day.

Day Two Thousand and Thirty Seven

Miss Pancake 

​My goodness me. It was an all melted day today.

Because it was so very messy outside, we did not go for our after breakfast exercises.

So we started to do even more painting in our office.

And then Tarryn came for her coffees and to help Zita do the beautiful painting.

I went in the den and had my nap.

Because there was nobody painting in the den. Ha.

When I had my lunch Zita and Tarryn were even painting the ceiling in our den. 

But they did not paint the lights. 

When Craig got up he made coffees for everybody and then he had a cinnamon bun.

But everybody else had vegetables. 

Because all that paint had to be left alone for a long time, Zita and I went for a very long around here walk. 

Then Niamh came here and said it was just the very best time to visit Mister IKEA’s shop.

So the fast car took them right there.

And Tarryn went in the giant car to find Mister Jamie at the aeroport. 

He and all his brothers were skiing in far away mountains. But now he is back.

Tomorrow is the day that lots of people think they are from Ireland. 

But they are not. My goodness.

Zita and Emmet and Niamh are, because they have little red books with their pictures inside. 

All the Badgers are wearing their very best dresses and all their medals. And their Scotsman’s hats.

So nobody would think that they were pretend Irishmen. 

Craig does not have a Scotsman’s dress, but his father did. 

I think Emmet will be very busy teaching all those students that Mister Saint Patrick was not Irish either. 

Craig said those old stories are very confusing.

That is why we have professors, like my friend Emmet who can tell the true stories. Ha. Good for us. 

Maybe Mister Saint Patrick chopped off people’s heads. 

Like Emmet’s very very old friends in his stories. Maybe. 

Zita and Niamh did not come home until it was nearly my bedtime.

But they brought delicious dinners from Mister McDonald’s with them. 

So I did not mind.

Because I got some chips. Ha. 

Day Two Thousand and Thirty Two

Miss Pancake 

​It was the most very beautiful morning ever.

I saw all my friends the birds, and when I came in my breakfast was all ready. My goodness.

And after a very little bit of time the fast car took us to our farm.

It was so beautiful that we stayed for a very very long time.

But we had to go home, because Niamh and Tarryn came over to do more move packing.

And after we were home and all cosy Sach came here to help. Ha.

So Zita and I made them lunchtime treats.

And then Zita went into the den with lots of paints.

And a long painting stick. 

I could not help. 

Because I am not so very tall.

So I went downstairs to be a big help there. 

When Craig was all dressed, he asked if I had my lunch, and everybody said no.

I was so busy being a big help I forgot too.

But Craig did not forget. And Zita found some lovely cheese. Ha.

And when he had his coffees he had croissants too. And I got all the tasty crumbs. 

But when we looked out the windows it was not even a bit beautiful.

Because it was hard snowing again. Oh dear. 

Then Niamh and Tarryn and Sach got in Tarryn’s giant car and went to do some important things.

And Zita was busy doing the painting, so it was time for my afternoon relax. In our den. All by myself. Ha.

Craig moved some books around and some of his little fast cars into a bookcase.

So now it is a bookcase garage. Ha.

Zita and the fast car went as fast as could be to the paint store. 

Because it was nearly very closed.

But they got there just right. 

Because our fast car is very fast. Ha.

And now Zita can start painting as soon as we have had our breakfasts. 

We had some more of our very delicious Merry Christmas pie full of meats. Ha.

Then we watched a brand new detective program. 

Day Two Thousand and Thirty

​Miss Pancake 

We were up very late last night. 

Because we had very tasty desserts.

And everybody was talking about the very very delicious wines Kathy found in their basement.

It was Richard’s best wines, but he was in far away. So he did not know. Too bad for him.

But when I went into my side yard this morning, there was brand new snow everywhere.

And it was not even just a little snow, it was even more way too much snow. Oh dear.

But almost right away Tarryn came here for her coffees, and to help Zita.

They fixed all the walls in our, office so we can paint them, and then they will be beautiful again.

When Craig was awake as could be, he had his coffee and a cinnamon bun. Ha.

But then Zita and Tarryn took Jamie’s giant car and got a bookshelf. 

It was from the nice people who gave Niamh the round and round table for books.

And it was was for not any money at all. My goodness.

So they put it in our office. 

Then it was go to the farm time for Zita and me. Ha.

So I helped take all the snow off the fast car. That is a good job for me.

When we were at our farm we played catch the snowballs. That is a hard game. 

We saw some other dogs but I did not know them.

And when we got home I had to have a little bath.

Because all that snow was stuck on me. Oh well.

Before dinnertime Zita went to Niamh’s apartment.

To give them the way too much food from last night’s party.

And Niamh took her for a visit to the whole very big apartment.

When Zita got home we had a just us for dinnertime dinner tonight. 

And we had our very delicious pie from Merry Christmas time.

Because it was all frozen for us. Ha. 

Day Two Thousand and Twenty Nine

​Miss Pancake 

It was still not so warm today, but the fast car wanted to have some exercises.

So Zita and I went with it to our farm.

And we went very fast.

But nobody caught us. Ha. 

Zita said it was because Uncle Bill was watching out for us. That is a good idea. 

The car was very very happy.

We had a very long time at our farm and I was a very fast running dog.

But then a man with lots of dogs came.

And we did not know even one of them, so we went home.

And when we got home Zita remembered it was a clean the house day. Oh well.

So I went downstairs and had a very nice relax.

Then my friend Niamh came here.

Because she had to get all ready for her beautiful dancing class. 

And she helped Zita and I clean the wall in our office, so we can paint it beautiful. 

Craig had a sleep in, because he was a bit sore.

And when he got up I remembered that I had not had even one bit of lunch.

Because Craig always gets me my lunch. That is why I remembered. 

So I was a bit too hungry.

But Craig put three big pieces of that very delicious from Italy cheese on top. 

Then I was all full up. 

Our friend Kathy had dinner with us. 

And she brought her own made dinner for us. And Mister Kirian too. Ha. 

But we did not watch our detectives, because we were up until way past our real bedtime. 

Day Two Thousand and Twenty Eight

We had a very little bit of snow when I was asleep.

And the sidewalks were way way too slippy, so we did not go for a walk.

So we went in the car to get Niamh, and later Niamh and I went and found Dina.

All our cars are tired of the lots of snow. Me too.

Zita talked to Martha, the very nice garage lady, so the fast car can get it very fast tires on. Ha. 

This morning I was busy minding our office.

Zita went out and had coffees with her old university professor. My goodness.

When she came back Craig was all dressed and had a very tasty cinnamon bun with his coffee.

But then I went back into our office to mind everything.

Zita went to our nice grocery store, but I did not go, because I was too busy. 

Craig was busy too, moving more books. 

When Zita got home she moved books too.

We had breakfast bagels, but we had them for our dinner. Ha. 

Because we are all grown up, and can do that all by ourselves. Ha. 

I got some bacons too. 

Then Zita took Niamh and Dina out to do errands.

Because tomorrow Dina in going on an aeroplane. 

And she will be on it for over a brand new day. My goodness me.

I would not like to do that. 

They do not have comfy beds on aeroplanes. 

We watched more of our detective program when Zita got home. 

Day Two Thousand and Twenty Seven

Miss Pancake 

​It was too rainy to go to the farm today.

So we went for a very early in the morning walk. 

And I did not even wear my do not get soggy coat.

So when we got home Zita and I made our very famous and delicious peaches dessert.

Because today Dina and Tarryn came here to work with Niamh.

So I guarded them right in the office.

They all had some of our desserts.

And when Craig was all dressed and finished his coffee, I cleaned his dessert bowl.

And it was so clean that I do not think it has to go into the cleaning machine. Ha. Good for me.

After lunchtime Craig moved more books and I had my afternoon nap in our office. 

While I was minding our office, Tarryn took Zita to Mister Mike’s in the giant car.

So Zita could bring the fast car home to my house. 

We had a together dinner tonight.

Because Niamh and Tarryn and Dina were here. And we had lasagnas. 

Then they all went to the hard questions restaurant.

And they took Mister Kirian too. Ha.

But we watched our very good detectives program. 

Day Two Thousand and Twenty Six

Miss Pancake 

​We had another busy as can be day.

After our breakfast and a very nice visit to our farm, there was even more no more snow today.

When we got too dirty we got Niamh and brought her home.

Because of all her meetings with the far far away people.

So I minded her while Zita went to Mister IKEA’s store with Susan.

Because we had to find new dirty feet rugs for our doors.

And when Zita got home she brought those tasty cinnamon buns too. Ha.

So when Craig had his coffee he had a cinnamon bun too. 

But I had to help him. 

Then Mister Kirian came to borrow the fast car.

Because the no noise car got all stuck on top of some ice and a take your car away truck came to help him.

But Zita told him that he was silly, because he did not telephone us. Oh dear.

So Zita made him promise on his heart to call us when he should. 

But now Kiran and Kathy are going to a bit far away place where the car is waiting for them.

But he had some coffees with us first. That was a good idea. 

Then Niamh had more meetings and Craig moved more books. 

I had my afternoon noon nap in our office with my friend Niamh.

But when Mister Clifford took Zita to do some errands I minded Craig in the living room.

And I helped him move even more of those books. Good for us. 

We had hamburgers for our dinner tonight. 

I got a very nice piece. And there was cheese on it. 

After dinner Zita took the fast car to Mister Mike’s. 

Because the turn on everything key got all stuck in the car. 

So we did not have detective time tonight. Oh well. 

Day Two Thousand and Twenty Five

​Miss Pancake 

My goodness me.

We had another day of move everything all over. 

I do not like those days so much.

But my friend Tarryn came here to help. And have cakes and coffees too.

But they took my very comfy sofa out of our office. 

Because maybe Niamh will need it at her apartment.

And we are going to paint the office so it will be beautiful again. 

And when Craig was all dressed Zita and Niamh and Tarryn and I were having a living room relax.

And when he had his coffee I helped him with his cake.

So he would not leave messy crumbs all over the living room.

Then Niamh went to another important meeting

So Zita and Tarryn and I went to do more basement tidying. 

And Craig moved more of our everywhere books.

We were all very busy today. 

When Niamh’s important meeting was over we over the very big bookshelf upstairs.

And after a little rest, we put it in the den. 

It was so sunny outside that some people did not have coats on.

And Craig and I saw a little noisy car without a roof. My goodness me. 

After the bookshelf was in the den Niamh and Tarryn went out in Tarryn’s giant car.

So our fast car took Zita and I to our farm, because it was still a beautiful as could be sunshiny day.

And when we got there lots and lots of our snow was just gone away.

And it was everywhere yesterday. But not today. 

Because of that sunshine.

Goodness me.

And I found a stick. Ha. It was a very good stick.

But I had to have a little bath when I got home.

Because I was a bit too very messy. Oh well.

Then Zita went to the busy street to get diner.

Because we were so busy today that we were too tired to be cooks.

So Zita had a delicious bagel from Mister Kettleman’s store. 

And it had salmons all over it. And onions too. 

And the nice brothers made Craig a tasty giant rollup.

Then we put more books in boxes before we went to watch our detectives. 

In our comfy bed. 

Day Two Thousand and Twenty Four

Miss Pancake 

​We had a little sleep in this morning. Because all clocks were different. I do not like that.

When I went outside to talk to my friends the birds, it was not a bit cold. Ha.

Zita and I went and brought Niamh back to my house.

Then Zita and Niamh and I went downstairs.

Because Niamh is going to pack up all her stuff, so she can live in Tyler’s apartment.

And then it will be Niamh’s and Tyler’s apartment instead. Ha.

But not right away.

Because Niamh has lots and lots of stuff. 

And sometimes she has too much of stuff.

My friend Tarryn came here for her coffee. 

And to help Niamh and Zita.

When Craig had his coffee he had some of that brand new delicious cake. I had a little bit.

Then I went back downstairs to be a helper. 

Then the fast car took Zita and Niamh and big boxes to her almost apartment. My goodness.

I stayed here to mind Craig with all the lots of books. 

When Zita got home we went for a very nice long around everywhere walk.

And when we got home it was my dinnertime. Ha. 

Day Two Thousand and Twenty Three

Miss Pancake 

I had to mind my house nearly all day, because Zita and Jennifer were outside moving everything.

Because it was an all the time melting day. 

So we put on a giant hose to take all the water away, and put it on the street.

But it took a very long time.

And I could not be anybody’s helper.

I did not like that so much.

After Craig got up he helped me look out the watching window.

And as soon as Zita came in Mister Tyler came here for a visit.

And Miss Jennifer brought us a very delicious cake. In a box. Ha.

Because Zita was a very good helper. 

So Craig and Zita and Tyler and I have some of that cake.

Niamh could not have any, because she and Tarryn were at Miss Irene’s restaurant.

Too bad for them.

When Mister Tyler went home Zita and I went in the car. 

When we got home I was very wet. And so was Zita. Oh well.

When we were out Craig moved books around, and put some in our short bookcase.

Bookshelves do not have doors, but our bookcases have doors, Craig told me. Ha.

We had giant meatballs for dinner. Not Mister IKEA’s small ones. 

They were our own made giant ones. With squished up potatoes. And butter.

Then it was detective time for us. 

Day Two Thousand and Twenty Two

​Miss Pancake 

After breakfasts we did not go to our farm, because we went to the very special garden.

It is the one where people walk in the summertime and look at the very beautiful flowers.

Our friend Colonel George is there too. 

But nobody can see him. Because is a secret. Ha,

When we got home Zita went out to do important errands without me.

And she was even still gone when Craig was all dressed.

So I was very very glad to see her again. 

Then I got my lunch before I was all starved away.

But when Craig had his coffees I got some of the extra muffin.

Then Zita and I went and got Niamh so she could get all dressed for her beautiful dancing class.

The fast car took her there.

Then Craig and Zita moved too many things. 

And put them in boxes.

They took the lovely big book shelves from the den and put them where the small bookshelves were.

And all the books too.

And they put them where little bookshelves underneath that picture.

I did not like that so very much. 

Because I like things to be where I know they are. 

Not somewhere else.

But Craig told me everything was all right, and so did Zita.

So I got into my watching chair, so I could watch. 

I did not go in any of those boxes.Ha. 

We had bacons for our dinner. Ha. I got to clean a plate.

We did not see my friend Emmet at that very old university last night.

And now Emmet is back in his Cork apartment with Alice. 

But we will watch the detectives anyway. 

Day Two Thousand and Twenty One

Miss Pancake 

​We were very busy again today.

Right after my breakfast Zita and I went downtown to get Niamh. The fast car took us. 

Then when we got home Zita went for her breakfast with Susan and Chris. 

So I minded Niamh in our office. 

She was talking to our friend Erin, in the far away mountains. 

Then Craig was all dressed, and it was not even nearly lunchtime.

Because today was the day that my friend Emmet told the cutting of heads story. 

At that very very very old university. 

And we all saw him right on our computers. 

And we heard him too. My goodness me.

When Craig was watching, he had his coffees and his muffin. 

They are very delicious muffins. Especially the lots of crumbs. 

Last night Craig put all the very many extra books into piles.

Because some of the books are way too interesting to give away. 

Especially the ones with beautiful pictures. They are my favourites. 

But now we have to find more places for them. Oh well. 

When Emmet was all finished answering questions it was my lunchtime. 

And Craig had a croissant for his lunch. Croissants have lots of crumbs.

That is why they are my favourites.

Niamh showed all her work friends the very very old machine.

It is so old that an important museum has one. 

But it is not so nice as hers. Ha.

Then Zita and I went to the farm.

I did not have to wear my coat, but I had my friend Poppy’s harness.

Because it is way more comfy than my other one. And it is red. Ha. 

We had a very good time at our farm. We always have a good time at our farm.

Except when there are summertime nasty bugs there. 

When Zita and Niamh had finished their work, they went to a lovely store.

And that store has lots and lots of different own made pastas. And all the people only talk Italian.

Like Mister Tony. Ha.

So they bought enough for everybody. Ha.

Our new detective works in the very same old as can be university, where Emmet was today. 

Maybe Emmet will see that detective. Maybe.

Maybe we will see Emmet on our television tonight. Ha. 

That would be a good idea. 

Day Two Thousand and Twenty

Miss Pancake 

​I had a very lovely quiet day today.

And outside some people were not even wearing coats at all.

Because today was a melt the snow day. 

But it was a bit messy.

After our walk around my favourite streets I was a bit messy. Oh well. 

Zita and I cooked brand new croissants.

Because today was the day that Tarryn and Lee come here to do their work with Niamh.

And have coffees with the croissants.

Craig had a big sleep in, because his book was very interesting and he nearly forgot to get all dressed.

But when he was all dressed he remembered my lunchtime.

Craig always remembers my lunchtimes, even when everybody else forgets.

That is because we are best buddies. Ha.

And when he had his coffees, I got a crunchy croissant end, just for me.

And all those crumbs too. 

The present man brought Craig some brand new lovely soft pants. 

Soft pants are very comfortable, just like his T-shirts. 

But not so very beautiful, like Zita and Niamh’s clothes. 

My friend Emmet has a very very beautiful very old down to his feet’s coat. 

It was a Merry Christmas secret present. Ha. 

We had an early dinner today, because it was the hard questions restaurant night for Niamh and Tarryn. 

So we had an everybody together for soup night. 

Then we watched a different new detective, because the other one was not so very interesting.

Day Two Thousand and Nineteen

Miss Pancake 

​I had a very good day today.

After our breakfast we were all ready to my farm and so was Niamh.

So the fast car took Zita and Niamh and I to the farm. Ha.

So today Niamh could see my very fast running on ice. Ha.

And it was not even cold today.

But we had to go home, because of all of Niamh’s important work.

Last night when Niamh came home from the movies the fast car was almost eaten up my a giant snow eating machine. My goodness.

She told us that she did not know that they were so very very big. 

But the fast car took her away just like that. So they were not chopped up.

But when she got right into our driveway there was the front of another car. 

And it was right on the ground on my corner. But there was no car anywhere. My goodness me.

After Craig had his squeaky shower he got me my lunch. So I came upstairs. 

Then when he had his coffee he had his tasty blueberries muffin. 

But I was not all full up to the top, so I helped him. 

Very soon, a do not get lost aeroplane takes my friend Emmet to that very very old university in England.

That one in Oxford. With all the pointy roofs 

Because they asked him to tell their students his story all about chopping off people’s heads in long time ago Ireland. 

Everybody likes that story. Me too.

And we can even watch it on our computers. Emmet told me so. Ha.

But Poppy’s favourites were Emmet’s stories about the mountain climbing elephants. Ha.

Today some silly person bumped into Auntie Eileen’s little car. 

But it is still alright. Just a bit of a sore bottom. 

Mister Tony’s friend brought us a very delicious pizza for our dinner.

So Niamh would not be hungry when she went to her round and round dancing. 

Craig had to find a brand new detective program for us. 

But that is his best job. 

Day Two Thousand and Eighteen

Miss Pancake 

​I had another busy day.

We got up early to take Niamh to an important appointment.

Then Zita and I went to the farm. And it was very very cold. 

So all the soft snow was as hard as a big stone. We did not like that so very much.

But we had a very lovely together time, just Zita and me.

When we got home the fast car took Niamh downtown.

Because she had her lunch with Tarryn and Sach. 

Craig got up very early today. 

Even before my lunchtime.

Because Mister Joe came to put better stoppers on the fast chair. That is a good idea.

And when he was here Niamh and Tarryn came home.

Because Niamh’s work needed her.  And it was her own holiday too. 

So I went downstairs to be her best ever helper. 

Then Craig remembered my lunch, and I got some cheese from Wales.

But it was not from dragons cheese. Just cows cheese. 

When Craig had his coffee he had a very delicious muffin. 

And because I was all finished my lunch I could help him, with that muffin.

Then Zita put lots and lots of Craig’s books on the dining room table.

They were all hiding in Emmet’s old bedroom.

My goodness me, there were lots of them. And then Zita found even more.

So Craig told me that we need more nice places for our lovely books.

Not just mountains on the floor. 

We even found two books with pictures of Uncle Joe, when he was very dangerous.

But he was only dangerous in Ireland Zita said. So it was alright.

We had tortellinis soup for our dinner.

I helped Zita with the cheese. That is a good job for me.

Tarryn had her dinner here. Because of the tortellinis. Ha. 

The take the too much snow away signs are on my street.

So those very noisy giant machines will be here soon. Oh well. 

Day Two Thousand and Seventeen

Miss Pancake 

​It was too cold this morning to go to my farm.

And then Professor Jill called Zita, because Mister Willy had to go to his doctor.

Because he had a sick tummy.

So I went to guard Niamh and Lee and Cara at Lee’s house. 

That is a very hard job, because it is not my hose, and I have look everywhere all the time.

And when I went home Zita was back and Craig was all dressed and having his coffees.

But he stopped right away when I told him I had not had my lunch at the other house.

But then he had a very nice scone, and I helped him clean up.

Then Zita took Susan to take extra clothes to that for free store.

For people with not enough clothes. That was a good idea. 

Because it was very cold today.

Today is Mister Saint David’s Day. That is the day for all the dragons in far away Wales.

So they have leeks soups and they cook it with their very own from the inside fire.

Our dragons, Mister General Rhome Clay and Mister T’er Ceri had delicious rollups from China instead. 

Because there are dragons there too. 

But they are long dragons, not tall dragons. My goodness me. 

This afternoon Craig and I had a very nice together relax. 

Because we were the only ones here, so it was nice and quiet. 

Then Zita took Niamh to Tyler’s.

They were going out for a very delicious at a restaurant dinner.

But it was not open today. Oh dear. 

Maybe they will have peanut butter sandwiches. 

That is what Craig has when he does not know what to eat. Too bad for him.

Maybe we can watch those detective ladies on the television tonight. 

Craig says we cannot watch the news.

Because just now nobody knows the truth, but the television keeps talking anyway.

Cousin Mórag and the dogs all got to France, so now they are in a little castle that belongs to Auntie Eliseabeth’s friend.  

Because not all nice hotels have room for lots and lots of very big dogs. 

But castles always have lots of room. That is why they are castles. It is known.
