Day One Thousand and Ninety Eight

Miss Pancake 

Yesterday I minded my friend Craig when he had his stretches. 

Because sometimes this stretches make you too sore.

So I had to be there to be his best nurse, 

But when Miss Janet was gone he was very tired, so I got up on the bed right beside him. 

And just like that we both went to fast asleep. My goodness. 

And when we were awake it was dinnertime, and we had a bedtime picnic before we watched our detectives.

This morning when I went outside it was all smelly, because of those smelly skunks.

And when we went for our walk we saw that skunk.

So we ran across the street, because it was all ready to make us all smelly too. But we got away. Ha. 

Then we found Miss Bethany and we had a very long and all over together walk. 

But when we got home we were all soggy. 

So I had to have a real bath in the bathtub with smelly shampoos. 

But then I smelled so beautiful that Craig got up to help me get all dry. 

Then Niamh came here to borrow the car to do some important things.

Last night Niamh and Tyler and Tarryn and Jamie went to a late at night movie.

And everyone had to get all dressed, just like those people in that movie. My goodness me.

Tonight is when all the little children get all dressed to be as scary as can be. 

And they will come to my house so I can see them, and we will give them treats. 

Far away Ireland invented this day, a very very long time ago, when everybody just stole cows all the time.

And they say that is the day all fairies come to visit. So you have leave tasty treats for them. 

We do not have those fairies here, we have fierce bears, and giant moose instead.

But you should not leave tasty treats for those bears, because they will get too chubbley.

We are way too far away for those fairies to fly here. It is known.

My friend Colonel Dugal is very busy today, and he is in Scotland, because it is the day to be off to Tigh nam Bodach to move the Cailleach and her children into their wee stone house for the winter.

Mister Lochlainn is going to be his helper.

I think all of Cousin Mórag’s giant deer dogs will be there too.

So I think they will run all over until they are too too dirty. Ha.

Festis and Furrgus stayed right here to help us with the scary children.

I do not know if children go to their castle for treats.

They told me that they have their very own ghosts in the castle. My goodness.

But they are not so scary because they all have to wear raincoats.

Because of the not so many roofs in the castle.

Cook says on full moons she always sees that old Aonghas MacDhòmhnaill, sitting on the far rocks. Oh dear.

He cannot go in the castle because of the curse. My goodness.

Niamh went to the lovely shop to help Tarryn get the shop all ready for the Merry Christmas time.

There was something scary in our garden last night, I think it was lion, or an elephant.

So I ran into the bedroom to tell Craig and Zita, and they said I should just go to fast asleep, right beside both of them.

So I could guard them both at the same time. That was a good idea.

So I did.

And this morning they was not one elephant there at all. That is good.

Day One Thousand and Ninety Seven

My goodness I forgot to tell Craig that I have a big adventure yesterday.

Because yesterday when Craig was fast asleep, the fast car took Zita and me to Mister Valley’s wonderful store.

My goodness me. It is a full of everything interesting store.

And they were getting ready for Merry Christmas time. Ha.

And the very nice lady gave me a giant treat, because I was sitting very politely.

You cannot have treats until you are a very polite dog. It is the rule.

Today was not such a lovely day, because it was just all the time nasty rain.

So Zita and I had a together relax in the living room.

Craig only had a very little sleep in today, because Miss Janet is coming here to do the stretching.

But when here had his good morning coffee he had one of the very delicious for chillies muffins.

And I got a big piece and all the crumbs too. Ha.

I stayed in the living room with Craig when Zita found the noisy cleaning the floors machine.

We listened to quiet music.

Then before Miss Janet got to my house Zita and I went to the nice little hardware store.

I always get tasty treats at that store, because I am their favourite polite dog.

Then I was very very busy, because Miss Janet came to do the stretching exercises.

So I had to stay in the bed room to guard Craig. Just in case.

Day One Thousand and Ninety Six

Zita and I could not sleep so very well last night, so we went into the living room to look out the watching window.

Then we fell asleep bit asleep, until it was our breakfast time.

After our breakfast we went for a nice walk.

But we had to be careful with our feet’s, because the nice men were fixing the road.

And my lady friend with the sign said hello to us.

It is too cold today to go outside if you do not have your toasty warm coat on.

My friend Tarryn came here when we got home. To write another story for her university.

So Tarryn and Niamh were very busy in our office, so I minded them.

Then we had a party.

Because our friend Andrea came to visit us.

She is home from fixing people way up north.

She said she did not even see one scary bear. That is good.

We had some lovely cheeses and some crackers and other tasty things.

And Andrea brought a big box of Miss Susie’s extremely delicious doughnuts. My goodness.

So Craig got up right away, and had doughnuts with his coffees.

Then everybody talked about Andrea’s adventures in all the little towns way up north.

They do not have enough doctors way up there,

So doctors have an aeroplane that takes them up there. And brings them home too.

And if people get way too sick, they have aeroplane ambulances. My goodness me.

Then Niamh and Tarryn were all full up, so they went back to their work and I had my nap.

Craig and Zita and Andrea were still talking, but I was fast asleep.

And when I woke up Andrea was gone. Maybe to her big hospital.

Tonight is the hard questions restaurant night for Niamh and her friends.

But they had dinner here, do we had a together dinner. Ha.

Then we watched our detective program.

Day One Thousand and Ninety Five

Miss Pancake

I had a very soft morning, because I was on the comfy sofa in the office so I could mind Niamh.

I did not have to help Zita, because she was at her stretching doctor.

When she got home we went for a very long walk, but not anywhere busy. Just around here.

I helped Zita make our famous chillies, and lots of only for the chillies muffins.

Then Niamh had to go out and find things for the scary night.

Because she has to go to three scary nights parties. My goodness me.

We have a scary giant ghost, but dogs are not even a bit afraid of ghosts. Ha. Too bad for them.

My friends Festis and Furrgus’s have ghosts in their in Scotland castle.

But only in the parts that do not have even a bit of roof.

They do not go into the other parts of the castle.

Because Cousin Mórag always keeps those giant fireplaces on.

And those ghosts are afraid that their scary sheets might get all on fire.

Then they would be all gone. too bad for them.

Mister Lochlainn says that Festis and Furrgus are better at making ghosts than anyone he knows.

But Festis and Furrgus did not make their castle’s ghosts.

Colonel Dugal said they were just leftovers ghosts from the siege of ‘45.

Zita got some very big boxes of tasty treats for the little children,

Because they come to our house to show us their scary clothes.

My goodness me, that is a fun night for us.

When Craig got awake we had a together lunchtime.

We had toasty croissants with all over butter.

Then Zita went for coffee with some lady friends, so I stayed her to mind Craig and Niamh.

Then Tarryn came here to have chillies with us.

But then Niamh and Tarryn went to their round the pole dancing, so Craig and Zita and I went to bed.

So we would be all comfy as could be when we watched our detective program.

Day One Thousand and Ninety Four

My goodness what a busy day we had.

Last night Zita and I went and brought my friend Niamh back to my house.

Then we talked, but I went to fast asleep and when I was all awake it was bedtime.

And this morning I was very busy helping Niamh.

And Craig did not have a sleep in today, so I got my lunch early.

And after lunch Mister Joe came with a different go fast chair.

But it was not Craig’s brand new go fast chair.

It was a see if it was nice chair for my friend Craig.

So Craig got in this chair.

But I was having a concern.

So I went in the bedroom and stood right in front of Craig.

Because this was not our nice go fast chair, it was a strange go fast chair.

And maybe it would just tip over and squish Craig.

So I stayed right with Craig, to be his very best fierce minder dog.

When Craig got in that chair Mister Joe measured every thing everywhere.

And wrote in all down on pieces of paper.

And now Craig’s brand new chair will be as orange as could be.

When Mister Joe was gone away it was time for more coffees.

And we had two toasty warm croissants.

Then I had to be Niamh’s office helper.

Zita went outside to do a neat and tidy in our garden.

Because that winter will soon find us.

And Zita washed all those pots for our beautiful flowers. My goodness.

Last night we were a bit cold, so today she got the warm as could be duvet for our bedroom.

Now we will not be even a bit chilly. Ha.

Day One Thousand and Ninety Three

Miss Pancake

It was all beautiful outside today, and there was a lot of my favourite sunshine too.

We did not go for our good morning walk, because we had to clean our refrigerator.

Because it was full up with way too old food.

And if you ate that food maybe you would just be dead.

That is why we cleaned it.

And Craig was all dressed before my lunchtime, so I got my lunch early. Ha.

This morning Zita talked with her Nana and Grandad. And they were alright too.

Then I had to help Craig with his brand new croissant.

When we were finished it was just the right time for my afternoon walk about.

Zita thought so too, so we had a very long all over walk.

We did not see my friend the giant bird today.

Maybe it was having a relax with it’s friends.

When we got back put another croissant in Craig’s new cooking machine.

We got it for him at Merry Christmas time. It was a secret present.

And then we had two toasty warm croissants.

That Merry Christmas time is going to come to my house again.

I know that because that nice Mister Valley sent us his book of wonderful secret presents. My goodness gracious me.

Zita and the fast car went out to do some very important food shopping.

So they would not starve away.

Mister Aidan came here to borrow a fix your house machine.

I do not know why. Maybe he broke his house. Maybe.

Craig could not find me this afternoon, because I was having my before dinner nap outside.

When Zita got home we made a delicious soup with lots of cheese and some vegetables.

And then it was our detective bedtime.

One Thousand and Ninety Two

Miss Pancake

This morning Zita and I had a very lovely living room relax.

And when Niamh and Erin came upstairs, we had a together breakfast.

Then Niamh and the fast car took Erin for some adventure shopping.

I stayed here to take care of Craig and Zita.

Yesterday Craig went into the bedroom, to listen to his new book with me.

But he fell to fast fast asleep.

I kept him cosy warm, until I had to be Zita’s helper.

And he did not wake up until Zita brought him some tasty toasts with jams for dinner.

So he did not have a sleep in this morning.

Because he was not way too tired this morning.

After I had my lunch Zita and I went for a long walk.

It was not too cold but Zita’s hand got a bit too cold and then we went home.

Yesterday when we had our all over walk I saw my friend the giant bird. My goodness me.

I think it was looking for its dinner.

When Niamh and Erin got home they had lots and lots of clothes that other people did not want.

Maybe those people got too chubby, because they were small clothes. Ha.

Then Niamh and Erin went downstairs to get Erin already for her aeroplane trip back to far far away.

Miss Tarryn came over to be a big help and say goodbye to Erin.

Then Niamh and Tarryn took Erin to the aeroport, and then she left Taryn at Mister Jamie’s apartment.

When she was back here she got all her stuff, and Zita and I took her to Mister Tyler’s apartment.

And we got home our stove had cooked the dinner so we could have it right away.

That is a good stove. Ha.

Day One Thousand and Ninety One

I had a very quiet morning, because everyone was very busy.

Niamh and Erin had an important downtown meeting. And it was very early too.

And Zita had lunch with her old rascal ladies friends.

And Craig did not have a sleep in, not even a little one.

Then he had his coffees and I helped him with that muffin, and then it was my own lunch time.

It was not so warm today, so Craig got that basement machine to make the house toasty warm.

Then it was time for my afternoon nap. Ha.

And Craig came with me, so we had a together nap.

Day One Thousand and Ninety

I was busy again today.

Because Niamh and Tarryn and Erin were all here working, so I had to mind them and Zita too.

Craig was in the comfy bed listening to his new book so I did not have to mind him so much.

A man came to look at a get into the bathtub machine for Craig. My goodness.

We only a little walks today because it was a not so nice rainy day outside.

This afternoon Zita went to her meeting with her gramma Betty friends.

They were at Bethany’s house. That house is not even a little bit far away.

Tonight all the hard questions people are going to an outside bathtub place. All together. My goodness.

Craig said they will be wrinkly all over when they get home. My goodness.

Today there were some very big machines in front of my house.

They were hiding behind our beautiful trees. But I saw them. Ha.

They were make the road all flat machines. That is a good idea.

Then the go fast chair will not just crash and be all upside down again.

There were so many bathtub people that Tarryn had to take Jamie’s giant car too.

But now they cannot have dinner with me, or Craig and Zita either. Too bad for them.

Day One Thousand and Eighty Nine

Miss Pancake.

My goodness, not even one person had a sleep in today.

So I took Niamh and Erin on a long, just here walk.

And when we got home my friend Tarryn was here too, so I minded all of them in our office.

Craig got up early too, because that nice man brought a go fast chair that had a real motor.

Just for Craig to look at.

And the motor was right underneath the chair.

And you can take it off too. My goodness.

Niamh and Tarryn and Erin came to watch it.

The man looked at the basement wheelchairs, and he said that they were way too old.

That is why we are going to get a brand new fast chair, for that motor.

Yesterday I surprised Zita, because when she was in the basement, so was I. Ha.

Now I can go up and down the stairs all by myself.

But I can go only go with Zita or Niamh, because there are dangerous things in our basement.

Like Emmet’s very sharp swords or those very pointy spears.

Or that canon under the bed. My goodness.

So now Zita has a little door on top of the stairs.

So I will not forget, and go downstairs without anybody.

Niamh and Tarryn and Erin went downtown to do some important shopping, before they went to the hard questions restaurant.

Mister Tyler and Mister Jamie will not be there.

Because they are playing their hockey game together.

So they could not have their dinner with me. Too bad for them.

We had a very nice dinner, then we had lots of time to watch our detective program.

Day One Thousand and Eighty Eight

Everybody did not go to bed until late last night.

Because Niamh went to the aeroport to find that Mister Tyler.

Because he got home from far away all by himself. Ha.

And then she got Miss Dina to bring her to our house for a tasty dinner.

So we did not have dinner until late.

So Craig and Zita and Niamh and Tarryn and Erin and Dina and I had a together dinnertime.

And everybody laughed so much that we did not go to bed until it was passed the right bedtime.

But I went to bed at the right time anyway. Ha.

This morning Niamh and Erin to to have an important meeting with their working friends.

And it was at the lots of treats coffee store. My goodness me.

Then Zita walked to that store to get the fast car and I had to mind Craig.

But he did not have a sleep in today, and when Zita got home from the grocery store she brought muffins.

So we had one of them for our lunch. Ha.

When Niamh and Erin got home from that very long meeting it was time for dinner.

But Niamh had to go to Tyler’s parent’s house to do an important errand.

Then Niamh and Tarryn and Erin had to go to their dancing around a pole class.

So they did not have the very tasty special chickens dinner with us.

After that dinner watched the rascals mystery program.

Day One Thousand and Eighty Seven

Miss Pancake

I had a very quiet day today.

And so did everybody else here.

Because Niamh and Erin were up early to do their important work together in our office.

I was there very best helper, after Zita and I had our good morning walk around.

Craig was in bed for a long time, because he got a brand new book to listen to.

And it is a book all about everything. My goodness me.

At lunchtime Niamh and Erin had to go to help Tarryn.

And they went very fast too.

Because she found a giant bug in her bedroom. My goodness me.

I wanted to go, because I am a very fierce bug squisher.

But Niamh had a bottle of kill the bugs stuff, and it was not good for nice dogs like me. Oh well.

Then I minded Craig when Zita went to Miss Bethany’s for some tea.

But we had a giant croissant when Craig had his next way too many coffees.

I did not go outside this afternoon, because it was an all the time rain afternoon.

So I had a very lovely chair nap.

The fast care brought Niamh and Erin and Tarryn back to my house.

The giant bugs did not get Tarryn. That is good.

Day One Thousand and Eighty Six

Miss Pancake

My goodness me.

I was sitting on my watching window chair, in the nearly morning time, and Niamh and Tarryn and Erin came home.

That was a very long dinnertime. My goodness.

So Zita and I had a little sleep in.

Then we made our very tasty full of peaches dessert.

And at lunch time Craig was all awake and all my lady friends got up too.

And we all sat in the living room and laughed and laughed.

And they were laughing so much that they could not drive.

So they all went downstairs to eat that peaches dessert.

And watched a movie.

Craig had some of that delicious dessert too, with his own another coffee. Ha.

And today our cousin Lucy made a score for her university team.

And they even have their own uniforms.

Our friend Miss Doctor Andrea is still way up north, fixing people.

And today there was a fast as could be seal in the water, right beside her boat.

But those seals do not eat people. That is good.

She will be coming back soon, to her own nice hospital.

Niamh and Tarryn and Erin are going to find Sach and her brand new friend.

And then they are all going to a too many chips restaurant. My goodness me.

But they promised me that I will not have to stay up so late tonight, to wait for them.

Day One Thousand and Ninety Five

Miss Pancake

I could not tell Craig my stories yesterday, because he had too many sore shoulders.

So when Zita had the noisy clean the house machines upstairs, I kept Craig’s bottom all warm as could be.

When he was fast asleep.

So Zita and I had a quiet day, and we had three very nice walks.

And at dinnertime I helped Craig with his eggs sandwich.

Then we watched a new program all about rascals.

Today Craig was all better and when he got up I got lots of chicken on top of my lunch.

Zita had to go somewhere, and it took forever, because all our roads are just big holes.

So you have to go all over everywhere. And all over everywhere takes a long time.

But when she got home we had jams toasts. Ha.

Then the fast car brought Niamh and Erin here, and then Jamie’s car brought Tarryn and Dina here too.

They showed me a picture, because they were all in the cottage’s water, and they were swimming.

And they told me it was very very cold, so after they had to have wines, even before dinner. My goodness.

And they turned the outside fireplace on, so they could be all cosy together.

When they were back here, everybody was in our kitchen, so I got lots of hugs. Ha.

Zita had to go to the grocery store, and all the streets were full up with those lost cars.

Because there was a football game up on the busy street. Oh well.

All the ladies went downstairs to Emmet’s squeaky clean bedroom

So they could sit on those very comfy sofas, and laugh all the time.

Mister Doug gave Emmet those very comfy sofas before he went to far far away heaven.

But the ladies did not have dinner with me.

Because they all had to go to a table sheets restaurant. Oh well.

With their only beautiful clothes on.

Mister Tyler could not go, because he is visiting his friends in the mountains.

But Craig and Zita and I went into our bedroom to watch our rascals program.

Day One Thousand and Ninety Three

When we got up my pond was still all empty as could be.

But we went on a very long walk anyway.

But Zita and I were still sad.

When we got home Zita had some of her fluffy coffee.

Craig did not make it for her today, because he was still fast asleep. Oh well.

Then my friend Niamh was here.

Because she had lots of important work to do before our friend Erin’s aeroplane found us.

And then the fast car took Niamh to our aeroport and got Miss Erin.

And then she got Miss xxx and they all came here for some fluffy coffees. My goodness.

When they got here Craig was all awake. That was good.

And Miss Erin brought him a present. And it was a lovely interesting book for him to read.

And then they talked all about delicious croissants.

But we did not have any.

But we had a giant bag of Mister Kettleman’s tasty bagels.

And Niamh took nearly all of them to the cottage.

Because all those ladies went to the cottage.

And they are going to sleep there and make their own delicious dinner. My goodness.

The fast car took them.

When they were gone Zita made Craig toasty bagels with jams all over them. Ha.

Then Zita and I went for a long walk.

Because the weather was still all as beautiful as could be.

When we got home it was time to mind Craig.

Because Zita had to go to the medicine shop, so Tarryn could bring some to the cottage for Niamh.

Because tomorrow Tarryn is going to the cottage too. Ha.

She has Mister Jamie’s giant car.

But it is not as big as Mister Clifford.

Last night Zita got a beautiful sewing machine, for free.

And it is heavier than me. My goodness.

Day One Thousand and Ninety Two

Miss Pancake

Oh my goodness me.

When I got awake and looked out my favourite window my pond was empty.

And my friends the ducks have gone on their vacation.

It is good that Mister Clifford has its do not get stuck in the snow tires on.

And this morning the fast car went to Mister Mike’s to get those kind of tires too. Ha.

And where my friend Erin lives there was everywhere snow. Oh dear.

It is good she is going to visit us tomorrow.

Because we do not have even a little bit of that snow. Ha.

Everybody was very busy today.

Tarryn was very busy writing her university story. And Zita was reading it so it is all perfect.

Craig had two big pieces of toasts for his second lunch. I nearly forgot to help him. My goodness.

Because I was very busy helping Niamh.

Zita walked to Mister Mike’s to get the fast car, because it was still very lovely outside.

Zita made our delicious vegetable all covered in different cheeses. My goodness.

Tonight is the hard questions restaurant night, so Niamh and Tarryn borrowed the fast car.

Craig and Zita and I watched that detective who has his very own church.

Day One Thousand and Ninety One

Miss Pancake

I was very busy very very early in the morning.

Because a present man brought something for Zita, even before I was all awake.

So I jumped right of the bed and ran to my window, as fast as could be.

But the present man was already gone.

So we went back to sleep, until our breakfast time.

Then we went for our walk, and when we got home Niamh was awake and in our office. My goodness me.

So I was her best helper, until I went to fast fast asleep. Oh well.

Then Zita and I took Tarryn to the university and then Niamh and I brought her back.

I was very busy.

Craig had a sleep in because he was listening to a new book. I helped him have warm toes.

And then Niamh had to make her bedroom all neat and tidy.

Because our friend Miss Erin is going to come here, for a visit.

So you cannot have a very messy downstairs when your friends come to visit you. It is the rule.

Then Zita went to the special store to get things for when we get a new squeaky clean shower.

And an already cooked tasty chicken for our dinner.

Chicken is my favourite.

And she got us pumpkins, so we can make them scary pumpkins. For the scary night. Ha.

In Ireland they do not have pumpkins, so they have scary turnips. My goodness me.

My friend Emmet told me. He talks about it at his university.

He said that the old Irish people found the scary night a long long time ago.

And they still have it.

But I do not think his students are way too scared.

Before dinnertime Zita and I went for a very nice just around here walk.

After dinnertime Niamh and Tarryn went to their round and around dancing class.

With all their lady friends.

But after dinner Craig and Zita and I, we went to bed, so we could watch our detectives.

Day One Thousand and Ninety

We had a nice quiet day today.

I got very tasty hams on my lunch.

Then Zita went outside with the noisy blow everything far away machine.

I stayed in the house and minded Craig, and we had pumpkins pie for our second lunchtime.

Then Zita went to Professor Jill’s to get the cut your toes off machine.

So our beautiful grass will be all ready for the winter time.

Craig and I saw lots of people running up and down my street today.

Craig said that they had way too much to eat at their dinner parties, so they have to run it all away.

The fast car brought Niamh back from the Mahoney's cottage. And Mister Tyler too.

But only Niamh came back here for dinner.

And we had my very favourite cheese toasties.

They are my favourite because I always some crunchy bits.

We went to bed early tonight, because everyone was very tired, Even Niamh.

Day One Thousand and Eighty Nine

Miss Pancake

We had a little sleep in this morning.

Because our giant party was still here, way past my bedtime.

So I went into the big bedroom and went to fast asleep all by myself. Ha.

After we had our tables all ready we had to find chairs for everybody, except for my friend Craig and me.

And we got extra chair from Miss Bruna.

And we had all the food ever.

And our very favourite hams from our friends on the busy street.

And lots and lots of vegetables too.

And everybody ate way too much. Ha.

And Craig and Mister Lyndon and Mister Paul talked about old things.

Because they are old. Ha.

And we had pumpkins pies. Two of them. And there was the delicious fluffy cream on top.

Tarryn put some on my dinner too. Ha.

Then I went to bed.

Today we had breakfast with Niamh and Tyler, but then they had to go to Tyler’s family’s dinner.

And after that they went to the Mahoney cottage, but all those Mahoneys were not there.

They were all in Toronto with brand new Mister Charlie.

So Niamh and Tyler had a just together relax.

And yesterday our friend Miss Rowan had a little baby.

And she has a brand new name. Fáilin Íde Raymond.

That is an Irish name.

I know that because one of Niamh’s names is Íde too. My goodness me.

After our lunchtime Mister Clifford took us on an adventure ride to look at all the very beautiful trees.

I got some hams on my dinner, but we do not have lots of extra hams, because everybody ate it. Oh well.

We went to watch our detectives right after dinner, because we were all too tired, because we were very busy today.

Day One Thousand and Eighty Eight

I had a very busy day. My goodness me,

Because it is our dinner party day.

Zita and I looked at all the gardens in our neighbourhood this morning.

And when we went home Niamh and that Mister Tyler were all awake too.

So we had a lovely together breakfast.

And we brought up the other dinning room table.

Because of the so many party people.

Then Tyler went to do lots of errands and Craig got all dressed too.

So then Zita and Niamh got in the fast car and went to get all the delicious foods for our party.

When Craig had a giant coffee he had two butter tarts, I got to clean the plate.

Then Mister Paul came here to do more work in Niamh’s bedroom lights.

When Zita and Niamh got home my friend Miss Sach was here.

And she brought us beautiful flowers.

And she was dressed in her black party clothes. My goodness me.

I do not have any party clothes. But I got a little bath yesterday and I am black too. Ha.

Then Niamh and Sach went to buy even more wines for the party.

All the Mahoneys could not come to our party, because they had a party with Mister Charlie in Toronto.

Miss Tara sent me a picture.

She is making Zita’s especially delicious potatoes.

And her book has Zita’s name in it, and even a picture of all of us.

You cannot see me, because I was under the table.

Just in case something tasty fell down. Ha.

When Niamh and Sach got back with bags of wines, Niamh put all her hair on top of her head.

That is how I know she is very busy.

And she brought her loud music machine into the kitchen. My goodness.

I was very busy minding the downstairs.

That is a very easy job for me.

Then all our friends came, so I could not tell Craig any more of my story, because I was too busy being polite.

So maybe tomorrow, if I remember everything. Maybe.

Day One Thousand and Eighty Seven

Miss Pancake

Craig did not write our story yesterday.

Because Miss Janet came to do his stretching. And she was here for a long time.

And when she was all gone to her house he was very tired.

I went in the bedroom and Craig was so very fast asleep I had to nose poke him.

But he was not dead.

‘But he went right back to fast asleep.

And we had a peanut butter and honey sandwich in our bed.

And this morning he had a sick tummy, and so did I. My goodness me.

Zita and I got Niamh this morning, because she had too many important meetings.

And after lunchtime Mister Paul came over to put the brand new lights in Niamh's bedroom.

Today is the day for Niamh’s beautiful dancing school, so she borrowed the fast car.

After school she found Tyler and they went to the Tiger restaurant for lots of delicious from far away food.

Maybe they will have tiger hamburgers. Maybe.

Mister Tyler stayed here tonight, because we will have lots of work to do for our giant dinner party.

Because it is the day we remember all the very good things we have.

Like your own comfy chair, and friends who are not too messy, and a family that always remembers your dinnertime. Ha.

Everybody in the world is coming to our house for dinner, even Miss Bruna, so we will have lots of from Italy delicious meats. Ha.

we were very tired tonight, so we had dinner very early.

And I got tasty rice for dinner.

Because of my sick tummy.

We went to our comfy bed early too, so we could watch our detectives.

Day One Thousand and Eighty Five

When we got awake all the rain was gone and it was as sunny as could be.

When I looked out the window there were brand new beautiful flowers. My goodness.

Zita told me it was because it was still warm all day.

And our flowers thought it was still summertime.

After our long walk my friend Tarryn was here.

Because she had an important story to write for her university.

So she went into the office with Niamh to be very busy.

When Craig got up it was just the right time for my lunch.

And I got chicken’s soup on top of my lunch.

We had a very nice and quiet day today.

My friend Miss Doctor Andrea is even farther away today.

And the aeroplane is not even very big.

But the aeroplane did not get even a bit lost. That is good.

But she had to bring her own food.

Because there is not even one restaurant in that little town. My goodness me.

This afternoon Zita and Niamh and Tarryn and me were in our office.

Because we had to find some brand new and very beautiful lights for Niamh’s bedroom.

Then at dinner time Zita took Niamh and Tarryn to the hard questions restaurant.

So there was only Craig and Zita at dinner, because I already had mine. Ha.

Then it was detective time for all of us.

We only had a nice walk this morning.

And we saw my friends who are making the giant hole in the other street.

When we got home just like that it was an all day rainy day. Oh well.

And I had to have a little bath, because my feet were a bit full of outside mud.

We did not watch our detectives last night because Craig went to fast asleep right away.

I had a very nice long time relax this morning.

But then when it was lunchtime, the fast car took Niamh to a lovely restaurant.

Because lots of far away people are here for an important meeting.

So they are all going to have a tasty together lunch with Niamh.

And Mister Nelson is here from way way far away

But his nice dog did not want to come here.

Because of that very very long aeroplane ride.

Zita made some very delicious from Ireland bread this morning.

And when Craig had his very first coffee we had two toasts, with jams on top.

That is the very best toasty bread ever.

We did not eat it all.

Niamh came home for just a little bit, with a lady from her work.

And they went to Miss Katie’s lovely restaurant for their especially delicious chips.

After dinner a lady came to talk to us about a brand new go fast chair.

Maybe it will have a motor, so Craig’s not so very good shoulders will not be too sore.

That is a very good idea.

Then when she was all gone it was detective time for us.

Day One Thousand and Eighty Three

We had a relax for the whole day.

We even had a little sleep in. Ha.

After our walk all over my neighbourhood, it was time for me to be Niamh best helper.

But sometimes I had a little outside nap, because it was a very beautiful day today.

When Craig was all awake it was nearly my lunchtime, so I had an early lunch.

Zita did not have lunch with me, because she had lunch with the other Sue.

The make your hair all beautiful Sue.

So she could look at the pictures we took when Emmet and Alice got all together married.

Some of the trees in my pond park are not so green anymore. Oh well.

Niamh told me that Tyler was very happy, because they won that hockey game.

Maybe they will win lots of times. Maybe.

When Craig had his next another coffee we had the full of nuts muffin.

Then it was my have a nice nap time.

Mister Paul came over to look at the lights in Niamh’s room. Maybe he can fix them. My goodness.

Craig went into the bathroom, and when he came out his beard was nearly all gone.

He told me he needed a new beard for the way too cold winter. Ha.

That was. Good idea.

Day One Thousand and Eighty Two

My goodness me.

Last night I was the smartest dog in the whole world.

When I went into our living room last night, my friend Zita was just there, laying on the floor.

And I thought that maybe she was all broken, so I ran as quick as could be to get Craig.

Because he is a good helper.

But before I got there Zita called me.

And she told me that she was not even a bit all broken.

She was just doing her stretching exercises.

So I gave her lots and lots of kisses. To make sure.

But I lay down right beside her, in case she did not even know that she was broken.

Craig said I was the very smartest minder dog even. Ha. Good for me.

After lunchtime Zita and I brought Niamh back home.

Then I helped her with some important work in our office.

Then we went to get a new music machine for Craig.

This one is not as old as Emmet.

And then Niamh and Tarryn and Cara all went to the hockey game.

And Tyler and Jamie’s team won. My goodness me.

Tonight Craig was a bit too tired, because he was shot.

So we had peanut butter and jams sandwiches right in bed.

And then we watched the detective program with old lady detectives. My goodness me.

Day One Thousand and Eighty One

My goodness me, it was outside beautiful again today.

And after our all around walk we had lots of important errands to do.

And our fast car was all awake as could be.

So we put all the windows down, so I could have flappy ears. Ha.

We went to the giant hardware store.

And we got brand new lights for Niamh’s bedroom. And a special saw too.

When we got home Craig was all dressed and got my lunch right away.

And when he had his coffees he had some very delicious cake from Emmet’s wedding.

It was all frozen hard in our other refrigerator.

Because I did not go to the wedding I got a very big piece of that cake. Ha.

Then Niamh told us she had forgotten things, so Zita took them to her before she went to do some more shopping.

I stayed here so I could mind my friend Craig. And have more tasty cake. Ha.

Then Zita came to find Mister Clifford, because Niamh found a lovely for your clothes box.

And it was just for free.

But it was too big for the fast car. My goodness.

And when she got home Mister Paul came here to look at the lights be Zita got. My goodness me.

So he can help put them in.

What a busy afternoon.

Day One Thousand and Eighty

I had a very busy day.

Because we had lots of important errands to do.

We went to my doctor’s office to get my nasty bugs medicine.

And I had my head right out the window.

And my ears flapped all the time.

Craig did not wake up until way after lunchtime.

And he was not even listening to his book. He was just all fast fast asleep.

Zita told me his new do not get sick shot made him very sleepy.

Doctor Alice told Emmet that she was very glad Craig got shot.

Because people can get way too sick if they do not have that shot.

Maybe she will give a shot to Emmet. Maybe.

Last night I had a giant adventure at Tyler’s apartment.

I even jumped right up on the bed, and I sniffed everything everywhere. Ha.

Then we watched the television, until Zita came to bring me home.

I was very excited.

And I told Craig all about the adventure.

Even when I went on the outside porch.

And we were so high in the air that the birds could see me. My goodness.

He said that I was very brave. That was true.

After I had my late lunch, we went and brought Niamh here, so she could do some more important work.

Because when she was finished it was time for the fast car to take her to the beautiful dining school.

Mister Paul came here for dinner.

And we had Zita’s own made sauce just for pastas, right on top of very delicious square pastas.

And when Paul went home it was bedtime for us.

Day One Thousand and Seventy Nine

Miss Pancake 

We had a very quiet day today, except for Mister Kyle’s halters.

They were very busy talking away Jenifer’s all broken shed. With very noisy saws. 

Because that is where those nasty raccoons go. Ha. Too bad for them.

Yesterday those nice men gave us some stuff for fixing wall. 

Zita and I had a very lovely walk before the fast car brought Niamh home.

They did not win again. Oh dear. 

Then I went into the den and minded Niamh and my friend Miss Erin. 

She was taking to Niamh for a very long time today.

Zita found my lunch for me, because Craig was still very all asleep. 

But when he got awake as could be, we had a breakfast doughnuts. 

Craig said breakfast doughnuts do not make you chubby, if you drink your coffee at the same time. My goodness me.

This afternoon Zita took everything out of the cupboard. 

And put all the pots right on the kitchen floor. 

But now everything is squeaky clean again. Good for us. 

Yesterday in the late at night, Miss Andrea and the other doctors went outside to look at the bright as could be sky. 

When you are way up there the sky gets all wobbly and that makes everything way beautiful. 

And today they shot at bottles with real guns. 

My goodness me.

But they were far outside, not in the hospital.

But now they do not have to be way too worried about those polar bears. 

I did not have dinner with Craig and Zita tonight, because Niamh and I went to Tyler’s apartment.

Zita and the fast car took us there, and then they left to do some important shopping. My goodness me.

But Zita said she would come back and bring me back to our house. 

Day One Thousand and Seventy Eight

We were very busy today.

After we went for a very lovely walk and went home, Craig was all dressed.

Because today was his day to see his favourite doctor.

So Mister Clifford took him downtown so he could get his do not get sick and die shot.

And Niamh and I went to our university and brought Tarryn home with us.

So she could do her university writing in our office.

And when Craig and Zita got home, they had a box of Miss Suzy’s very delicious doughnuts.

And there were enough for everybody. And I got all of Craig’s crumbs.

Then, because it was still as beautiful as could be Zita and I went for a walk.

And today is the very special day for black dogs, dogs just like me. Ha.

Maybe that is why we had those doughnuts. Maybe.

My friend Andrea was doing her all over everywhere running up in far away.

And she and another lady Doctor found some nice dogs to run with them.

I think they were their minder dogs.

Because of those scary polar bears.

When Zita and I went for our walk, my favourite construction lady gave me a special just for me treat.

Very big trucks are fixing that street, and she makes sure silly cars do not fall into the very big hole.

That is an important job.

Zita and I drove Niamh and Tarryn to that hard questions restaurant.

Craig went to have a relax in the big bed, before we watched the detectives.
