Day One Thousand and Four

Miss Pancake 

My goodness, when Zita and I got awake it was so nasty outside, we went had a little sleep in. 

Until I had to go outside.

Then we had our breakfasts. 

It was so rainy that some of the bouncy rain hit my windows. 

So we waited until it stopped and we had a fast run around my streets. 

I had my brand new from Ireland very bright raincoat on. 

And we got home before that rain knew we were outside. Ha.

But when we got home it was a spic and span the house cleaning day. Oh well. 

I had my morning nap in the den. Far away from that noisy floor machine.

When Craig got up it was too late for him to go to his old friends breakfast, because they were all gone when he got there. 

Too bad for him. 

He told Zita his leg was a bit too sore where it got all broken. 

He said that because he is now nearly old, that leg is all sore when it is all rainy. I do not now why. 

But then it was time for me to take Zita to my very favourite hardware store.

And the fast car took us, because of the silly rain. 

When we were at that store I got an especially big treat. Because I was so very polite.

Then we went and found Niamh and Tarryn and brought them home. And they were all dry. 

They are going to a singing the happy birthday song party tonight. 

And I helped them pick a secret present.

And then we drove them to get the present and we drove them to Mister Tyler’s apartment for their dinnertime.

When Zita got home she had lots and lots of very delicious from far away China food. (

And it was for Craig’s birthday. 

All that from China food is our favourite. 

Especially the rolled ups. 

It was just Craig and Zita and me, for his birthday dinner. 

Because everybody is all the time sometimes busy, but not at the same times. 

So Zita and I decided not to be all the time waiting for them. 

That is why we had that dinner tonight. Ha.

That was a very good idea.

And he got his secret presents from Zita. 

A brand new outside bathtub for my friends the birds. My goodness. 

And new go fast gloves. Too.

And a new cup just for our good morning coffees. 

And it keeps that coffee hot as can be for nearly forever. 

And the very interesting book from me too. Ha. 

And after dinner I got two bits of those rolled ups. The crunchy ends. 

And Craig put them in my dinner. What a treat that was. 

Then it was time for us to watch our detective program. 

And when we were watching Zita gave Craig another secret present. 

A giant butter tart. Butter tarts are Craig’s most favourite thing ever. He was very happy. Me too.

And when we were all tired we just went to bed. 

Day One Thousand and Three

Miss Pancake 

After we got all awake and Zita was all dressed we went on a very long walk.

But I did not have to have a bath.

Because I was not even a bit dirty.

When we got home we stayed outside and Zita got my special scissors to make me neat and tidy.

Then I had my breakfast and Zita had her next another coffee.

My friend Craig did not have a sleep in today.

So I could help him with his muffin before I had my own lunch.

Then Niamh borrowed the fast car.

So she and Tarryn could go shopping for other people’s all used up clothes. 

I do not know why. But they got lots and lots. 

Then Mister Clifford took Zita to the fast chair garage.

Because they said they fixed it better than brand new. My goodness.

I stayed here so I could mind Craig, watch everything from my favourite window.

Craig and I had a very good for a relax day. For all day too. Ha. 

Today is the day everybody in the whole world should eat potatoes. To keep them right as rain. Ha.

I think Craig and I should have chips for our dinner.

Because tonight Zita had to go to a lovely dinner party.

And the party is for her. My goodness.

With lots and lots of ladies from the Rascal Ladies office.

But she does not want to go.

Because she does not like anybody giving lots of attention to her. Except for me. 

And sometimes Craig. 

But I am her favourite. 

Because I always take her for lovely good morning walks. Ha. 

So Zita and I went on a before dinnertime walk too. 

But she had to go because to that party.

Because it is a party for her retirement. My goodness me.

We had a big peanut butter and honey sandwich for our dinner.

And then there was a very loud too much rain storm. With that very bright lighting. 

Craig said we can watch the football game up on the busy street right in our den. 

And Tyler and his grandad are going to be there.

I think they are going to be very soggy.

I will look for them on the television to see if they got soggy.  Ha. 

When Zita got back home it was our bedtime, so we went to bed. 

Day One Thousand and Two

Miss Pancake 

I had a very quiet day today. 

Because Zita is home and I do not have to mind the whole house all by myself. 

But Zita got up in the middle of the night. 

Because of the wrong clocks.

So we went into the living room and had a lovely nap. 

We when we could see out my windows, it was bouncing up into the air rain. Oh well. 

So we did not go for our good morning walk.

But we did not have to go to work.

Because we are on our holidays. Ha.

But Niamh had to work, so we went and got her at Tyler’s apartment.

Because of the all the time too much rain.

They did not win at the hard questions restaurant last night. Oh well.

When we got home Niamh went into my office to work. 

But Zita and I had a very nice living room relax. 

And she read her nice book. I had my before lunchtime relax.

When Craig was all dressed he had a peanut butter cookie.

Even before he had his good morning coffees. My goodness me. 

But he was not sick, he was just a bit hungry, and Niamh was playing with the make your own coffee machine. 

Before lunchtime Zita and I went for a very long around here walk, but I got very dirty because of that rain.

So I had to have a little, only not an all over me bath. 

Then after my lunch I helped Craig with his muffin. 

Then Zita went with Susan to have some coffees together.

When she got home she went to the grocery store, for delicious things for us to eat.

And when she got home she and Niamh went to a different grocery store.

So Niamh and Tyler would not starve, when Niamh stays there. 

I stayed here and had an early dinnertime. 

And when Zita came home our stove was already to cook Craig and Zita’s dinner too.

Then we watched some of last night’s detective program again.

Because Zita and I were fast asleep. Oh well. 

Day One Thousand and One

Miss Pancake 

Niamh and I did not get up so very very this morning. 

But we sat in the living room and looked out the windows at another very beautiful outside.

When we were all awake it was time for our important work so we went into our lovely office.

But Niamh left the door open so I could see my friends the birds when I was not so very busy. 

Craig did not have a sleep in today. 

So I helped him with his tasty muffin and peanut butter cookies.

Because we had them at the very same time. 

Then when I looked out the window those men and their squishing machine were back. 

Right in from of my house.

When I took Niamh on our lunchtime walk Craig told me not to let Niamh get all squished flat as could be. 

So I took her far away from those machines. Ha.

And we went all the way to the busy street and we found the delicious coffee shop. And it was outside.

So Niamh got a coffee and it was not even hot at all. 

Because it was a very cold coffee.

Because it was a hot outside day today. 

When we got home Craig’s us Zita’s aeroplane did not get lost a bit and was all safe in Toronto and so was she. Ha.

Then I had a big drink of water, because I was a bit hot.

But the house was all comfy cool, because of the brand new cool the house machine. 

Craig and Niamh were very busy.

Because they had to make the house all neat and tidy before my friend Zita got home. Too bad for them.

As soon as Niamh’s meeting was over it was time for an adventure ride in the fast car.

And we went to our aeroport. 

And my best friend Zita was there. And she got into the car with me. Ha.

Zita was very happy to see me. I was very happy too. 

And we went right home. 

And when we got home she opened her giant aeroplane bag and there were tasty treats for everybody.

Even a giant chocolate for Craig, from our Nana. 

Zita said it is a watching the detectives tasty treats for everybody. Especially her. Ha. 

And I got a see me even in the dark rain coat. 

From Ireland.

They have lots of rain in Ireland, so even all the dogs have rain coasts. 

And Zita found the most beautiful ever dress. Just for Emmet’s wedding. 

It had buttons from the top to the bottom. 

Zita used to have one just like that a very long time ago.

And it was Craig favourite. But it just got all worn out. Oh well. 

Then Zita had a squeaky clean shower. You always have showers after aeroplane rides. It is our rule.

Zita took Niamh to the hard questions restaurant, so there was only Craig and Zita for me to mind. 

After our dinner we did not watch the detectives for so long tonight.

  

Because Zita was very tired because of those wrong clocks. 

So we went to bed early. 

That was a good idea. 

Day One Thousand

Miss Pancake 

We had another very beautiful day today. 

So I got my friend Niamh up a bit too early so she could see the beautiful day. 

But then we went back to sleep in the living room. Because it was a bit very early.

Then when we were all awake we went on a very long walk. 

And we visited my friends the ducks in the other pond, and Niamh tried to show me the fishes.

But I could not see them. Oh well. 

So when we got back we went to our work in our own office. 

Before lunchtime we had to go and help Miss Emily bring that little girl home from her school. 

My head had a very good time, because I stuck it out the window all the time. 

And today I did not get even a bit soggy. 

Because it was not raining a bit. Ha.

When we were home I had my lunch and then I minded Niamh. All afternoon.

Because we had lots of work to do.

This morning Craig got secret presents from Zita. She hid them for his little birthday. 

And some of them were peanut butter cookies. My goodness, peanut butter cookies are very tasty.

Last night Craig and Niamh and I stayed up until past my bedtime, they were just talking. 

It was not so interesting.

But we did not watch that hockey game. 

I think Mister Tyler watched it for us, in his apartment with Mister Mike.

When we went to bed I kept Craig cosy warm, until I was too hot and then I slept in my little house. 

After lunch time, when I was minding Niamh there was a big noise.

So I ran into the living room and Craig and I looked out the window.

And I saw some men drop a very loud thing. My goodness.

So I watched them and then they found their squish everywhere flat machine. 

And it was loud too.

But Craig and I stayed inside our house.

Because we did not want to be squished as flat as could be.

Craig said I would be flat as a pancake. I did not think that was so funny. Too bad for him. 

We saw Mister The King on Craig’s computer. He was not on our busy street today.

He was downtown talking to all the brand new rascals. Ha.

And he did not go in a car. He went in a giant wagon, with horses. 

And lots of our very own horse police with their very long pointy sticks were there too. 

They can stick those sticks into nasty people, and nobody minds. Ha. 

Just like Mister Cú Chulainn in one of Emmet’s very famous stories. Ha. 

Niamh was very busy this afternoon so I was very busy helping her. 

And when the work was over Niamh and I made very delicious hamburgers. And we cooked them outside. 

Because they taste better when you them outside. It is known.

Then Tarryn talked to Niamh on her telephone and they decided to go out to watch the important hockey game together.

And have desserts with lots of cream. Ha. 

The present man brought a box here. And it was my birthday present for my friend Craig. 

Festis and Furrgus’s sent it from Auntie Elseabeth’s favourite bookstore in London. My goodness.

They could not be at Craig’s birthday parties. 

Because they are too busy keeping Auntie Elseabeth and Cousin Mórag out of the hands of the local constabulary. My goodness. 

That is a hard job. 

Dugal said he was too old for such shenanigans, and so was Auntie Elseabeth. Oh dear.

After Niamh went out I stayed here to mind Craig. 

We went to bed before that hockey game was all over.

Because we were a bit very tired. 

Day Nine Hundred and Ninety Nine

Miss Pancake.

When I got up this morning Mister Tyler was still here.

Because he was doing his work at our house this morning. Right in the dining room.

I did not mind him because I was minding Niamh in our office.

Craig did not have a big sleep in today.

So I helped him with his good morning muffins in our den. 

At lunchtime Niamh and the fast car took Tyler to his office for a meeting. 

I did not go, because it was a beautiful as could be day, so I had my lunchtime nap outside in my side yard. 

Today there were lots of cars on my street.

And noisy helicopters on top of my house, all the time. 

Because our Mister King visited our busy street, and there were lots and lots of people there. 

My goodness.

We could not go because it was way too beautiful outside in my garden today.

And I was a bit fast asleep. 

Maybe next time. 

Last night we had a little on fire cake.  

It was very very tasty. 

And Craig stopped all the candles by himself.  I did not have to help him. 

Niamh and Craig had more tasty from Mexico food for dinner.

But it was not the same food as yesterday. But I got some anyway.

Niamh did not need so much help this afternoon, so I sat in my side yard lots of times.

Because it was an open door day. 

It was a very good day for a relax. 

Day Nine Hundred and Ninety Eight

Miss Pancake 

My goodness me.

When Craig got up Niamh and Tyler told him Happy Birthday. Goodness me.

I did not know it was his birthday. Nobody told me at all. 

And Niamh got him lots of chocolate.

But I did not get him even one secret present.

Because I did not know. 

But Niamh told me we are having the big sing happy birthday party when Zita gets back home from far away Ireland.

Maybe I can find a secret present. Maybe Dugal will help me. 

Because Festis and Furrgus are at their Auntie Elseabeth’s, to watch those very little cars go very fast right on the street. My goodness. 

Cousin Morag was there too. 

But some men would not let her drive in that race. That was silly. 

Because Festis and Furrgus said she was very fast. 

So they all watched that race from Auntie Elseabeth’s balcony and had their champagnes all at the same time. Ha.

Zita was not there.

She went to visit the ocean with our Auntie Eileen.

And Zita went swimming, in the ocean. And she was nearly all iced up.

But the whales did not chase her. I think it was too cold for those whales. 

She showed me that ocean on the flat computer. 

Then she went into the beside the ocean restaurant with Auntie Eileen to have some teas and treats. 

They went to visit the beside Waterford ocean. There is a very big castle there. 

There are lots and lots of castles in Ireland. Because it used to be all the time dangerous. 

But now only the cars are dangerous. 

At lunchtime Tarryn came here and Niamh and Tarryn made a special lunch with pancakes and sausages and bacons.

Because it is Craig happy birthday day. I got some bacons. Ha.

Last night everybody was so tired, because of selling all those extra clothes, Niamh and Tarryn went to Mister McDonald’s.

And when they came home we had hamburgers for dinner. 

And chips too. In the den. Altogether. 

And we all watched the hockey game.

But I went to fast asleep. 

Because I was a tired minder. 

This morning Niamh took me down the very scary stairs to keep her and Tyler company. Ha. 

And we all went to fast fast asleep. 

At lunchtime Tyler had to go to visit his uncle. 

Because he had a secret party. 

So then Niamh and Tarryn were very busy putting lots of boxes away. 

From the sell everything to anybody party yesterday.

And they put Tarryn’s stuff into the fast ca,  and then they took it to Tarryn’s house. 

And Susan came to say hello and to look in the refrigerator. 

But we had lots of good foods, so she was happy.

When Niamh got home Tyler got here nearly right away.

And Niamh made that from Mexico food. 

The one that is Craig’s favourite. And I got a giant chip too. 

And we had a cake too. My goodness. 

Then everybody went to fast fast asleep. 

I kept my friend Craig all as comfy as could be. 

Day Nine Hundred and Ninety Seven

Miss Pancake 

My goodness gracious me.

I had a very busiest day in the whole world.

Because today was the sell everything to everybody day.

So we got up very early and my friend Sach was here too.

Because she slept here last night. 

It was a bit rainy, but we had our own tents so we were all dry.

And we put all our extra clothes in the tents. 

And then all our friends came here too. 

And everybody had their breakfast with me. Right outside.

Me too. Ha.

And Mister Ryan brought lots of cheese. 

Because cheese is his very favourite. Mine too. Ha. 

And I was very very busy, because I had to mind everybody.

And guard all the money too.

Then I had my own lunch outside.

And Mister Tyler’s sister came with her new dog. And we had a together talk. Ha.

My goodness what an exciting day. 

And we had giant hotdogs. 

And Tarryn cooked them on our outside stove. I got lots of little bits. 

Because I was such a very good guarder dog.

So when all the people left my street Niamh and Tarryn and Tyler put the giant tents away. 

And I went inside to mind Craig and to have my dinner. 

And to have a nap.

Because I did not have even one nap when I was minding everything.

Because you cannot go to fast asleep when you are minding. It is the rule. 

My friend Zita did not have even one of our hotdogs, because she was still in Ireland.

Because today Emmet told one of his very interesting stories to lots and lots of people right in Dublin. 

So she went downtown on the bus.

And saw lots of places she used to know. My goodness me. 

And when she got downtown she went to hear Emmet’s story. 

My goodness me. That would be nice. 

And she said everybody asked Emmet lots and lots and lots of questions, until it was time to have their teas. My goodness. 

She was very happy. 

And lots of the professors talked to Zita all about Emmet’s wedding. 

They were very excited. My goodness. 

Then she went back to Nana and Grandad’s house, to have her dinner. 

Day Nine Hundred and Ninety Six

Miss Pancake 

We had a very quiet all day long day.

I got Niamh up early so we could look out the window together.

Then we both went back to sleep in the living room.

When I went outside it was not raining at all so we went for a nice after breakfast walk. 

But then we were so buy with our in the office work that I forgot to eat all my breakfast.

So after I helped Craig with his first lunch, he saw I had not even finished my breakfast.

So I got a bit of very tasty cheese to remind me. 

Then I went back into our office to help Niamh and Miss Erin. 

My friend Tarryn came over to help with all the lots of extra clothes in the basement.

Then Miss Guytrees came here to make everything spic and span. 

And she brought even more doughnuts. 

My goodness me. 

My best friend Zita sent me more pictures in Dublin.

Because she is still there, not here again. 

So she and Emmet took Nana and Grandad to a famous as could be hotel.

And they had teas. 

But there was not so many teas. 

Because there were all the delicious desserts in the whole world. 

Even very tasty scones, and they had jams on top too. My goodness me. 

Right on their own table.

There was so much they had boxes for a the extras. 

Now Nana and Grandad will have all those desserts for breakfast tomorrow.

Maybe tomorrow they will be all chubbley. My goodness me. 

Then Niamh and Tarryn brought up all the too many extra clothes that they are going to sell.

And people will give them real money too. My goodness. That is a good idea. 

Then they went out to get even more, so I had to guard them. 

All by myself.

Because Craig is not fast enough to be a fierce guarder. Oh well. 

It is because he is a bit old. 

Then Sach got Niamh in her noisy Jeep, to help Sach find a nice new apartment. 

I used to visit her in her old apartment, but then she moved to way too far away for me to visit. 

We have to get wake early tomorrow, even Craig, because early is when all the people find our street. 

And Mister Tyler’s very fast bicycle brought him here to help with all those clothes.  

Day Nine Hundred and Ninety Five

Miss Pancake 

When I got up this morning I only went outside for a very little time.

Because there was way too much rain. 

So I came back inside right away and had my own breakfast.

And because of that rain we took Mister Tyler to his work in the fast car.

And I stuck my head out the window the whole time.

But when we got back home I had a very soggy. Even my ears were soggy.

So Niamh dried them all off until I was fast dry again.

But we did not go for a good morning walk.

Because it was not such a good morning outside. 

Then Tarryn came for her lots of coffees and we drove her to the lovely shop. 

Because of all that rain. 

When Craig was awake I heard him open the muffins box, so I woke up to help him eat that muffin.

But now all those muffins are gone. Oh well. 

Then I had my own lunch and went back to be Niamh’s best helper. 

When I went into the big bedroom this morning Zita was not there again.

Because she is still in far away Ireland.

But Craig said that she is on an adventure with Auntie Eileen. My goodness, an adventure. 

I think they are looking for delicious restaurants.

We went for a very long before dinner walk.

Because the rain was all gone to bother somewhere else.

But when we came in the from door a dog barked at me. 

But I did not even look at it, because it was a just a silly rude dog. And not even very big. 

Then Niamh went to the nice groceries store to get something and when she got home she brought Tarryn too. 

Because Jamie was busy being a hockey man. 

So Niamh and Tarryn made a delicious own outside cooked chicken.

And Lee and Cara came here for dinner too.

Then they went downstairs to get all the too many clothes to sell to people on our front yard.

I went in the den to mind Craig while he watched a very loud movies. 

Then it was bed time for Craig, but I stayed at the top of the basement stair to mind my friends.  

Day Nine Hundred and Ninety Four

Miss Pancake 

Last night after Niamh and I took Miss Lily home, we went to Mister McDonald’s and I got little pieces of delicious chicken. 

Niamh told me not to tell Craig, but I forgot. 

Because they were especially tasty. Oh well. 

And when we got home it was our bedtime.

Niamh and I stayed awake for a little while. 

To make sure there were no nasty raccoons in our garden.

Then I went into the big bedroom to keep my best friend Craig company.

Because Zita is still in far away Dublin.

And she had an outside breakfast today.

I saw the picture. 

And Nana was reading my own stories too. My goodness.

It was a full of sunshine day in far away. 

But it was a just full of clouds day in my garden. Oh well.

I think it is a holiday in far away because it is the day to drink tea for the whole world. Ha. 

This morning Tarryn came here for a very early in the morning visit.

And she brought Mister Fred.

It was not my Mister Fred who guards our garden.

It was a little baby and it was called Mister Fred too. That is silly. 

And the baby liked all my special toys, especially the roll all around balls. 

But I was a very good sharer. 

So the baby and I played for a long time. 

Tarryn and Niamh played too. My goodness. 

But I was so gentle that I got treats when Tarryn and the baby were gone. Ha.

But then it was back to work time for us. Oh well.

After lunchtime Miss Guytree came to make the big bedroom spic and span.

And she brought us very little doughnuts too. My goodness me.

And I got a little bite too. That was a tasty surprise for me. 

Then I went back to help Niamh with all her important work. 

But then she was just talking to my friend Erin, so I had my afternoon nap. 

And when I was all awake it was my dinnertime. 

And tonight was the hard questions restaurant night for Niamh and Tyler. 

So Niamh could not eat here.

Too bad for her because a nice man brought us a very delicious hamburger and very fat chips. 

When we were all finished we went into the den and watched some of the hockey game. Oh well.

Day Nine Hundred and Ninety Three

Miss Pancake

My goodness me. 

There were raccoons in my garden last night.

And one was very big. Maybe it was a giant raccoon. Maybe.

But I fierce barked them all away.

Zita was still in far away so I slept on my comfy chair so I could mind the house. 

That is why I knew those raccoons were in my garden. 

When Niamh was all awake I took her all around our streets, but we did not see those racoons. 

So then we had our breakfast and we went into the office.

We were very very busy.

Because they gave her a new job. 

Now she has to tell people what to do. Even Miss Dina. 

And she gets more real money. For Merry Christmas time presents. My goodness me. 

So I stayed with her until Craig got up and I helped him with that very tasty muffin. 

And then it was time for my own lunch too. 

But I had to go back into the office to be Niamh very best helper. 

When Craig had his next lunch, he had a very fat peanut butter and honey sandwich. I got the left over pieces.

Then I had my nap.

The magic map showed me that my friend Zita got all the way to England this afternoon. 

And she was the giant busy aeroport. My goodness me.

Because she had to wait for that another aeroplane that could find Dublin all by itself. 

So they did not get lost at all.

Craig said that when she finds Nana’s house, they will have lots of tea and delicious biscuits all ready for her. 

Craig said that they do not have water to drink in Ireland, only to make lots and lots of teas. 

We had hot dogs for our dinner.

Because they are Niamh’s favourite. 

I got a big very crunchy bit of the bun.  Ha. 

Then Niamh played the guitar and I sang. 

I was a very big help. 

We cannot watch any detective programs when Zita is in far away. It is the rule. 

Then the fast car took Niamh and I out for a ride, so I could stick my head out the window. 

And then we went to visit Mister Tyler and I saw his apartment too. Ha.

Day Nine Hundred and Ninety Two

Miss Pancake 

I had a very busy day this morning.

Because today is the day that Zita is taking professor Jill to far away England, before she go to see everybody in Ireland.

But I was a very little bit upset, because when Zita is not here I have to mind everybody all by myself. My goodness me.

That is a very important job. 

Before lunchtime Zita had a squeaky clean shower, because you do not want to be all smelly on an aeroplane.

When I went on the aeroplanes I smelled just like a beautiful flower. 

All the aeroplane ladies told me. Ha.

Craig did not have a sleep in either, so I helped him with Mister Aidan’s tasty scones.

But I think Mister Aidan is sad today, because his hockey team lost again. Oh dear.

After lunch Zita and I went to Tyler’s apartment and found Niamh and brought her back to our house. 

I was very glad to see her. 

Miss Sally went to the beach yesterday. 

She did not go by herself, cousin Ciara went there too. 

And it was Zita’s very most favourite beach. My goodness me.

Maybe Zita will go there with Auntie Eileen. And have some beers. Maybe.

Then Niamh and I took Zita to find Professor Jill and them take them to our own aeroport. My goodness me. 

But when we got there, my goodness me, the aeroplane was broken. Maybe it did not have its fast tires on. 

So we came home. 

And when we got home my friend Sach came to visit me.

Because she was having a sad day. 

Dogs are the very best thing for sad days. 

That is why she came here, so I could make her happy.

And then Tarryn came here so too. 

So we had pizzas. And Zita got ice creams and chocolates. 

You always have ice creams and chocolates when you are sad with your friends. It is the rule. 

So then we had a big together pizza and ice cream dinnertime.

Zita went to have an after dinner nap. But not for so long.

Because they found a not even a little bit broken aeroplane for her. Ha.

So we went back to the aeroport so Zita and Professor Jill could go to far away London. 

But another aeroplane is going to take Zita to Dublin. 

Because that is where all our relatives live. They do not live in London. 

Because that is where the King lives. My goodness me. 

And when we got home it was past my bedtime. 

So we went to bed. 

But my friend Zita was not here for me to mind and keep toasty warm. It was only Craig. 

Nine Hundred and Ninety One

Miss Pancake 

When we got all awake as could be, we had a very nice breakfast, after Zita had her lots of coffee.

Then we looked out the windows and it was not so nice and warm today.

But our beautiful tree had all its flowers all out today. 

It is the smell beautiful tree, right in front of my window. 

After a little while we went for the longest walk around ever.

And when we got home we were not even a bit too hot. Ha.

When Craig got up Craig and Zita had scones and they were all toasty warm. Ha.

I got all the crumbs. 

Then Zita had to finish putting all her take to Ireland things, in her fat for the aeroplane bag. 

Because tomorrow Zita is taking professor Jill to far away England.

And then she will find one of those aeroplanes that can find Ireland and not get lost. 

And when that aeroplane stops she will be in Ireland. My goodness me. 

My friends the badgers did not even wake up until after my afternoon nap. My goodness.

Mister Festis told me yesterday was a very special holiday day, like Merry Christmas but with not even one present.

Because it was the special day when everybody in the whole world should have a big glass of very old Scotch. 

To keep them healthy.

But because Craig and Zita did not know this, the badgers had to drink all the extra glasses. 

And they even have their very own special glasses. 

My goodness me. 

They had even Emmet’s and Niamh’s and Tyler’s and Alice’s too. 

And maybe others too. Just in case he said.

So this morning they were way too tired to go to church, or even get out of bed. My goodness me. 

Zita went out this afternoon to do some grocery shopping, so Craig will not just starve away, and so he can give me treats too. 

I stayed home so I could watch Craig from my own watching chair.

He was not even a bit busy today. He was just reading about something interesting. 

He should have nice naps. Then I could keep him company on the comfy bed. 

When Zita came home she had a big bottle of peanut butter for our peanut butter sandwiches. 

And I did not have to remind Craig about my dinnertime tonight.

And after dinner we watched the detective lady from Dublin.

We see lots of detectives from there, but I never see any of our cousins, or Emmet or Miss Alice. Too bad for me. 

Day Nine Hundred and Ninety

Miss Pancake 

I had a very very busy morning.

Because today was a spic and span the house day.

But as soon as we started Professor Jill called us.

Because she needed a car ride.

Because she only likes riding in cars not driving them. Just like me.

So we got in the car and found her and took her all over.

And then we took her back to her very big house.

And then we found a beautiful big outside box for our beautiful plants. And it was for free. 

It was so big we could not close the car’s back door. My goodness.

And on the way home there was a Bouvier dog in my park.

But it was a giant Bouvier, just like my giant brothers. 

But it was not all the time loud and smelly like them. 

I am not so giant.

Because I am a very lovely petite Bouvier. 

Niamh said that I am a Lululemon size two Bouvier. That is true. 

When we got home it was way past my lunchtime, but I had to help Craig with his muffin first. 

Then Zita found the noisy floors machine, so Craig hid in the den and I went outside. Ha.

Then Zita had to go out to do lots of important errands. 

Because she is going to Ireland to see her mother and her father, and then go to visit our Emmet and Doctor Alice. 

And she is going on a trip with Auntie Eileen to visit tasty restaurants. And drink Irish beers. Ha. 

Maybe they will see Miss Sally. Maybe. 

I had a very lovely quiet afternoon.

Because I was very busy this morning.

So I had a very nice long nap while I minded Craig.

When Zita got home it was dinnertime. 

And she brought two pop right in the stove dinners. Ha.

And when they were inside Zita and I played the find Zita game.

That is my very favourite game. 

Because when she hides and I find her I get a treat.  

But one time it was hard to find her. 

Because she hid inside the bathtub. 

But I found her anyway. Ha.

But we had to stop, because the stove said that dinner was all ready to eat. 

And then Zita put Mister Aidan’s very delicious scones in the stove.

So we could have them when we watched the detective program. Ha.

Scones make crumbs all by themselves, so they are my favourite. 

Day Nine Hundred and Eighty Nine

Miss Pancake 

I had a sick tummy last night.

But when I woke up this morning I was all better.

So Zita and I went on a happy walk all the way to our hardware store.

The lady there is a little bit scared of dogs.

So I was very very polite, and she gave me a treat. 

Then we went back home before the rain came for our flowers. 

 

But then it was go to work time.

So I had a very nice nap while I helped Zita.

And Craig only had a very little sleep-in so I helped him with his muffin.

And just like that it was time for our lunch time walk around. And it was not rainy at all. Ha.

When we got home it was way past my lunchtime. But my friend Craig had it already. 

And when I was finished I helped him with his another muffin. 

Then I had a nap in the den, because Zita had a very long meeting on her computer. 

Those meetings are not so very interesting as a soft comfy sofa. Ha.

When our work was all finished Zita told me that she and I are on vacation. Ha. 

I did not know that. My goodness me, that is exciting. 

We could not leave the door open today. Because of the buzzy mosquitos.

Zita is going to find my special summertime door and then those mosquitos will have to stay outside. Ha.

Before Craig and Zita had dinner Susan came to visit Zita in the basement. 

I stayed in the kitchen to mind them.

Then I went to help Craig in the living room, so we could watch everybody out our windows.

There were lots of people on our street, because our ladies hockey team is playing an important game tonight. 

Craig and Zita did not have their dinner until late.

But today Craig did not forget my dinnertime so I was not a bit hungry. Ha.

Then it was detective time.  

Day Nine Hundred and Eighty Eight

It was a go back to work day for us. 

But we went for a very nice walk when we were all awake. 

It was not so hot today so we went all around.

Then we came home.

Niamh was up very early too. For her lots of work.

Last Niamh and her friends won again at the hard questions restaurant. My goodness me.

I was having a lovely nap when Craig got all dressed, and I did not wake up until I heard him open my lunch.

Then I was all awake. 

When I was all finished my own lunch, I helped him with his blueberries muffins.

Then Zita went for a little by herself walk.

I did not go because I was helping with that muffin. 

But then it was time for even more work for Zita and me. Oh well. 

It was a very quiet day for us. 

But I have two very comfy sofas. Craig said it is because I am such a lovey dog. 

Zita said it is because I am spoiled. Ha. 

This afternoon the present man brought us a package. 

And it was my birthday present for Zita.

And it was a lovely shopping bag, with a famous beautiful picture on it. 

And there was a beautiful Bouvier dog in the picture.

And it was just like me. 

Because I am a beautiful Bouvier dog too. 

Zita said it was the very best present even. Ha. Good for us. 

And when Sach came here to get Niamh, she wanted one too. 

But Dugal only gave me some of his gold money for one. Oh well. 

Maybe for Merry Christmas time. 

And when Niamh left it was time for the detectives. 

And we watched our very favourite detective.  

From where those reindeers live. My goodness me.

Then I was tired and we went to bed.
