Day Two Thousand and Eighty Six

Miss Pancake 

​My goodness, the outside had even more cold this morning.

But we had important things to do anyway.

So both Zita and I got all dressed in our very warm clothes.

I even wore the keep me warm coat.

Because I am not so furry now that I am all beautiful again. 

My coat is all furry on the inside, and I am only furry on the outside. Oh well. 

And we walked through both of our ponds.

Because they are as empty as can be. 

It is the very fast way to get to our busy street.

And then we went to our bank, and Zita talked to a nice lady for a very long time.

But I was the very best waiting dog ever.

So I got a giant treat. Ha.

Then we got some groceries too.

When we went home we walked around our streets, but not even one of my friends were there.

When we were inside our house again MisterJamie brought Niamh and Tarryn here.

Because they and Sach went to find used stuff. 

The fast car went to. 

Because maybe they would find something too big to carry . Maybe.

Craig was all dressed when they were here, and he had brand new pants on.

And they were cosy warm pants. Ha.

Then Zita and I went downstairs to make everything neat and tidy.  

And maybe find treasures. Maybe.

The badgers are coming home tomorrow, so we cleaned their special room. Ha. 

My goodness me, we did find lots of treasures.

Even some of Craig’s all stuffed full up friends. 

And some had beautiful sweaters that our Nana made for them. 

My goodness me.

And a very big very old machine for your tea.

But it is not for Irish tea, it is only for Russian tea. My goodness me. 

When Niamh got home she found a very long coat. Right to her own toes, and it was all black leather.

Craig said that now she can drive her own submarine. I would not think that is a good idea. 

Day Two Thousand and Eighty Five

​mMiss Pancake 

We did not go to the farm today.

Because it was way too cold. Especially for our noses.

So when Niamh got here we had toasts and coffees.

And when Niamh was very busy, so Zita and I went for a not very long around here walk. 

We did not see any of our friends. Oh well.

Maybe because of the way too cold.

But we saw my little friend, the very fast running bunny rabbit. Ha. 

When we got home I helped Niamh and Zita made our house spic and span. 

When Craig got up and had his coffee, he had a cinnamon bun too.

But he had to eat it all by himself.

Because I was downstairs minding Zita and Niamh when they were working together.

In Emmet’s old room. 

But then I went into Niamh’s very lovely bedroom, and had my long nap on her very comfy bed. Ha.

When we were finished it was time for Niamh to go to her beautiful dancing class.

The fast car took her there, because of the very too much cold.

I talked to Craig lots of times, so I got my dinner early tonight. Ha.

So I only had to mind Craig and Zita at dinnertime tonight.

So we were all full up when we watch our detective program. And I 

Day Two Thousand and Eighty Four

Miss Pancake 

​My goodness me. I slept all night right in our big bed. 

And I did not even wake up until Zita was awake.

Because being very beautiful makes you very tired. It is a rule. 

So then we went and found Niamh and brought her to our house.

Because she had so many meetings today.

And Dina came here too, because she had the same meetings.

Craig did not have a sleep in today.

I do not know why. Oh well.

But when he had his coffee he had a Mister IKEA’s delicious cinnamon bun too.

So I helped him.

But I had to remind him it was my own lunchtime too.

Then Niamh and Dina went out to do some errands with the fast car.

But I stayed here today to mind Craig and Zita. 

Because it was a very nice quiet day for me.

And Craig and Zita too. 

So we all went to our bed early. Good for us.

Day Two Thousand and Eighty Three

​It was not so cold this morning, so Zita and I went for a very nice all around here walk. For a long time.

Then I helped Niamh, but she had a surprise for me.

Today is my make me beautiful day.

So after Tarryn had here coffee we went into the bathroom. With all my beautiful things.

And we were there all afternoon.

So I could only have a very short story today. 

Because I could not talk to Craig when I was being all beautiful. Oh well.

And when I was all beautiful I was so tired I went to fast fast asleep.

Day Two Thousand and Ninety One

​Miss Pancake 

I did not have to mind Niamh last night.

Because that movie was not so very scary. 

So I kept Craig and Zita comfy for a while, then I went and had a long nap in my favourite watching chair. 

So I could look out the window, yesterday I saw that bunny rabbit. 

And it ran as fast as could be, right across my patio.

I did not see it today. Oh well. 

This morning Zita took the fast chair to the wheelchair garage, so they could do things to it. 

But he did not use the other not so fast chair, because the nice man brought the fast chair back at lunchtime.

But now I cannot turn the motor on by accident. Oh well, too bad for me. 

We did not go to the farm again this morning. 

Because we were too busy. 

And when we looked outside, it was a full of snow sky again. 

Zita went outside and took all the snow off Mister Clifford. 

And then she took him for a little adventure ride, and got him all toasty warm inside. 

Cars really like to be toasty warm. It is known. Me too. 

Then she found Miss Jennifer’s throwing snow everywhere

And she made our driveway nearly empty.

Then Niamh had to go to the round and round dancing.

So we watched our detectives. In bed.  Ha. 

Day Two Thousand and Ninety

Miss Pancake 

​It was a bit too cold to go to our farm this morning, so I had a relax when Zita found Niamh.

And when they came back home I was just there waiting for them. Ha.

Then I helped Niamh with her important meetings. 

Zita was very busy this morning getting all the clothes as clean as could be. I helped her too.

There was even more too much snow last night. 

And all our nice streets are very bumpy. I do not like that so much. 

Zita and I talked to Mister Lyndon when we went for our after lunchtime walk. 

He is going to far far away for a very long vacation. Miss Bruna is going with him. 

Because Mister Lyndon is retired too. My goodness. 

Mister Lochlainn sent us a picture.

And it was of all the badgers, fast asleep. 

But not in a nice comfy bed.

Dugal was fast asleep on top of a giant dinner table, and I could only see Festis and Furrgus’s feet.

Because they were asleep under the bed. My goodness me.  

Zita said maybe they had sick tummies. Maybe. 

When Niamh was all finished her meetings we went into the kitchen, so she could make my toes all beautiful. 

Then Zita and Niamh made dinner. 

And they made a very special delicious cake.

But we cannot eat it today, because Niamh has to pour a secret sauce all over it.

And then it had to live in the refrigerator for all night. Oh well. Too bad for us.

Niamh and her friends went to a scary movie tonight.

We did not go.

Craig and are to scared of scary movies.

So we watched our detectives instead. 

Day Two Thousand and Eighty Nine

​Miss Pancake 

My goodness me, it was still way too cold to go to my farm today.

Even with our lovely warm coats on. 

So we went in the car to the for nice dogs store. 

And we found brand new tasty treats for us.

And when we got home Zita talked to Nana and Grandad. 

It was even a bit cold in far away Dublin. My goodness. 

I hope they have toasty warm slippers like Zita and Niamh.

The take the snow away machines came to my street last night.

I did not hear them, because I was too fast asleep.

And this morning when I looked out my watching window, there was no snow hills on my street.

Niamh and all her friends went to a nice restaurant together last night.

It was a from Mexico for restaurant. 

That from Mexico food is too hot for my tummy.

But it is Niamh and Tyler’s favourite. Oh well.

Craig and I had a very tasty muffin for our together lunch.

Craig is going to give some of his little fast cars to someone who does not have any. 

All our Badger friends are in Scotland. But it is a secret visit. 

Because of the English police. 

But they are going to a giant party at Festis and Furrgus’s castle. 

They cannot visit Dugal’s castle, because his mother’s nasty husband stole it. 

But he was his very own room in the other castle. 

And it has a fireplace so big he can stand up in it. My goodness.

But tonight is that Mister Burn’s’ own night. 

Because it was his birthday a long time ago. 

So now everybody goes to special dinner parties, to listen to bagpipe music, and drink scotch in beautiful glasses. 

And sing sad songs.

Mister Burn’s had a lovely dog. Mister Lauth.  . 

And we very best friends.

And he even wrote famous stories about dogs. Ha.

That is why they have parties on his birthday. It is known.

Dugal’s friend Duchessa Della’Lucca is going to be there too. 

Festis and Furrgus hope that cousin Mórag will be ever so polite to her. 

They told me ever since Mórag’s family sold the castle without telling her, she decided to be a rich communist.

Mister Lochlainn told them not to mention the Bentleys in the castle’s garage. Or the house in Monaco. 

He said it was much safer to just smile and walk all the dogs. For a longtime. Oh my. 

We had a very tasty dinner and when it was over Craig woke me up.

I was fast asleep on my sofa in our den. 

Because it was detective time for us. 

Day Two Thousand and Eighty Eight

Miss Pancake 

​It was so cold this morning I did not even stay outside to smell all the interesting smells.

Then Niamh came here in our fast car and right away Zita and Niamh went to a school where you make things all by yourself. 

And they had to use those very dangerous cut off your fingers machines.

And they made houses for my friends the birds. 

I have my own little house too. 

And it was free, so I did not have to give our bank any money at all. Ha.

Craig and Zita used to give money to that bank, and they did not even get treats. 

Then I went to Lee’s house to help mind a little dog. 

Because I am a very good minder. 

Zita and Niamh were here when I got back.  Ha.

And Craig was all dressed, so we had tasty muffins.

And Niamh practiced her beautiful music on her guitar. Right in the living room. 

Then Zita took Niamh to Tyler’s and then went to find some tasty groceries.

I stayed here so I could mind Craig. 

And have my before dinner nap too.

We had some very thick bacons for dinner, we had very small potatoes too. 

And those mushrooms with cheese on top.

Then we watched the detective who has a very big dog. 

It is a rescue people dog, not a detective dog.

But it sits in the back seat, just like me. 

Day Two Thousand and Eighty Seven

Miss Pancake 

​My goodness me, I was so busy today.

There was so much way too cold outside I had to wear my boots and my keep me warm jacket.

So then we could go to the farm. Because we were all dressed up.

Zita had her very long toasty warm coat on and a keep your ears warm hat.

But when the fast car took us to the farm we were the only thing there. 

I ran up to the very top of the snow mountains, so I could look everywhere.

But I did not see any of my friends today.

Zita said my friends were too smart to be outside in the too cold.

We did not stay for a long time today. 

And when we got in the fast car it was all warm. 

Then we went to our very favourite store for dogs. 

And there were two ladies there, and they were selling own made delicious treats.

So we bought the very biggest bag. Ha.

And I talked to the ladies for a long time, and I was so polite I got an extra treat.

When we got home Craig was all dressed, but even before he had his coffee Niamh gave him a job.

And Zita and Niamh put all the socks in the world on the dining room table.

And then we put the right socks with the right socks.

So Craig drank his coffee with the socks. 

Because Niamh and Dina are going downtown.

To give the warm socks to people who do not have lovely warm socks. 

And right after the fast car took Niamh away, the giant take the snow away machines were right here.

Even the chew up the snow machines and their giant trucks. 

They were on my other street. They were very loud. 

And some silly cars go right where the machines are already.

And then the men yell at those cars. My goodness.

Day Two Thousand and Eighty Six

Miss Pancake 

​it was so cold outside this morning that I could not go to the farm, even with my boots on.

So we stayed here and got Niamh.

Because she had a very busy day.

Then Miss Dina came here for her coffees and to work.

So I was very busy minding then when Zita went a got stuck with a needle. 

I was very happy when Craig got all dressed.

He did not have a sick tummy today. 

So I did not have to keep his toes warm today.

He said he ate way too many vegetables, that was why he was sick. 

That is not true.

Lots of times I get those tasty beans or roll around peas. And I did not get sick.

After Craig had his coffee Zita and I took Niamh and Dina to a coffees store.

Because their other work friends were there, so they could have a together meeting.

But then Zita and I went to the farm. Ha.

And I ran all over the snow hills.

And then Mister Cluse was there, and we played catch me together. 

Mister Cluse is a very big dog. He is from far away Newfoundland. My goodness me.

And he is black just like me, but he is bigger.

Then we went home because there was so much blowing all around snow, we could not see.

But the fast car could see, so we got right in and went home. 

We are very glad that we got that brand new warm the house machine. It is known. 

And when we got home we had tasty treats. Ha.

And I had a very nice nap.

We had toasty cheesies for our dinner. 

And Craig gave me some. For keeping his toes warm.

Then it was detective time for us.

Day Two Thousand and Eighty Three

​Well we did not have a nice quiet day today.

Because the men came to give us a brand new keep the house warm machine.

And they were way noisy. 

And they had to take the old machine away in their very big truck.

And after they brought the new machine downstairs, they made so much noise I could not even have a relax.

And they had their own very very scary noisy machines too. My goodness me.

But I was very very brave, so when Zita was having her Irish tea, I guarded her from behind the big chair.

It is not even a bit scary behind that chair. Ha. 

Then my friend Tarryn came to visit us.

So I was minding her too.

I had a very very busy day. 

One of the men has a very nice dog at his house. It like meatballs. Me too. Ha. 

Then it was my dinnertime, but my full of food box was empty. My goodness.

But Niamh and I went downstairs to the basement, because that is where my giant bag of food lives.

So after we filled the box up to the top, I had my own dinner. 

Day Two Thousand and Eighty Two

​Miss Pancake 

As soon as we were all very awake, and after we had our breakfasts it was go to the farm time.

When we got there it was very windy.

Windy times are my favourite.

That is why I put my head outside the fast car’s windows when it is not so cold.

I ran all over everywhere, until Zita and I had too cold noses.

Then the fast car took us home.

Zita talked to her in far away parents, I had a nice relax.

Because of all the very fast running I did.

Today is my very own anniversary day. 

Because it is the day I got my family.

As soon as I got off the aeroplane, Zita and Niamh were right there.

So they could bring me home to my new home. 

And my friend the fast car was there too. Ha.

That was a good day for us. It is known. 

This afternoon Niamh and Tyler came here for a very little visit. 

Because they went to the too much of everything store.

And they got us lots of very delicious groceries.

But they did not stay, because they had things to do with their friends. 

When Craig was all awake, he had Scotsmans biscuits for his lunchtime. 

And when he had his next coffee, we had even more. Ha.

Then I minded my friend Craig when Zita took her friend Bethany for an around her walk. 

And when she got home it was nearly our own dinnertime.

But we went downstairs to put all too dirty clothes in the round and round machine first. 

So then we had the very delicious used food from yesterday. Ha.

Then I minded Craig and Zita right in the comfy big bed, when we watched the scary spies. 

Day Two Thousand and Eighty One

Miss Pancake 

​I had a very good morning, because we went to our farm.

And it was a very full of warm sunshine all over.

So I could run as fast as I could. 

And there was everywhere snow. Ha. 

And it was so deep that Zita could not even see me. 

But I was still there. 

We had the very very best time. 

Then we went home for our lunch and a relax.

Craig had a very big sleep in, because of his fierce dogs and knights story. My goodness.

Niamh and Tyler came to my house for a visit, and for dinner too.

And they did not walk here.

Because they just skated here. 

All the way from downtown to here, on our empty canal. 

Because in the winter you can skate on the all frozen up water in the canal. 

Then Zita and Niamh and Tyler and I went downstairs to move things.

Because soon our brand new came our house warm machine will be here.

So that room has to be all empty. 

Then Zita and Niamh and I made an especially delicious dinner.

Craig and Tyler just talked.

Because they are not very good at cooking delicious things like us. Ha. 

So we had two meats, right on top of each other. And one was my favourite hams from Italy.

Then Niamh and Tyler skated back home, so I could go to fast asleep. Ha. 

Day Two Thousand and Eighty

Miss Pancake 

​I had another very busy morning.

We were so busy we could not go to our farm.

Because the man came to get everything all ready for the other men to bring the new hot air machine.

So Craig had to get up right away. 

So he had to have two coffees before he was nearly all awake.

Then I had to help him with the Scotsman’s biscuits. 

Last night it was so snowy a man was skiing on my street.

And his two dogs were pulling him so fast we nearly could not see him. My goodness me.

But today it is not snowing everywhere. Not even here.

Because it was a full of sunshine day. 

Mister Lyndon and his throw the snow away machine took away all the snow behind the fast car. 

That was a nice idea for us. 

After lunch went to the big bed to listen to his book. 

I kept him company. 

And his feet were as toasty as could be. He told me so.

Day Two Thousand and Seventy Nine

Miss Pancake 

​My goodness, what a day.

I was so busy. My goodness.

When Zita and I looked out the watching window this morning, we could not even see our pond.

Because there was a real snowing storm. Everywhere.

And when we went to get Niamh we nearly got stuck on my own street. 

Zita said that I was going to pull the car, but we got away, but the fast car got away all by itself.

And when we brought Niamh home, right away we had to go to visit my doctor. 

But when we got on the fast road the car in front of us went all round and round.

Zita said it did not have do not get stuck tires. That is silly. 

So we went on the slow road instead.

But it took a very long time to get to my hospital. 

And I had to watch for those round and round cars. My goodness. 

And my doctor gave me the same medicine that Poppy had. 

Maybe it is only for Bouviers medicine. Maybe.

Niamh had to go downtown for a meeting, even in the way too much snow.

Craig had a squeaky clean shower when we got home, because Miss Janet was going to be here today.

But she could not come today.

Because there was way too much snow even for her brand new truck. My goodness.

But Craig was still all clean. That was good. 

There was so much snow that Mister Fred was all covered up. My goodness. 

Zita had to go downstairs to move everything away in that room.

So the men can make it all ready for that new warm the house machine. 

When Craig had his another coffee he had some of his Scotsman cookies. 

And they were not round cookies, because they were long cookies. 

I got the tasty ends. Ha. 

Mister Lyndon and his throwing away the snow machine cleaned our sidewalk, and our driveway too. 

We had baby sausages for our dinner. 

And after Zita and I moved the too much snow from my side yard, it was detective time for us. 

That was good, because I was very tired.

Going to my hospital always makes me tired. It is known. 

Day Two Thousand and Seventy Eight

Miss Pancake 

​We went to the farm again today. And I had a very good time. 

But I did not see any of my friends. 

But we had a very good time anyway. 

But when we got home my tummy was a bit up set. And I had to go outside all the time. 

So Niamh and Tarryn came here with the fast car, so Zita and I could go to visit my little hospital.

And Niamh and Tarryn walked back to Tarryn’s new apartment. For their exercises.

So Craig had to mind the house all by himself. Oh dear. Too bad for him. 

But my Doctor was very busy with a very sick dog.

So the fast car is going to take us there tomorrow morning. 

Then Zita went downstairs, because some men are going to come here.

And they will get the special room all ready for the brand new warm our house machine. 

I minded Zita from the top of the stairs. 

Craig helped me too. 

We had that tasty pastas that Niamh made. 

And Craig gave me some rolls all around peas.

Then it was our bedtime. 

Day Two Thousand and Seventy Four

Miss Pancake. 

​My goodness, we had another busy day.

Because after breakfast a man came to talk to Zita about that brand new make the house hot machine.

So they went into the basement, but I could not go because I was way too busy helping my friend Niamh.

She did not get home until late late last night.

Because her dinner went on for a very long time, because of the delicious desserts.

That man said when we get a new machine they will make it so Niamh’s bedroom is not so very cold.

That is a good idea. 

When he was gone we all had our lunch. 

Except for Craig who was still listening to his new book. It is all about knights.

And one of them has a dog with only one eye. Oh dear. 

But he is still very big and very fierce.

If you are a knight, your lovely dog has to be very fierce. It is the rule.

And another knight has a giant wolf as his very best friend. My goodness. That is a good idea.

That is why Craig had a big sleep in.

Because he did not want to stop listening.

This afternoon Zita and Niamh and I were finding basement things to give away to nice people.

And we found a too tall bookcase. Ha. Maybe we will find more. Ha.

Two men came to our house with a very big round box for Colonel Dugal.

It was so very big two men needed to take it down the basement stairs into the Badger’s extra room.  

Dugal told me that it was never too early to get ready for Mister Burn’s birthday party. 

Festis said Dugal was so old he was at Mister Burn’s first birthday. My goodness.

Then Zita and Niamh made special and delicious pastas for our dinner time. 

Tonight is Niamh’s round and round dancing night, with her friends. 

I do not think she will be so late tonight, because they do not have desserts at that dancing place. 

I think we will watch the spies again. 

Or I might have a cosy nap between Craig and Zita. Ha.

Day Two Thousand and Seventy Three

Miss Pancake 

​I had a very nice day. 

Because I was very busy yesterday.

So when Zita went out for a delicious breakfast with Susan and Miss Chris I had a long relax.

Then Miss Dina came here to work with Niamh. 

So then I had to mind them in the living room. 

They are going to a table sheets restaurant tonight. 

And all the other people from their work are going too. My goodness.

And it will free. 

Because it is a for work dinner. 

So now they can wear their nice clothes. Ha.

When Zita got back Craig was still in bed. 

Because he found a very interesting brand new book. All about far far away India.

When we get way too hungry to cook, that nice man brings us lots of that from India food.

And I always get some of that very tasty squishy bread. That is my favourite. Ha. 

But when he was all awake and dressed I helped him with his muffin.

But it was the last one, because we ate them all. Oh well. 

We had a very nice dinner with only Craig and Zita for me to mind.

And we had those very delicious meatballs and spaghettis. 

Craig gave me one.

But Zita did not know. Ha. It was a secret meatball. 

Yesterday a giant box came to our house. 

And it was full of my own food. That was good. 

Then we watched those spies again. 

Day Two Thousand and Seventy Two

Miss Pancake 

​Zita and I had a very very busy day.

When we were all nearly awake and looked outside, there was even more lots of snow.

Because all night it was all the time snow. Oh dear me.

But when we went outside to take all the snow off the fast car, Mister Lyndon was there.

And he had his brand new throw the snow away machine. 

So it threw away all that too much snow from the end of our driveway. 

We said thank you. Because we are very polite.

Then the fast car took us to the farm.

And it was full of brand new snow too. My goodness me. 

So I practiced my very fast all around running.

Then there was another dog there too. I saw her from far away.

And it was Miss Pepper. And part of her was from Labrador. 

I do not know which part. Nobody told me.

They have lots of snow there, so she was very happy too. 

So we played chase all around in the snow. We had a very good time.

Maybe we will see her the next time at the farm.

When we got home Zita found some nasty knots in my furr.

So she got my special scissors and the next thing we knew we were at our own make me beautiful store.

Right in our kitchen. My goodness. 

So after a very long time I was even more beautiful.

But then I had to have a right up to my tummy bath. 

And then Zita found that hot air everywhere machine.

So I had to stay in the kitchen, and Craig was having a muffin in the living room. Too bad for me.

But then he saved a big piece for me. Ha.

That was because I keep his toes warm at night. Good for us. 

Zita had to have a shower, because she had some of my extra fur all over. Oh dear. 

After we had our dinner we had lots of time for our detectives.

But we did not watch detectives, we watched some spies. 

It was a bit scary last night, and I was tired, because I was very busy today.

So I went to sleep instead. 

Day Two Thousand and Seventy One

Miss Pancake 

​We had a very lovely quiet day today. 

Zita and I went to the farm. 

And we took Professor Jill too.

So she could see my fast running. 

When we got home we did not stay.

Because we went and found Niamh, but then they left me at our house. 

But I was in charge of the house, and Craig too.

They were gone so long even Craig was all dressed when they got home.

And they had boxes and boxes of beautiful wool, from far away sheeps. My goodness.

Because Zita and Niamh are going to be beautiful knitting people, just like Nana. Ha.

Then they sat at the dining room table and looked at all the pointy stick. 

And they laughed nearly all the time.

So I had to go into the office for my nap. 

Where it was quiet.

When Niamh went to Mister Tyler’s we had chillies for dinner. With those chillies muffins.

Craig gave me some, when I was under the table.

Then it was detective time for us. 

Day Two Thousand and Seventy

Miss Pancake 

​My goodness, we were very very busy this morning.

After I was all awake I got into the fast car and we went to catch my friend Niamh.

And she told me that they won at the hard questions restaurant last night.

And when we got home, Craig was all dressed. My goodness me.

He was fast awake because the wheelchair man came to look at the new chair. 

And he is going to take it away and make it perfect.

And change it, so I cannot turn the go fast engine on by myself. Ha.

Then Niamh made Scotsman’s porridge for everybody, especially the Badgers. 

And the wheelchair man fixed the bathtub machine too. My goodness me.

We did not go to the farm today.

Because it was a raining all the time day, so everything is too messy. 

Then another man came to make our basement hot air machine all neat and tidy.

So I had to mind him too.

But I helped Craig with our brand new tasty muffins. We put butter on them. 

When that man came upstairs he said that maybe the hot air machine needs to have a retirement. Oh dear.

Then Zita went outside to chop up the ice on our driveway.

I could not help. 

Because the chopper is too sharp and might catch me toes my mistake.

So I minded her from my living room windows.

Tonight is Niamh’s beautiful dancing night. That is her favourite dancing. 

Day Two Thousand and Sixty Eight

​Miss Pancake 

Miss Alexa said that maybe the outside would be nasty today.

So we went to the farm right away.

And we were there for a very long time. 

Because we are retired. Ha.

So I ran all over, and as fast as could be. Zita said so. 

When we got home Niamh was there.

But only for a little bit of time.

Because she and Dina had to go downtown to work with some other people, altogether.

Then Zita and I had our lunch together. 

I had my afternoon nap. 

Because of all my very fast running this morning.

When Craig had his coffee he did not have any tasty treats.

Because I was fast asleep, and could not help him finish those treats. Too bad for us. 

This afternoon Zita and I made delicious muffins. They are breakfast muffins. Those are my favourite.

Then we made chillies for our dinner. Chillies is Craig’s favourite. Ha. 

Day Two Thousand and Sixty Seven

Miss Pancake 

​I was very very busy this morning.

Because it was time to put all our very beautiful Merry Christmas decorations back in those big boxes. 

And then we put our Merry Christmas tree outside on the front lawn.

So the little birds can hide in it. Ha.

But now our living room is a bit very sad. 

And Niamh was very busy today, because she had an important meeting. 

Craig had a big sleep in, and he did not even listen to his book.

He was just all fast asleep.

But when he got up Mister Paul came for his coffee. 

And he did not even break anything when he was skiing with his two gran’sons. 

That is good.

Then my friend Lee came to visit me.

So the fast car took Zita and Niamh and Lee and I to our beautiful farm.

So we could do our fast running altogether. Ha.

I looked for a fast running stick, but I did not find one.

And I lost my own boots again.

But Niamh found them.

When we got home Mister Paul was gone.

But he looked at our stove and maybe fix it all up. 

Craig said fixing things is his favourite thing to do. 

My friend Dina came here so she and Niamh could go to the hard questions restaurant together.

We had fishes and some own made chips.

Then Susan came for a visit. 

So Craig went into the bedroom to listen to a new book. 

Day Two Thousand and Sixty Six

Miss Pancake 

​It was just a bit too cold today.

So I had to wear my boots, or I could not go to the farm. 

Zita said so. Oh well, too bad for me. 

So the fast car took us, and it was very glad to get toasty warm. Ha.

But Zita and I had a very good time, even with my silly boots on. 

It is lots of fun when I do my fast running in the snow.

And now I do not have to have my leash on.

Unless there is another dog there too.

When we got home Niamh was very busy in our office, so I was her helper.

And Craig had a squeaky clean shower. In that very slow chair. 

He had peanut butter and jams toast for lunch, and I helped him too.

Because it was not snowing, even a little bit, I took Zita and Niamh on a very long walk on our streets.

Then Zita had to go to her stretching exercises lady, so I minded everything here.

Even Craig and Niamh. 

Niamh and I were very busy this afternoon. 

Tonight is Niamh’s round and round dancing class, so she was very busy tonight too. 

I minded Craig and Zita and Niamh for dinner. 

And we had ham with cheese toasties. 

Craig gave me a big piece. 

But nobody saw. Ha. Good for us. 

And after that we went to bed. 

Day Two Thousand and Sixty Five

​Miss Pancake 

My goodness me. It was a back to work day for everybody. 

So when Zita went out to do her important errands I minded Craig and Niamh all by myself. 

Because it was back to work for us.

When Zita got back home, Craig got up so we could have a together Christmas treats lunch.

And Craig had his coffee too.

Then Niamh had to have an empty head rest, so Zita and I took her on a lovely around here walk.

But I had to put my boots on.

Because it was an all the time snowy day out side. 

But when we got back to our house Zita and I moved lots of the too much snow.

I was her very best minder dog. It is known.

But then I had to stay in the kitchen with Zita, because we were  all covered in that snow.

When Niamh’s work was all finished, she went to Tarryn’s new apartment.

To help her move everything everywhere, until it was perfect. 

And she took all the stuff Tarryn left in our basement too. My goodness me. 

We had very tasty from Italy sausages for our dinner, then we went into the big bedroom to watch a new detective program. 

Day Two Thousand and Sixty Four

Miss Pancake 

​We had a very nice quiet day today.

Because there was just us here. And we were very quiet.

So Zita and I went downstairs so we could make everything neat and tidy. 

I was her very best helper.

And Zita talked to her in far away Dublin parents. I had my nice nap.

Then we went for a very long all around my streets. 

But we did not see any of my friends. Oh well.

When Craig got up we had Merry Christmas treats. 

Because we still have lots and lots of them. Ha. 

And even two coffees.

Then I minded Craig when Zita went to the busy street to get some brand new bread.

Maybe it is the special for toasts bread. Maybe. 

When Zita came home she brought Susan with her. 

My friends the Badgers are feeling much better today.

Dugal said they had way too much cock-a-leaky soup, after Hogmanay.

Craig told me that unless it came in Glenmorangie bottles he would be surprised. Oh dear.

I will not tell the Badgers that. My goodness no.  

After our own dinner it was detective time for us. 

With brand new sheets. 

Brand new sheets are my favourite. 

Day Two Thousand and Sixty Three

​Miss Pancake 

My goodness me. 

Our house is all empty.

Because there is only Craig and Zita and me here.

Because last night, after our dinner, Emmet found the aeroplane to Ireland.

It was just there, waiting for them. Ha. 

And because that aeroplane did not get lost, now Emmet and Alice are in their apartment.

And it is so cold they have hot water bottles. My goodness me.

And Niamh and Tyler are helping Tarryn move in to her new apartment. 

So we are all alone.

But this morning Zita and I went to the farm and I had a giant run all around.

But I lost my red boots.

But Zita found them. Oh well. 

And I got a bit full of snow.

So when I got home I had to stay on my towel and get melted.

But then Craig was all awake so, I helped him with some Merry Christmas cookies.

And I minded him when Zita went to do her errands. 

When she was home, we talked to Miss Joan and Mister Ross, but Andrea was not there.

Because she is very busy at her hospital, just like Alice, but it is not the same hospital. 

She is going to come and visit me, when she is not all the time busy. 

We had lots of little tasty treats for our dinnertime, then we watched our detectives, right in our comfy bed.

Day Two Thousand and Sixty One

My goodness me, when I went outside this morning my own nose got nearly all frozen.

So I came right back in.

So Zita and I did not go for any walks today.

Because of the way too cold.

When Niamh came home she had a surprise.

And it was a brand new clean the floor machine.

And it was hers. It was a secret present from herself. Ha.

It does not look like ours at all.

Maybe it is a not so very scary one. Maybe.

It is for when she gets her very own place to live. Oh dear me. 

I do not think that is such a very good idea.

But I went downstairs to help Niamh make her bedroom all neat and tidy.

But it was so full up with everything I came upstairs. 

Because I was afraid I would be in a big bag too.

My Emmet was very busy packing all their presents, and Doctor Alice’s too, in his big bag.

Because tonight Zita and the fast car took him to our aeroport where the do not ever get lost aeroplanes live.

And tomorrow he will be all the way back to that Cork city. 

In his own apartment with Alice. My goodness.

But he had his dinner here with me and Craig and Zita and Niamh.

Because dinners on those aeroplane is not so very tasty. 

When I was on the aeroplane I had my own dinner with me. 

From the very nice for dogs only hotel. Ha.

Then Zita and the fast car took him to our aeroport. 

But Emmet told me that in the summer time they are going to be here, to tell everybody an important story.

At Mister Saint Francis’s university. My goodness. 

Then Zita and Niamh went to the grocery store so Tyler would not starve.

But when she got back to my house it was past our detective time.

Because it was go to sleep time for us. Ha. 

Day Two Thousand and Sixty

​My goodness me.

My friends the badgers were ever so happy last night.

Because the very first person to come into our house last night was my friend Emmet.

And because they are tall and nearly as black as me, they were the very best First Footer.

So Fistis told me that it is very important to have the proper First Footer. 

Or maybe The Cú Sidgh might eat all your sheeps. My goodness me. 

But his brother told me that it silly, because we do not have any of them here. 

Because we have those scary white bears, and giant moose instead. 

We did not go for even one walk today.

Because it was way too cold for my all my feets

So we stayed in the toasty warm house, then we drove Emmet to the all day long dragons game. 

So then Niamh was at Tyler’s, so there was just us here.

Mister Clifford took us to get a for free warm as could be jeans. 

Then we had all our yesterday’s used dinner, before we went to watch our detectives.
