Day Nine Hundred and Forty Three

Miss Pancake 

We had a very quiet morning today, because of all the work we have to do.

So I was a bit busy minding Niamh in the living room when she had her toasts.

And I was busy being Zita best helper too.

When Craig was finished listening to his book I helped him with his lunchtime.

And he had two of those angry buns. And they were brand new. 

After I had my lunch I went into our office and minded Zita while I had my afternoon nap.

On our comfy office sofa.

After a while I took my friends Zita and Niamh on a very nice around here walk. 

I was very excited, because it was a just for ladies walk. Ha. 

And we all had our black coats on, so we all matched. Ha. Good for us. 

There was not even a bit of freezie rain today, because it was not even a bit cold.

And everything was melting again. So everywhere was a bit messy.

When I was all dry as a chip I helped Craig make his peanut butter and honey sandwich.

And he made me my own sandwich too. 

And it was the crunchy end. Crunchy bread is my favourite. 

Then I went back to help Zita, in our comfy office. 

Niamh went downstairs to talk to far away people on her computer.

It was a quiet day for us. 

When working was all done Zita and Niamh went shopping for a brand new going swimming suit.

But they could not find any very beautiful ones. 

But they found me a present. And it was a brand new ball.

Because I chewed my other one all away. 

So I was very very excited. 

And I ran all over the house with it. Ha.

Then we had another delicious dinner. With lots of pastas cheese. 

Everybody ate everything, but Craig got me some refrigerator cheese. Ha.

Craig had to find a new detective program for us. That is his best job. 

So Zita and Niamh and I all got on the comfy sofa to watch the detectives together.

But I well to asleep right away.  

Asleep on the sofa is my favourite time. It is an easy job for me. 

Day Nine Hundred and Forty Two

Miss Pancake 

We had a very quiet morning today.

But we did not go to our farm because it was a freezie rain day. 

And if you go out in the freezie rain you will just fall down and have a soggy bottom. 

So we had a nice quiet relax. 

Zita looked at important papers for Craig’s mother and I minded her. 

When Craig was all awake and I had my lunch, he had his coffees and a muffin.

Muffins are very tasty and they have lots of crumbs too. Ha.

Mister Paul came over with some very long lights for the basement. 

And now Zita can see everything everywhere. Ha. 

Mister Paul is going to far away England again, and then he is going to Spain.

Because they have sunshine in Spain. 

I think all the sunshine in England goes to Spain for its vacation. 

Then we went to the farm for our before dinnertime exercises.

But we only stayed for a little bit, because it was way too icy all over.

And I did not want to fall down and get a sore bottom. 

So we got into the fast car and found my best friend Niamh at Mister Tyler’s apartment. 

And we brought her back here. Ha. That was a very good idea.

Because as soon as Zita and Niamh got here they made another very delicious dinner.

But I could not help, because they had to use Craig’s very very sharp pointy knives. 

To cut things all up into little pieces. Especially the delicious sausages.

So I just went into my little house and minded them.

I told them that sausages are my favourite too. Ha.

When our dinners were all finished, Niamh practiced her guitar, and Zita listened, because she can nearly play beautifully. 

We watched the end of our very good detective program. 

And Craig and Zita had lots of Peggy’s delicious apple pies.

The program was a bit long.

Because when I woke up it was our bedtimes. 

So we went right to our beds. 

Because tomorrow it is a go to work day. 

Day Nine Hundred and Forty One

Miss Pancake

Oh my goodness me. 

When I got up from my comfy bed, Zita opened the side door and just like that there was lots of snow all over everywhere. 

When we looked out the windows in the living room I saw that poor Mister Fred was all covered in snow again.  

Miss Alexa was right. My goodness.

There was all the time snow last night. 

So we sat in the living room and Zita talked to her mother and father. They were in their house in way far away Ireland. 

But not where Emmet lives, or cousin Lucy and Auntie Eileen, or cousin Emma, or cousin Ciara and Miss Sally live.

My family lives all over everywhere in Ireland. But not in Donegal.

Because Zita says nobody lives in that place. Because of the too much wind. 

She said you have to have wings to live there. Oh well. 

After a while Professor Jill came for a visit and some treats and coffees.

Craig did not get up until it was my lunch time.

Because he was very tired, because we had a very sad time.

And sad times make you very tired. 

That is why I got up on the bed to keep him company and his feet toasty warm. 

That is a very good job for me.

After I had my lunch Craig went in den and we had a very lovely muffin. 

Then it was just the right time for Zita and I to go to the farm.

Because the fast car had to get all that snow taken off.

Because it cannot see where it is going when it is covered in snow.

So when it was a clean we all went to the farm. 

And I had a very very good time.

Because I was doing my fast running in the brand new snow.

So we stayed there for a long time.

But then there was a puppy, who was not a good listener. 

And it wanted to grab Zita’s fluffy gloves. 

And it jumped up on her. That was not so polite at all. 

So told it to go home. Very loudly. 

The lady came up, but she did not know about dogs. 

So Zita took me back to the fast car,  before I forgot I was a very polite dog. Ha.

When I got home I was full of snow, so I went into the bathtub to get lovely warm toes. Ha. 

Then Zita went outside to move some of the too much snow away. 

And after a little while it was everybody's  dinner time. 

We had pastas, so I got some pastas cheese. Ha.

Then it was our detective time. 

And we had even more apple pie. Ha.

Then it was our bedtime again.

Because we have a bedtime every night. 

It is our best rule. 

Day Nine Hundred and Thirty Five

Miss Pancake 

My friend Craig’s mother went to heaven this morning, when it was still dark outside.

The very nice nurse called us on the telephone to tell us, so then we told Auntie Jane. 

But before she knew it, her own mother was already in far far away heaven. 

I hope Miss Poppy found her right away.

So we were all awake very early this morning, even Craig, and after he made his coffees he made Zita her favourite fluffy coffee. 

Then Zita went to find Auntie Jane and Uncle George up on the busy street.

Because they had to look at some important papers, all about Craig’s mother. Oh dear.

And we told my friends Emmet and Niamh too. 

So everybody was a bit very sad. Me too.

Because I do not like it when my family is sad. 

And it is my job to get them all happy again. 

I am very good at that. Everybody says so.

Then Craig and I sat in the living room and looked out the windows. 

I sat up on my comfy chair. 

So I could see everything all over everywhere. And my friend Craig too. 

But when Zita came home she and Craig had coffees and talked some more. 

But not for a very long time, because it was time for the fast car to take us to the farm.

We stayed there for a long time, because it takes a very long time to forget the sads. 

We did not go to the farm for a lot of days.

Because has been a very busy time in my house.

And as soon as we got home Zita and the fast car went to get some beers.

Because tonight we had a special dinner.

With Auntie Jane and Uncle George and Tyler and Niamh and Mister Paul, and us. 

And we had a together giant dinner, with delicious from very far away China foods. Ha. 

We had those rolled up eggs.They are my favourite. 

Because Craig always gives me the crunchy bits at the end. Ha. 

And when everybody was gone it was our bedtime. Ha.

Day Nine Hundred and Forty

Miss Pancake

We had a very lovely quiet day today.

Because everybody was very very busy.

Niamh was busy fixing someone’s writing in the basement, and Tarryn was in the dining room doing her university homework.

Zita and I were in our comfy office, because there was lots of new rascal ladies work. 

Craig had a lovely sleep in today. 

Because he was up very early for lots of other days.

After he got me my lunch he made his too much coffees and we had a tasty muffin right in the den.

Then our friend Miss Peggy came over for a visit, and to talk about Craig’s mother. 

And she brought us an apple pie. 

It was one of the especially delicious apple pies from the busy street shop. 

And it is even called The life Of Pies. 

That is how you know it is a very delicious pie. Ha. 

After she went to her house we all went back to our work. 

Because we had a very busy day, all day long too. Oh well. 

When our work was all over we went to the grocery store to get lots of delicious food for us and Niamh. 

Because Miss Alexa told us that tomorrow is going to be a full of snow day. 

So we needed to have lots of tasty food so we can just have a lovely relax and look out the windows. 

We had very tasty hams and cheese sandwiches and I got some very delicious hams.

Then we watched our very good detective program,and we had some of that very tasty apple pie too.

And they had lots of cream on top, and I got to lick Craig’s plate. 

Then when we were all filled up, it was our bedtime.

So we went to fast asleep. 

Day Nine Hundred and Thirty Nine

Miss Pancake 

We had a quiet day today.

After breakfasts we went and got Niamh from Tyler’s apartment.

But last night they did not even win a little at the hard questions restaurant. Oh well.

And Tarryn came over too. 

And everybody had bacons sandwiches. 

So we had two breakfasts. Ha.

Craig did not even have a sleep in.

Because he had to visit the nice lawyer all about his mother. 

But he had a way too sick tummy. 

Because of some of his medicine.

So Zita went by her self and then the lawyer and Zita talked to Craig. He was in the den. 

The fast car took Niamh downtown to work will her working friends.

And tonight they are all going out to a nice restaurant. 

To talk altogether. And have too many tasty desserts. Ha. 

But she was not here for dinner. Too bad for her.

After my lunch Zita was not so busy, and I was not busy and Mister Clifford was not even a bit busy, so we went to the farm.

It was a very very filled up with sunshine afternoon. It was not no very cold either.

So we had a very very good time. 

I did lots of fast running practicing. 

Mister Clifford was a bit worried that my friend Craig did not come with us. 

Because Craig always goes with Mister Clifford. 

But Zita told home that Craig just had a little bit of a sick tummy. 

So then Mister Clifford was not worried. Me either. 

When I got home it was bath time for me.

Because there was only lots of mud at the farm today. 

Then it was time for my afternoon nap. 

Zita talked to people on the telephone about important papers. 

When it was dinnertime we had all the extra food from last nights special tasty dinner.

Then we watched the very good brand new detective program. 

But we went to bed early because we were all too tired to watch more. 

Day Nine Hundred and Thirty Eight

Miss Pancake

Everybody got up very early this morning.

Because today Zita’s friends took Craig’s mother to the lovely garden, where her own sign is. 

And we went too. 

Auntie Jane and Uncle George came and put some pictures in their long car. 

And then Paul came and Mister Clifford took him and Craig and Zita to the lovely garden. 

Niamh and the fast car found Mister Tyler downtown, so he could be there too. 

So everybody was there, and Brenda too. 

Mister Clifford took my friend Craig right there. 

Not even far away from the special sign. 

Tyler told me everybody said lovely things about Craig’s mother, and Niamh read an old poem. 

And when everybody was all quiet it was all over.

So Auntie Jane and Uncle George got in their long car, and went back to their own house. In Toronto. 

I stayed right here. 

Because Zita asked me to help my friend Tarryn with her university homework. 

That is a very important job. 

So I stayed right beside her under the dining room table. 

But when everybody got home we had a party. 

And it was not even a bit at night.

But we had all the treats in the whole world, croissants, and sticky buns, and cinnamon buns and even very tasty cheese.

There were very big muffins too. But we did not have them.

Maybe they are for our breakfasts. Maybe. 

And everybody had coffees and sat in the living room and talked and looked at very old pictures too.

I was very polite and Craig gave me three bits of cheese. And a strawberry.

But big strawberries are hard to eat, because they pop out of your mouth. But I did it all by myself anyway. Ha. 

Then Brenda and Paul went home.

So Zita and Niamh and Tarryn and I got in the fast car. 

And we went to our very favourite farm. All of us together. Ha. 

Craig stayed home and said he was going to listen to happy music from far away places. 

And when we got back nobody was sad anymore.

Because we were at the farm, running all around, as fast as could be. Even Niamh and Tarryn. Ha. 

The farm always makes everybody happy. It is our rule. Ha.

And then Niamh and Tarryn and Zita made a very special dinner. 

To say goodbye to Craig’s mother. So they had lots of wines. Ha. 

Mister Jamie had his dinner here too. 

Then they had to go to the hard questions restaurant. To find Tyler.

So Craig and Zita and I watched a brand new mystery program.

Then we went right to bed.

Because it was a very long day for us. 

Day Nine Hundred and Thirty Seven

Miss Pancake 

Zita and I had to go to work today, so we only went for an around here walk.

But there was not even one snow storm today. Ha.

When we got home we went into our own office and Niamh came upstairs to do her work too.

In the living room.

So I had to be the best helper for both of them.

When Craig got up he had his too much coffees in the den. 

And he had two Scotsman’s oatmeal cookies. 

So I had to help him too. 

After my lunch Zita went and found Craig’s go fast chair. 

It was at the wheelchair garage. 

But now it is all fixed up again.

But Craig said it is getting nearly old. My goodness.

Maybe he can find a new very fast one. Fast like a car maybe. Ha. 

Maybe it should be all red, because red cars are very fast. It is known. 

After she was at the nice university Tarryn came to visit me. That was nice.

She had dinner here with Niamh and me. 

But it was just them for me to mind.

Because tonight Craig and Zita went to a real restaurant for dinner. 

And Auntie Jane and Uncle George went there too. 

It is a very delicious restaurant.

I know that, because at that restaurant you have to tell them you want to eat there, or there will no room for you. Ha.

I stayed right here so I could mind Niamh when she was guitar practicing. 

My friend Tarryn was practicing her guitar too. My goodness.

When Craig and Zita got home we watched our detective program until it was nearly my bedtime. 

 So we went to bed altogether.

Because it was a very long day. 

Day Nine Hundred and Thirty Six

Miss Pancake 

We did not get up so very early this morning, because our together party went very very long.

And Craig nearly forgot all about my dinner, so I did not have my dinner until it was nearly my bedtime. 

Then everybody went home, except for us and Niamh.

So we all went to fast fast asleep. 

But when we opened the side door this morning, there was a giant windy snowstorm, all over.

So when I came in I had to wait in the kitchen, because I was all snowy. Oh well.

Zita was very busy this morning, talking to people about Craig’s mother.

Because of all the paper. 

I did not know that you needed so many pieces of paper when you went all the way to heaven .

It is easier for dogs, because we just go to heaven right away.

Maybe Mister Saint Newton has all those papers. Maybe. 

Niamh was very busy will all her important work.

When Craig was all awake Zita and I went to our farm.

So I could practice my fast running and Zita could have a brand new empty head. 

After my lunch Mister Clifford took him and Zita out to lovely garden, where there is a sign.

And Craig’s father’s name is on it. So now Craig’s mother can be there too. 

Because her name will be on the sign too. My goodness me.

I stayed here to mind Niamh and then Tarryn came over, so I minded her too.

We were very busy today.

This afternoon all the brand new snow all melted. Ha. That was a silly snowstorm. 

When my friend Mister Clifford came back home he brought Craig and Zita too. Ha.

And after I reminded Craig it was my dinnertime it was time to eat all our extras from China food. 

And those very crunchy eggs rolled up. Ha. 

When that dinner was all over I got two pieces of eggs rolled up.

Then Zita and Niamh went downstairs to look at Gramma’s own made pictures. 

She painted them herself.

Then it was our bed time. 

I was glad it was bedtime. Because I had a very busy day. 

Day Nine Hundred and Thirty Four

Miss Pancake 

We got up early this morning, because Zita had to go to Mister Rogers’s make you beautiful shop. 

To get her hair cut. But not all off. That is good. 

So I got up on the big comfy bed and kept Craig company. 

When he was all dressed Zita got home. 

And we had coffee together.

Then Zita went up to visit Craig’s mother and to keep Auntie Jane company.

Uncle George came for a little visit and to have some coffees.

But I did not know him, so I stayed in the den on my comfy sofa. 

Then he went to take Auntie Jane to lunch, and Zita came home to have some of those angry buns. 

Because it is angry buns time. My goodness me. 

We had those buns last year too. 

I got some. They were a bit sticky.  

Then we talked to my friend Emmet on Craig’s flat computer. 

Dr. Alice was at her mother’s visiting the cats. Oh well. 

We talked to Emmet about his Grandma, because she is going to the very far away heaven pretty soon.

Tonight when everybody is fast asleep I will talk to my friend Miss Poppy.

So she can be right there at the front door, when Emmet’s grandma gets there. 

Craig said there is only a front door, so people do not get lost. That is a good idea,

Maybe Emmet’s grandma will remember that Poppy is a lovely lady Bouvier, not a boy. 

My big smelly brothers are boy Bouviers. 

Because she always forgot Poppy is a lady. My goodness me. 

Miss Poppy will show her all the very delicious restaurants and hotels right on the beach. Ha. 

Then Emmet had to go to get dinner all ready. 

So Zita went up to keep Auntie Jane company while they watched Craig’s mother. 

My friend Niamh came over, and she put my special blanket on the living room sofa.

So I could sit on it and keep her toasty warm. Ha. 

But then I got too hot and went too fast asleep on the floor.

When Zita got home we had toasty cheesies for our dinner. They are our favourites. 

Then Zita took Niamh to Mister Tyler’s apartment, and then she went to visit Craig’s mother for a bit.

Craig watched his hockey game, but I had a sleep until Zita got home.

Then it was our bedtime. 

Day Nine Hundred and Thirty Three

Miss Pancake. 

I was only a bit too busy today.

But I did not go to my bed until way past my bedtime.

Because Craig and Sita and Paul and Auntie Jane talked for a very long time.

This morning Auntie Jane went to visit her mother right after our breakfast.

But when I was in my watching chair Mister Festis tried to jump down. But he missed and just fell over.

Zita said that he had a bit too much Champagne last night. Oh dear. 

So she went to get him some feel better medicine. 

But I nearly jump off my chair. 

So then Zita and I got in the fast car and went to the farm.

But before we got there my friend Niamh needed a ride back to our house.

Because she has lots and lots of very important work to do.

Then after she was home we went to our farm.

It was a very nice full of lots and lots of real sunshine day. 

Because there was not even one cloud.

But it was not so warm today.

So I practiced my very fast running, so I was toasty warm when we got home. 

But I was a bit soggy. Oh well.

Craig was all dressed when we got home, and Niamh was still very busy.

So Zita went up the street to keep Auntie Jane company. 

Craig’s mother is still very fast asleep. 

When you are very old you can have all day sleep in and nobody minds. 

Craig and I had a peanut butter sandwich and soft bread. Ha.

Then I went into my own office to help Niamh with her work. 

When Zita came back she brought Brenda too. 

So she could have some tea and biscuits. And visit me too.

And when she went home Zita and Niamh went to the grocery store. 

So our house and Tyler apartment would have delicious food inside the refrigerator. Ha.

I stayed here to keep my friend Craig company. And have my own dinner. 

When Zita got home we had chicken and I got a big piece of pastas cheese. 

Then Zita went to visit Craig’s mother for a little bit.

And when got home we had cookies and watched our detective program, until our bedtime. 

Day Nine Hundred and Thirty Two

Miss Pancake

We were a bit busy again today.

Zita did not have to go to work downtown today, but we did not go to our farm.

Because it was very rainy outside. 

When Auntie Jane got up she made her coffee all by herself. Ha.

Then she went to visit her mother in the little apartment.

Zita and I went to find Niamh. The fast car took us. 

But when we got home the fast car did not stay, because it was busy taking Niamh to important errands.

I stayed here and minded Zita in our office.

Craig was not awake until my own lunch time.

Because he did not sleep so much last night. 

But I kept his feet toasty even when he was awake. 

Because that is my best at nighttime job.

Auntie Jane brought us tasty delicious cookies.

And Craig and I had some for his breakfast. 

Then I went back to be Zita’s very best helper assistant. 

And have my afternoon naps. On the comfy office sofa. 

We have so many comfy sofas in my house, even lots in the basement. 

And one in Niamh’s bedroom is a very big bed too. Sometimes I sleep there too. Ha. 

When our work was all over we went down to look at a place.

Because maybe Emmet and Miss Doctor Alice will have a just for nice friends party there. Maybe.

Then Zita took Niamh to Tyler’s apartment, because he and Niamh are going to a hockey game tonight.

And it will be on our own televisions, but I did not see them. Oh well.

Mister Paul came here for dinner. And to say hello to Auntie Jane. 

I think she is going to sleep here again tonight. Just like Auntie Eileen did. Ha. 

Day Nine Hundred and Thirty One

Miss Pancake 

I was another day for me to be very busy.

Zita has to go downtown to work again. My goodness.

So I had to be Niamh’s helper all by myself. 

And when Craig was all dressed he talked to my friend Miss Erin. 

On Niamh computer.

And she had not had her coffee either. My goodness.

So Craig told her she had to take better care of herself. Ha. That is true.

Then when he had his coffee we had all the croissants for our breakfast.

But there were not so very many of them. 

So we put them in the stove so they would be toasty. Ha. 

That is a good breakfast. 

Then I went back in our office to help Niamh and Erin with the very hard work. 

When Zita came home and she made lunchtime toasts for Niamh. 

Because she always forgets to have her own lunch. Too bad for her.

Then Zita and the fast car went to see Auntie Jane. 

Maybe they will have a tasty lunch.

Maybe Zita will bring home extras.

Craig and I had a very nice quiet afternoon. 

But we found some extra pizza in the refrigerator. 

Because Niamh and Sach got way too much.

So we had it for our lunch. And I got a crunchy bit.

Today is my friend Tarryn’s very own birthday. 

And all her friends had a sing happy birthday party at the hard questions restaurant.

And Niamh got a special cake for her. And it had her name on it. My goodness.

And the nosy Jeep and Miss Sach brought it to the restaurant. Ha.

When Auntie Jane got back from visiting her mother Mister Tony’s friend brought us pizza for our dinner. 

So Craig and I had pizzas for our lunch and our dinner. My goodness me. That was a good idea.

Then Craig and Zita and Auntie Jane talked until past }my bedtime.

And then Auntie Jane went downstairs to the special for Aunties bedroom. 

And we went into our bedroom to go to fast asleep. 

Day Nine Hundred and Thirty

Miss Pancake 

My goodness. We had a very very busy morning. 

My Zita had to go to work downtown again today, but first she went to visit Craig’s mother.

So I had to help Craig get his T-shirt on the right way by myself. 

But we got it on and it was just perfect.

So we had three croissants, and a cookie. 

Then my Niamh came home because, of all her important work with my friend Miss Erin. 

I stayed with her in our office. That is my favourite job. 

Then Craig talked to auntie Jane, because she is going to visit me.

What a busy morning I had. 

Everybody was so busy we forgot my lunchtime. Even me too.

But then Craig remembered for me. Ha. 

Then I went in our lovely office, to be Niamh’s best helper.

When Zita got home she and Niamh went out in the fast car, to do some important errands. 

So I stayed here so I could mind Craig. We had another cookie. 

And then we looked out our together window.

Mister Fred is already guarding our beautiful patio. Ha. 

When Zita and Niamh got back, Zita and Craig and Mister Clifford went to do their own errands. My goodness me.

Then my friends Tarryn and Sach came to visit me. 

So I guarded all the ladies until Craig and Zita and Mister Clifford came home.

Then Niamh and Sach and Tarryn went to the especially delicious pizzas store. 

For their dinnertime. 

And when they were all finished there was extra for Craig and I to have a big piece for our breakfast. Ha. 

But I got in a bit of trouble, because of Craig’s tasty gloves. Oh well. 

We had toasts and fluffy eggs. 

Then we watched the detectives.

It was a very busy day for me, 

Day Nine Hundred and Twenty Nine

Miss Pancake 

We did not go to the farm this morning, but we had a very nice walk anyway. 

Because Zita had to go way downtown to work today. My goodness me. That is not so nice.

And Niamh and Miss Erin were very busy too. 

But Craig was just listening to his book.

But the doctor said his mother is still a bit not so very well. 

She does not want to eat even tasty food. Oh dear.

It was not such a nice day outside, because there was not even a bit of beautiful sunshine.

But a nice man knocked right on our door this morning. 

And he brought a beautiful for the sunshine parasol for our Doctor Alice.

And it came from very very far away Japan. 

Because when she and my best friend Emmet get all married, she will have it to keep the sunshine away.

Because they do not have so much sunshine in far away Ireland.

So there are umbrellas to keep the sunshine away, and umbrellas to keep the rain away. 

But not so many of those in Ireland. Oh well.

Today is Mister Saint Patrick’s Day. I think he is a friend on Mister Saint Newton. 

Because dogs do not like snakes so much either. Ha. 

Lots of people think that they are all Irish today, but they are not. 

They just say they are. 

But they are wrong. Ha.

Zita and Emmet and Niamh and Doctor Alice are Irish. 

Because when they go to Ireland they do not have to wait in long long lineups at the aeroport. They just go in. Ha. 

And Emmet and Miss Doctor Alice live there, in Cork. In a very nice apartment. My goodness.

I even saw that apartment on Craig’s telephone. Ha. But I did not see Emmet there. Oh well. 

Emmet is teaching today at his very old university.

They even have their own bridge at that university and there is not even any snow there. 

And Doctor Alice is practicing her sewing people up at her hospital. They are very busy too. 

Craig is only a pretend Scotsman, Dugal and Festis and Furrgus are real Scotsmen. 

Because they have their own castles, right in Scotland and they have big pointy swords. 

And Colonel Dugal is a Duke and he has a Duke uniform, just for him. 

The old Queen told him he was a Duke, but he cannot tell anyone why. 

It is a famous secret. Ha. 

And they have very big barrels of very very old whiskey, in the other room in the basement.

It was made by aunt Elseabeth’s own company. On a far away island. Ha.

All the lovely Bouvier dogs came from far away France. That is why croissants are my favourite. 

So Craig and I had four little croissants for our lunchtime. Then it was time for my nap. 

Niamh and Tyler are going to a pub tonight, with some friends. 

Because of Mister Saint Patrick.

When Zita came home she visited Craig’s mother. And she even had some apple juice for her dinner. 

And she brought home some downtown sandwiches. And we had them for our early dinner. 

And I got a very big piece of chicken and some bacons too.

Then we went into the den to watch our detectives program. 

Day Nine Hundred and Twenty Eight

Miss Pancake 

It was sleep in Sunday.

Zit and I had a little sleep in, Craig had a big sleep in.

After Zita and I had our breakfasts, Zita talked to her mother and father in far away Ireland.

It is spring time there. My goodness. There are even beautiful flowers there. 

Then Susan came over for her biscuits and some coffee. 

Then Craig was up and after he got my lunch he made his lots of coffee.

Zita went to visit Craig’s mother, because the very nice nurse said that his mother was not feeling so very well. Oh dear.

Then she went to the very nice grocery store to find lots of delicious things so we would not starve.

Mister Tom brought us lots of new detectives programs.

He and Craig talked for a long time, but he did not come in for coffee.

But he is going to take his very fast as can be motorcycle to the fast motorcycle shop.

So it will all ready for the summertime. He said it needed faster tires. My goodness. 

It will be summertime soon because the too much snow is all melty. 

I even saw Mister Fred this morning. Not all of him, just his eyes. 

When Zita got home we went to the farm, right away, so the rain would not catch us. 

We were there a long time, because we met Doctor Rachel’s mother. 

And she told me that Rachel has some lovely dogs, and a real horse. 

She should get my giant brothers to mind her horse. My goodness. That is their best job. 

It was very very muddy at my farm, so when I home I was as muddy as could be. 

So I had to go right into our bathtub. 

But then we had a very delicious dinner. And my friend Niamh was here too. 

So we had a very good together time.

Then Niamh went to her comfy bed.

Because she was very tired after being in the far far away mountains.

So I watched the detectives with Craig and Zita until I fell fast asleep. 

Day Nine Hundred and Twenty Seven

Miss Pancake 

It was another beautiful day outside today.

I knew it as soon as I put my nose outside.

After our breakfasts we went for a little walk. 

But only a little walk, because to day is a spic and span our house day.

I was Zita best helper. I guarded her when that noisy floor machine was all over the house.

And we made our very famous and delicious from Ireland bread. Ha. 

Craig could not have any. Because it was way too hot. 

He went to see his friends, but they were all outside in the very beautiful sunshine. Oh well, 

But I did not have my lunch at lunchtime.

Because Zita and I were finished making the whole house as beautiful as could be, we went to the farm.

The fast car was already too, so we went as fast as could be. Ha. 

There were way too many people where I usually do my best running.

So we went over to where the giant hole lives.

And I ran all around as fast as anything. And when I was all finished Zita brushed me so I was all beautiful.

And I looked at all those very big hole making machines.

Then we came back to our house and we had our lunch. 

Craig and Zita had little rollups.

And I had my nap, but I had to move, before I was awake.

Because Craig and Zita had to take the old music boxes away and put the new ones there. 

And I had to listen to them and tell them which was best. 

That was a nice idea. 

But I just thought they were taller. Oh well.

Craig and Zita were very happy and Zita took the old boxes downstairs so they could have a nice rest.

And then Craig helped Festis and Furrus with their bonnets. 

Because they were a bit squished. 

They were very happy, because everybody wants to look as nice as can be.

Except Craig. He is very happy if his T-shirt on the right way. Oh well. Too bad for him.

Then Zita went to that shop, so Tyler’s sister can help her get the most beautiful glasses. 

Niamh and Tyler came to visit me.

Tyler bought play hockey clothes. 

Because in the summertime he is going to play hockey with Mister Jamie. My goodness. 

They had to come here to get Tarryn’s birthday secret present.

Because they are going to a place to roll balls at pieces of wood.

And have a party there. My goodness. 

But you cannot throw the balls. It is the rule. 

This afternoon Zita was in the basement for a long time.

She was finding all her sewing stuff and putting everything in just the right boxes.

But she is not even a bit finished. Oh dear.

We had bacons for dinner. And eggs with our own Irish bread. Ha.

Then we watched our new detective program. 

And I fell asleep again. Oh well. 

Day Nine Hundred and Twenty Six

Miss Pancake 

We did not have a sleep in today.

Because it is still a work day, so we went out for a nice around here walk. 

But it was so beautiful outside we decided to go to my farm instead.  

The fast car was very happy too. 

When we got there we had the very best time. 

I practiced my very best fast running and without my leash. 

It was a bit very muddy. 

Oh well. 

When we got home we were only a very little bit late for our work. But we did not care.

Because it was a beautiful day.

And when we got home Craig was all dressed. My goodness.

He was all awake because a nice lady came to our house to make his toes beautiful.

There is a lady who makes my toes beautiful too.

But they are not the same lady. 

After Craig’s toes were all perfect we had very delicious toasty bagels 

And I helped him. 

I had already had my own lunch. And I got popcorns on my lunch. 

Maybe because it was a beautiful day. Maybe.

When we were all finished our work we decided to go to the farm again.

Because it was a very beautiful day and it was not cold at all. 

Craig did not go because he wanted to keep his toes all beautiful. Too bad for him.

But we had a good time anyway. 

Because it was very beautiful outside 

It was nearly dinner time when we got home. 

We had to find a new detective program.

Because last night we watched that one to the end. 

After dinner Zita went for a just around here walk with Miss Bethany. 

And when she came home Craig found a new detective program. 

And this program has two detectives. 

And they and all their families were right here when there was nobody else here.

And that is a very long long time. 

But I was very tired.

Because I was fast running two times today.

So I had a very nice beside Zita nap.

Until it was my bedtime. 

Day Nine Hundred and Twenty Five

Miss Pancake 

We had to go back to our work today.

Because our Auntie Eileen vacation was over.

So after our good morning walk, and our breakfast, we went into our office and were very busy.

Craig was not so busy because he was listening to his story.

But then he was all dressed and found my breakfast right away.

Even before he had his good morning coffee. Ha.

Then I went back to work with Zita. 

When she was a bit tired she made her Irish tea, and at the same time Craig made a peanut butter and honey sandwich. Ha.

So I helped him eat it. 

Because he always makes them too big. Ha. Too bad for him.

And then, just a bit of time later Zita and the fast car went to the aeroport and found Niamh.

And just like that they were back home in our house. 

I was very very happy. 

And I was very happy for a long time.

Then Niamh opened her giant backpack to show us some beautiful shirts she got.

It is a very good backpack, because she had the whole world right inside.

Then she had a squeaky clean shower, so she would not smell like an aeroplane anymore. 

Then Zita took her to Tyler’s apartment. 

He and his friends are playing a game on their computers, so Niamh is going to fast asleep. 

And when she got home Craig had his feet in the feet washing machine. 

And when he was all clean, we had refrigerator pizza in the den. 

And I got some very delicious crunchy carrots. Ha.

Then we watched the last part of the very good detective program. 

And when it was over Craig put his new socks on, and I helped him. 

Then we went to sleep. Ha. 

Day Nine Hundred and Twenty Four

Miss Pancake 

It was not very warm today.

But when the fast car was all awake, and warm it took us to the beautiful farm.

But the snow was the very best snow.

Because I could run as fast as could be and my feet did not go in even a bit. 

So we were there a long time and we had a very together good time.

And I saw the farmer’s giant trucks, bringing my friends the cows their tasty breakfasts.

My goodness cows eat a lot, more than me. 

But I am not as big a those cows. And not smelly either. Ha. 

And when we got home Craig was all dressed.

So after I had my lunch he had a cinnamon bun. 

And he asked me to lick the plate as clear as could be. 

Miss Tarryn came here and had her lunch before she and Zita went downtown.

Tarryn stayed downtown, at a tasty treats coffee store, so she could do her university work. 

When Zita came home she went to visit Craig’s mother and bring her some brand new comfy shoes.

But she did not know who my friend Zita. Oh dear. 

I stayed here and had a nice nap.

Because we have been very busy. 

Now Auntie Eileen is in Ireland again. In her own house. 

With Mister Sully. And cousin Lucy too. 

But my best friend Niamh is still in the far away mountains, working with my friend Miss Erin. My goodness. 

Mister Tyler got a brand new picture on his leg. 

And it a very famous knight and his very old horse Mister Rocinate. My goodness. 

But Mister Rocinate is the very old knight’s best minder. 

Everybody should have a minder.

I am my family’s very best minder. Everybody knows that. 

Last night a man came to my house. I did not like him so very much. 

But Zita said I could not just chew him all up. Too bad for me.

But he brought a very big box. 

And there were music speakers inside, so Craig him some money. 

I do not know why we have new ones, because there are even lots in the basement. Oh well. 

This afternoon I was Zita’s very best helper, and her foot warmer too.

But when I was awake it was my dinnertime, but I had to remind Craig.

After our dinner we watched a very good detective program.

It was the one we watched yesterday. 

When we were too tired it was just the very right time to go to bad. Ha. 

Day Nine Hundred and Twenty Three

Miss Pancake

Everybody got up early this morning. Craig too. 

And I did not even have to help him get all dressed. Ha.

Because today Auntie Eileen had to go back to far away Ireland. On a do not get lost aeroplane. 

We had our together breakfast and Zita and Auntie Eileen tried on clothes. I do not know why.

So I had my good morning nap.

It was an all the time beautiful day outside today. And it was nearly warm. 

When it is all sunny warm, the snow gets melted and everything is messy. 

But I even had a little outside nap anyway. before lunchtime.

And before lunchtime Zita and the fast car took Auntie Eileen to our aeroport. 

And she found that aeroplane all by herself. Ha.

And when she got to the giant aeroport she found the next aeroplane.

When Zita got home from our aeroport we went right away to the farm.

So we would not remember that Auntie Eileen was not going to be here tonight, and be sad. 

Because we were way too busy doing lots of very fast running.

Because lots of the too much snow was all gone away.

Because of all the lovely sunshine.

So now I could be a fast running dog again. 

So I just ran and ran and ran, all over the farm. 

And Zita did not even have to hold on to my leash. Ha.

So we stayed there for a long time.

Until our heads were all empty again. 

When we got home I was busy, because I helped Craig make a very delicious peanut butter and honey sandwich. Ha.

I alway get the extra peanut butter that sticks to the sandwiches knife. It is our rule. 

Then Zita found all the paper boxes in the world in our basement. 

So the nice garbage men will take them all away. 

Then when I had my long afternoon nap, Zita went to the busy street to the store where I went shopping.

So she could take back some not so very pretty clothes. 

Today my friend Niamh sent me a picture of her lovely hotel. 

I think it is a lots of fat pillows and good morning croissants hotel. Ha. 

When Zita got home it was dinner time for Craig and Zita.

I did not have to wait for Zita to get home before I had my dinner. 

At dinnertime Auntie Eileen called us. 

Because her aeroplane had to wait, because there was nasty weather beside Ireland. 

And because the aeroplane was a very careful aeroplane, it waited until it was all lovey again. 

So Auntie Eileen had to wait too.

So she talked to Zita instead of waiting nicely. Ha. 

After dinner we went into the den to watch one of Mister Tom’s brand new mysterious shows. With two detectives. 

Day Nine Hundred and Twenty Two

Miss Pancake 

We had a relax this morning. For a little while.

Because Auntie Eileen had to do some of her very fast bicycles work. 

So those bicycles would not starve. My goodness, that is a good idea.

I went in and kept Craig company on the big bed, until he got dressed.

Then it was time for me to take Zita and Auntie Eileen to the busy street bank. 

I had to be their very best fierce minder dog. 

Because that bank has lots of real money in it. Ha. 

So I had to be very brave. 

In case there were robbers hiding in the snow. Maybe. 

And when we got there I was the best minder dog ever. All the bank people said so.

Then we went across the street, and I took Zita and Auntie Eileen shopping. 

And we were there for a very long time.

But I was a very big help.

And lots of people came to say hello to me too. 

Because I am a very polite dog. Ha. 

But now my friend Niamh is in very far away. Right in the middle of the giant mountains.

Where all the people go skiing.

But Niamh and Miss Erin are not skiing, because they are very busy doing their important work.

But there is a very beautiful hotel for them to stay in. Ha. 

And it has three outside bathtubs. My goodness. 

I hope she does not find another bear this time. My goodness. 

When we got home I had my late lunch. But I was not even a little bit hungry. 

Because I got lots of treats for being the very best minder dog. 

Then Zita and Auntie Eileen got all the snow off Mister Clifford and then they put Craig’s broken go fast chair inside.

Because they took it to the wheelchair shop so they could fix it and make it all perfect again. 

It is very good we have extra go fast chairs. 

There is even another one hiding in the basement. 

I think Dugal uses it sometimes. Because he is even older than Craig. 

When they came home Susan came over to drink some wines and eat lots of cheese.

Craig gave me three pieces. Ha.

After Susan left Zita and Auntie Eileen walked up to the busy street.

To visit those brothers’ store and get some delicious rollups for our very late dinner.

Tomorrow Auntie Eileen is going on that aeroplane that can find Dublin. 

So she can make sure that cousin Lucy did not starve while she away.

So then Zita and Auntie Eileen talked and talked and talked so Craig went to bed.

By himself, but sometimes I went in to make sure he was not too cold. Ha. 

Day Nine Hundred and Twenty One

Miss Pancake 

When I got up it was not my own time anymore. 

I think we need new clocks, because the clocks in Ireland are wrong and now my clocks are wrong too. 

But we got all awake anyway. 

And after our breakfasts we got in the fast car and we went to the farm. 

All of us, except Craig because he was still fast asleep.

We had a very wonderful time at our farm, and there was just enough sunshine for everybody. Ha.

So we did not have to share it.

And when I was doing my very fastest running I lost one of my boots. Ha.

But a lady found it and brought it to us. Oh well. 

And her friend Mister Harley was with her. He was a very furry golden dog. 

And he was a very fast runner too. 

So we had a very fun time together. 

Because we ran all over and up and down all the snowy hills. Altogether. Ha.

And I showed him my very favourite hill. 

But then we had to go and find Niamh and bring her back to my house.

Because today she is going to that very far away place.

On an aeroplane. To where the giant mountains live. My goodness.

So Zita went to mister Kettleman’s shop and got lots of brand new bagels.

So Niamh’s tummy would be all full up, when she was on the do not get lost aeroplane. Ha.

So everybody had some for our lunch. 

With lots of very very tasty bacons. And cheese too.

And everybody made their very own bagels sandwiches.

Even Craig, because when we got home he was all dressed and finished his own too much coffees. My goodness.

Craig gave me some of his bagel with cheese on it. Ha.

Then our friend Mister Paul came to give the basement more bright lite.

When he was very busy in our basement Zita and Auntie Eileen took my friend Niamh to our aeroport.

So she could find just the right aeroplane. 

The one that goes all the way there and does not stop for any coffees. 

Miss Erin is going to be there with Niamh in that far far away place.

But it is not so far away for Miss Erin. Because she already lives far away. 

Then Zita and Auntie Eileen went to Mister IKEA’s shop. To get some boxes for Zita’s sewing stuff. 

When they got home it was dinnertime. 

And we had those bagels and big fat hams. 

And those chopped up sausages from Italy. 

And our own from here cheese. 

When dinnertime was all finished Craig gave me some of that very tasty hams. Ha.

Then Zita and Auntie Eileen went downstairs to fill up the new boxes. 

I minded Craig, until it was our bedtime. 

I had a very busy day. 

Day Nine Hundred and Twenty

Miss Pancake.

We were very busy this morning, so we did not go to the farm. 

We made Irish bread instead. 

When it was cooking we went and found Niamh, so she could come home and get all ready for that aeroplane to far away tomorrow.

And Zita and Auntie Eileen had to fix some of her clothes.

Because some of her pants were longer than her legs. My goodness.

Today is a day especially just for ladies all over the whole world. 

Everybody in my house is a lovely lady, except for Craig. 

But when he was all awake and got dressed he was a bit too sore.

So he got some do not be sore pills.

And then he had some coffees and a muffin.

I helped him, because he was too sore to eat the whole muffin all by himself. 

Then I stayed in the living room to mind him. 

When all of Niamh’s going away clothes were perfect it was time for lunch.

So Zita and Auntie Eileen took Niamh to a delicious restaurant for a long lunchtime. Ha.

Craig and I had some of the brand new Irish bread with Mister JJ’s own jams on top. 

Then it was my nap time. 

Zita and Niamh and Auntie Eileen were away all afternoon and when they came home they brought Tyler too. My goodness.

Then everybody tried to find a new swim in the ocean suit. Right on her phone.

Zita and I just watched them. Ha. 

Then we had those especially delicious pizzas.  

And Craig gave me a piece of crispy crust, when I was under the table. 

But we did not tell anybody. Because it was only our secret. Ha.

But we did not watch anything because we talked for a very long time.

So when the kitchen was neat and tidy again we went to bed. 

Day Nine Hundred and Sixteen

Miss Pancake 

We did not have to go to work today.

Because we are still on our holiday. Ha.

We were going to be very busy this morning, but we decided to have a relax instead.

So Zita and Auntie Eileen had lots of coffees and biscuits.

I had a very long nap in my comfy chair.

Because I did not get to bed until very late last night. 

Because of the dinner party. 

But then it was time to go to our farm. 

But I had to put on my red boots. Oh well.

And because it was a very beautiful day we stayed for a very long time. 

And I showed Auntie Eileen my very best snow jumping. 

And I showed her the very best spots to stand on. 

So you could she everything all over everywhere. 

And she was not even too cold. 

Because she had a warm you up coat on. And fat boots too.

Then we went home, because it was my lunchtime.

On the way home we showed Auntie Eileen our giant snowlady. Ha.

When I was finished my lunch I helped Craig with his before lunchtime muffin. 

And then Zita put the delicious dessert in the fast cooking machine so Craig would not starve.

So he had dessert for his lunch. 

And I helped him. Ha.

This afternoon Zita and Auntie Eileen went to a nice shop to find Zita new see you better glasses.

And Tyler’s little sister helped them find the most beautiful glasses. Ha. That was very nice. 

I stayed here because I had to help Craig look out our window until Zita and her own sister got back.

Then we had Niamh’s tasty soup.

Because she did not take it to Tyler’s apartment. So we had it instead.

Then Zita and Auntie Eileen went downstairs to make some big shelves for all her sewing things. 

Even the not so noisy machine. 

When they were all finished it was everybody’s bedtime. 

So we did not watch our detectives tonight.

I do not think they minded. 

Day Nine Hundred and Fifteen

Miss Pancake 

We got up early so we could find Niamh at Tyler’s apartment and bring her home.

Because she has lots of work to do.

Because she is going on an adventure aeroplane very soon.

But Zita and I did not have to go to our work.

Because Auntie Eileen is here. Ha.

So we are having a vacation. 

Zita and I made the especially delicious peaches and oatmeal dessert this morning.

When Auntie Eileen came upstairs we had our all together breakfasts.

And then we all sat in the living room and they all laughed so much Craig could not sleep anymore.

So he got up and made coffees for everybody, and then everybody had our delicious dessert for breakfast.

I got to lick Craig’s bowl as clean as could be.

But then I had to get my boots on.

Because Zita and I took Auntie Eileen to our farm. In our fast car. 

I had to wear my boots, because it is an everywhere melting day. 

We got home all as soggy as could be, and I had to get into the bathtub. 

Then even before I was all dry, Zita and Niamh and Auntie Eileen went shopping at Tarryn’s lovely shop. 

I had to stay here and mind Craig, because I was way too wet to go outside.

When they got home, they brought Tyler with them.

Because we are having a special dinner with Auntie Eileen tonight. 

And we are having Niamh’s famous tortellinis and cheese soup. Ha.

So we made it all together in the kitchen.

And we put delicious sausages in too.

But I minded the table, all by myself.

And we had cheesecake for dessert. 

Cheese is my favourite. 

Craig gave me some when he finished his. 

We did not tell Zita. Ha.

But then we went right to bed, because everyone was very tired. 

Day Nine Hundred and Fourteen

Miss Pancake

We had a little sleep in this morning, until Zita had to go and have her breakfast with Susan and Chris. At a restaurant.

So we did not have our together breakfast today.

But nearly right away Tarryn came here to do her important university work.

So I was busy minding Niamh and Tarryn in our office.

Craig was up early too.

But I could not help him with his breakfast, because I was too busy minding the ladies.

When Zita got home Auntie Eileen was already in not so far away Toronto. At the giant aeroport. 

But she had to wait until there was an aeroplane that could find us. 

Because lots of those aeroplanes go not to here. 

Then Zita and Niamh and Tarryn and I went for our lunchtime walk. 

So we would be all ready for the rest of the day. 

Then Niamh and Tarryn got my special scissors and took away all the nasty knots in my fur.

So I would be so beautiful when Auntie Eileen got here. 

I did not go to get her at our aeroport.

Because I had to mind everybody here.

And then just like that Auntie Eileen was here.  

And she smelled just like my friend cousin Lucy. Ha. 

And after everybody talked, we had lots of cheeses sandwiches for dinner.

And some very delicious round meat, from far away Italy.

But then Niamh and Tarryn had to go to their hard questions restaurant.

So Zita and the fast car took them there and Auntie Eileen went to bed.

Because of those always wrong clocks. Oh well. 

Day Nine Hundred and Thirteen

Miss Pancake 

I was a bit sad this morning, because it was snowing again.

And it was not our lovely fluffy snow, it was the nasty sticking on to your toes snow. 

But then Zita told me that today is a special day for me.

Because it is Pancake Tuesday all over the whole world. Ha.

And everybody has to have pancakes for their dinner. Especially us. 

Because I live here and my name has always been Pancake.

And now because I have my own family, I am now Miss Pancake Taylor. Ha. 

So then I was not sad at all. 

But when Craig got up he was a bit sad too.

Because when he looked out the window he saw the even more snow.

And the go fast chair cannot go even a bit fast in that nasty snow.

But I took Zita and Niamh on our lunchtime all around walk. 

And we only got a bit soggy. 

And after I had my lunch I helped Craig with his butter tart. Ha.

Zita was talking to her own sister this morning. 

To make sure she had not forgotten that she is coming to visit me tomorrow. 

She will have to find one of the do not get lost aeroplanes, at the aeroport in far away Dublin. 

Maybe it will be one of Miss Helena’s aeroplanes. Maybe. 

Then I helped Zita move lots and lots of that snow from my side yard. 

I was a very big help. 

And then Zita and Niamh and I went for another lovely walk. 

Because our work was all finished. 

When we have the stick to you snow, it is not cold at all. But everything is very slidey. 

So you have to be careful, or you might fall down and get a wet bottom. 

And nobody wants a wet bottom. 

My friend Tarryn came over for our pancakes dinner.

And my friend Niamh made me my very own delicious pancakes. 

Because I was a very good helper.

And we had brand new sausages too. 

And I got special plate of just for me pancakes.

Then everybody sat in the kitchen and talked for a very long time.

So I had my nap. On the top of the stairs. 

Then we watched our detective program.

But only for a little while, because it was already our bedtime.
