Day One Thousand and Thirty Four

Miss Pancake 

I was very busy this morning.

Because after our breakfast, we had a very long all around walk. 

And when we got home Niamh was just a little bit awake, so Zita and I got into the fast car. 

And we went for a long ride.

Because Zita had to give a big box to a rascal lady.

And when we got home Niamh was working with Miss Erin.

And Niamh was outside under our big umbrella. But Miss Erin was inside her own house. 

So she could not have a nice coffee.

Craig said he would make one for her. 

But she is in too far away. Oh well.

And when Craig had his own coffee he had a muffin too. 

When I was finished helping him I went outside to mind Niamh. 

But then it was too hot so we went inside. 

And it was my lunchtime. 

Then Niamh went to do some tasty treats shopping.

Because tomorrow is our happy happy birthday for the who country.

And Niamh and Tyler are going to a big party at Mister Ryan’s old house. 

And that house has a giant to swim in pond. Ha.

But they do not have ducks. Oh well. 

It is a cook everything outside party.

That is why Niamh is shopping for tasty things. 

A man came this afternoon to look at a basement wall.

Because he can make it beautiful. That is a good idea.

We had a dinnertime party today. 

And we had those very delicious outside cooked hamburgers. 

And Mister Tyler came here for the party too. 

Some of those hamburgers had cheese right on top.

And I got some too. 

Day One Thousand and Thirty Three

Miss Pancake 

We did not get up early today. 

And after our breakfast Zita talked to her mother and father in Ireland. 

And it was nearly hot there today. 

It was not so very hot here, so when Craig was very awake we went for a very long walk.

And we talked to lots of people.

And we met anpotato. And it was a very little dog. 

But that is all right because potatoes are not so big as pancakes. Ha.

When we got home I had a very big drink because I was a bit hot.

Then I had a nice nap.

And when I woke up it was my lunchtime. 

And after my lunch it was time for Craig’s lunch. 

And we had a very tasty blueberries muffin. 

Then Zita went outside to make our garden all beautiful. 

And take away those nasty weeds. 

And when she was too too hot she found popsicles right in our refrigerator. Ha. 

Popsicles are my favourite. ‘

Last night when we looked out the windows there were lots and lots of little bugs.

And sometimes they would just be as bight as could be. My goodness. 

I never saw those little bugs before. 

They are very little, so they are not scary. That is good. 

My friend Tarryn is not in very far away anymore, because she is back home. 

And she came here to visit me. 

And she brought Niamh with her. 

Tarryn brought me a present, and it was a beautiful neckerchief. And I wore it right away.

So the Niamh and Tarryn sat in the comfy outside chairs in our side yard. 

And had beers, right from the refrigerator. 

It was my job to mind them. So I did. In my beautiful neckerchief. Ha.

Zita was outside on our swing, for a swing relax. 

But then she went back to catching the nasty weeds. 

Craig was in the house all busy listening to his book.

Before dinner Mister Tom brought some new detective programs for us.

And lots of all about gardening programs for Zita.

Because soon we will not have to go to work, and we can just stay in our beautiful garden together. Ha. 

Tarryn could not have dinner with us, or Mister Jamie would not have his dinner. 

So we had a nice cool dinner, because it was too hot out for hot food. 

Then it was detective time for us. 

Day One Thousand and Thirty Two

Miss Pancake 

We got up very very early this morning.

And after breakfast Zita talked to our Auntie Eileen in far away.

It was not so very early there. 

  

Because of their wrong clocks. Oh well. 

Then we took a lot of rascal ladies old things to our big building.

With the not real at all raccoons. 

Because today was the day to give away all those things. So we did.

I stayed in the fast car and guarded everything. 

And as soon as we got home there was a very big full of very loud thunder storm. 

And so much bouncy rain I could not even see my pond. My goodness. 

Craig had a sleep in today.

Because he was very tired. 

I was not tired. Ha. 

But when he got up he did not forget that it was my lunch time. Ha.

That was good.

Then I minded Zita when she went outside to fix the garden. 

Because that rain had forgotten all about us, and it was a full of sunshine afternoon. 

After I helped Craig with his muffin, we went to do an errand in Mister Clifford. All of us.

And we went to that giant hardware store. 

The store that does not give nice dogs any treats.

And when we tried to get some lovely stones, they did not have any at all. My goodness gracious. 

So we went to that ice cream shop anyway. 

And Craig got a milkshake, and I got some in my own bowl. Ha.

And then we went home to our cool as can be house.

Because it was too hot outside. 

Craig and Zita had brand new bread with eggs sandwiches. 

But I got some more tunas. Ha. I won. 

Then we went to watch the detectives and maybe have a nice nap, before our bedtime. 

Day One Thousand and Thirty One

Miss Pancake 

When I got home from our good morning walk, Craig was all fast awake and all dressed too. My goodness.

Because Zita had to go to visit Mister Manuel about the rascal ladies computers. 

So Craig was there to help me look out the watching window.

Because I had a helper I had my nap right away. Ha. 

And when Zita got back she had brand new muffins for our lunch.

So after I had my lunch, Craig had his even another coffee and a delicious muffin. He saved me a bit.

Then I went into our office to help Zita throw everything out. 

Because soon she will be all retired too. Just like Craig. Ha.

And we will have long walks whenever we want to. 

And we will not have to hurry back for our too much work. My goodness me no.

But there is lots and lots of way too much stuff we have to throw out.

Because that was our office for a long time.

Be we did not throw out my sofa. Ha. 

It was very windy this afternoon. 

But then it was just windy rain. Oh well. 

Miss Alexa told me there will be lots of windy rain. Oh well. 

A nice lady came to visit us.

Because she is going to make a beautiful window for Emmet’s bedroom. 

I did not go into our side yard this afternoon because of that windy rain. 

So I had a nice inside nap.

We had used food from the refrigerator for dinner.

Craig had Mister Tony’s tasty pizza, and Zita had some salad and it had tunas in it.

My goodness gracious, tunas are my favourite.

And I got some on top of my own dinner. Ha. 

Then we watch that good detective program. The not scary one. 

So when we went to bed, we were not even a bit scared. 

Day One Thousand and Thirty

Miss Pancake 

It was not very too hot today.

Because there were lots and lots of clouds all over the sky.

So after Zita had her favourite fluffy coffee we went for a long lovely walk.

We did not see any of my friends. 

Maybe they are on their vacations. Like my friend Tarryn. Maybe.

Today she had toasts and very delicious jams for her breakfast. Ha.

But she could not share it with me.

Because she is still on that very far away island with the beautiful hotel.

And she found the biggest tree ever. Right on that island.

So she sent me a picture of that tree. 

My goodness me. They have very big trees in that place. 

At lunch time Zita and Niamh and I went for a forget about work walk. 

And we went all around our ponds and I saw so many ducks. 

And that giant bird came back to visit us. We saw it standing in the water. 

When we came back and I when was not a bit hot,  I had my lunch. I got peanut butter. Ha. 

Mister Tyler was a bit sad, because the hockey team lost.

I think it was because Mister Jamie was in far away, and not there with Mister Tyler. 

After my lunch I had a very nice nap on my favourite sofa in the den, until Zita was all finished working.

Then we went on another wonderful long walk. My goodness me. 

Then Zita and Niamh went food shopping at the big grocery store, before Niamh went to Mister Tyler’s apartment.

And when Zita came home those very nice men made us delicious all rolled ups.  That was very nice of them.

Then we watched a brand new detective program before our own bedtime. 

Day One Thousand and Twenty Nine

Miss Pancake 

It was very beautiful today. 

And it was not even too hot.

And it was our do not go to work day.

So we went for a very long all around the ponds and everywhere walk. 

Mister Kyle and his helpers are very noisy.

Because they are throwing all the basement in a giant box.

But when I am in the side yard they always talk to me. My goodness.

When Craig got up he had two croissants with his good morning coffees.

And they had too much butter, and even more jams on them. My goodness. 

Niamh was very busy working with Miss Erin. We all said hello to her. 

But then Niamh had to help Miss Lily take a bird to the special place for sick birds. 

Oh dear. Niamh does not like birds so very much. 

After lunchtime Zita and I went for a very long walk. 

We went on the lots of trees streets. 

Because their sidewalks are not so hot. 

My friend Tarryn is at the giant hotel with Mister Jamie and they are going to have tea.

Because that hotel has famous tea times. 

That was Craig’s idea. Ha.

Because when he was very little his family always went for tea in a lovely hotel.

Right beside a real palace. 

But we do not have real palaces where we live. 

We do not even have so many dragons either. Oh well.

There are palaces where Emmet lives, but Emmet and Alice do not live in one.

I think those palaces are too far away from Alice’s hospital. Oh well.

They have lots of castles where they live, but castles are not so very nice to live in. 

Because lots of times they do not have a roof at all. 

Festis and Furrgus’s are waiting for Mister Lochlainn to make sure the roof is all brand new at their castle.

I think that is why cousin Mórag is living in that hotel in France, beside the ocean. 

Niamh went to the hard questions restaurant tonight, but Mister Tyler did not go.

Because he was playing his hockey game. 

We watched the not scary detective program again tonight. 

That was a good idea. 

Day One Thousand and Twenty Eight

Miss Pancake 

We had another very too hot day. 

But we went for our walk before it got too full of that too hot for your feet. 

We did not even open the window sheets. Ha.

When Zita went into our office I went into the den and went fast asleep.

Because going for walk when it is hot makes you very tired.

Then I went into the living room to help Niamh’s relax. 

But when Craig had his croissant breakfast I was still fast asleep. 

Because when I had my relax I went to asleep by mistake. Too bad for me. 

Then Niamh came upstairs because Dina’s house does not have a cold air machine.

And she was nearly all melted. 

So the fast car took Niamh and I to find her, and bring her to our house.

So she can work and not be a puddle. Ha.

And when we got home it was time for my lunch. 

So I did not stay outside.

After my lunch I helped Craig with his next croissant. 

Then I went into our office to be Zita’s best helper. 

But she was very noisy throwing out lots of not important anymore papers. 

When her work was all over Niamh went to a ride on the very fast bicycle. 

Because she wanted to find a too many chips restaurant. 

I did not go, because it was almost my dinnertime. 

But I took Zita to our favourite hardware store.

But we went in the fast car because of the too hot.

And I got a treat at that very nice store. Good for me. 

We had croissants all with chicken inside.

And I got some.  

Then we watched a new detective program. But not a scary one tonight. 

Day One Thousand and Twenty Seven

Miss Pancake 

Everybody had a very quiet day today. And for all day too.

Because it was way too hot, so we just stayed inside. 

Craig said that was hotter today than even yesterday. My goodness me. 

So Zita and I went outside for an early in the morning walk, before it was way too hot for my feet. 

We did not see Mister Coal or Miss Nula.  Oh well. 

When we got home I helped Zita and Niamh with their important work. 

And I said hello to my friend Miss Erin. 

She is still in far away but it is not so hot there today.

Today Mister Kyle and his friends are starting to make Miss Jennifer’s house all beautiful inside.

Zita and I went outside and talked to them. 

So I would know they are not stealing Miss Jennifer’s whole house. 

Craig and I had a croissant for our breakfast, and we had another one for lunch. Ha.

When I went into the living room for my after lunchtime nap, Craig came with me, to keep me company. 

Because we are best friends. 

When the work was all finished Zita and Niamh went to the too much of everything store.

And when they came home we had a very big box of new giant croissants. 

And Niamh’s most very favourite cookies from France, and an all cooked already chicken. 

I had some for my dessert. Ha.

Then Craig and Zita and Niamh and I watched the scary detective show.

I  was their brave minder dog. Ha.

Day One Thousand and Twenty Six

Miss Pancake 

It was way too hot today so as soon as we had our breakfasts we went for a very long walk.

And we saw lots of other dogs on their own walks.

Because not one person wanted to get melted. So everybody went on very early walks.

And when we got home I was Zita very best garden minder.

Because we went to our for vegetables garden. And made it spic and span. 

We stayed there for a very long time and then the clouds went away.

And just like that it was too hot, so we went into our house. Ha.

Because we have a lovely cool house. 

And as soon as Craig was awake we saw Emmet on the flat computer. 

So Craig and Zita and Emmet talked all about the lovely wedding. 

But before Emmet is going to England two times. 

Because people asked him to tell everybody his very interesting stories.

It is good Emmet has lots of stories to tell.

And now the University wants him to tell even more of those stories. For more real money. 

That university had a good idea. 

That was a very long wedding talk, so I had my nap on the living room floor. Where is was very cool. Ha. 

Miss Jennifer gave us own made French giant pancakes. 

French pancakes are not a bit fat. So you can eat lots of them. Ha.

Then Zita went to that special shop to get things to make Niamh’s dress for our wedding all very beautiful. 

I had my afternoon nap outside. But not where it was too hot. 

But when that sunshine, moved I came into my house and finished my nap.

And later Zita went out to get some tasty treats for Craig and my breakfasts. 

And when she got home so did my friend Niamh too.

That made me very happy. 

And we had bacons sandwiches for our dinner. And some had cheese too. Ha. 

I got cheese with my dinner too. 

Then Niamh went to her comfy bed, because she was too tired, and Zita went out to give our vegetables a big drink of water.

I have my own bowl of water. 

And sometimes Zita puts it in the side yard. If I am having an outside relax. 

Then we watch a new program and it had real detectives in it. And it was not scary. Ha. 

Day One Thousand and Twenty Five

Miss Pancake 

We did not have a sleep in today.

Because we went for a very long lovely walk all around our own streets before it was too hot. 

And we met my friend Nula. And we played chase. She is very big. Because she is a mountain dog. 

But I am faster. We had a very good time. 

Then we went home and had a quiet relax.

It was very quiet because all my friends are not here.

Niamh and Mister Tyler are visiting Tara and Taylor’s new house. In Toronto.

And they are going to a party for the house. My goodness. 

And the brought a very lovely little dragon, so when the new baby is there they will have a wonderful new friend.

I think it is a friend of Rhome Clay and Mister T’er Ceri. Ha. 

And Tarryn and Mister Jamie are very far away where the very big ocean is. 

An aeroplane took them there last night. 

They are going to be in a very very big hotel. 

With lots of very fluffy pillows. 

And Tarryn found a store where they teach you how to stick people with pointy swords. 

Right there in that downtown. My goodness me.

Maybe Tarryn will go there. Maybe. 

After Zita had her even more coffees we went on another walk. 

Right over to Susan’s house. And we had another relax with Susan. 

When we got home Craig and his very old friends were talking on the computer. 

So I said hello to everybody, because I am always very polite. It is our rule. 

Then Zita had to do some errands, but I stayed here to mind Craig and helped him with that peanut butter sandwich. 

When Zita came back home I was very excited and I helped her with the beautiful flowers in our side yard. Ha.

Craig just stayed in the den to watch the football game. And our team even won.

We had very delicious ham for dinner and I got some extra pieces.

Then we watched the last of that scary program. 

Last night Zita did not leave enough room for me on the comfy bed. 

So I kept Craig comfy warm instead. Too bad for Zita. 

Day One Thousand and Twenty Four

Miss Pancake 

It was a very lovely day today. 

So we had a very nice very long all over here walk.

Then we went to our office to work, but I went to fast asleep.

I only was awake when Craig got a giant muffin for his breakfast.

I had to help him, because those muffins are too big.

Then Miss Jennifer came here. And Mister Kyle too.

He is going to fix Miss Jennifer’s house all up, so Emma and Rai can have beautiful bedrooms in the basement.

Just like Emmet’s and Niamh’s bedrooms. Ha.

And he is going to take away the giant raccoons’ tree. 

Because those raccoons always steal Miss Jennifer’s garbage and leave it everywhere. 

Mister Kyle fixed stuff in our house a long time ago.

And he thought I was Poppy. 

Because he knew her a long time ago. And they were friends. 

Maybe we will be friends. It is always nice to have friends. 

Niamh and Tyler are at Miss Tara’s new house. I saw them on the magic map. 

After lunchtime I had my afternoon nap on the very comfy sofa in the den. 

But Zita did not need me all afternoon, so I had a very long comfy nap. 

We had a very quiet day today. 

We went for a before dinner walk, but we did not see any of my friends today. 

We had those chips all coved with tasty cheese. I got some too.

Then we watched our program, but it does not have any detectives. But it is very scary. So I just have a nap on Zita’s leg.

Day One Thousand and Twenty Three

Miss Pancake 

It was not a beautiful full of lovely warm sunshine today. 

But it was windy and windy days are my favourite.

And when we went to find Niamh the fast car took us and I had my head out the window the whole time.

And then my ears flaped all over. Ha.

I saw lots of dogs, but they were not in fast cars. Too bad for them. 

When we got home it was go to work time for everybody. 

So I minded everybody from my favourite comfy chair. 

And I watch the whole outside from my watching window. 

But when Niamh was finished her work I got up on the sofa.

To keep her company.

I can only get up on that sofa when my friend Niamh is there, and my special blanket it there too. 

But then Niamh had to go to the beautiful hair shop. 

So she would be as beautiful as could be when she goes on that train. The one that can find Toronto.

Sometimes those trains in far away Ireland cannot find Galway. I do not know why. 

They have to go somewhere else first. Oh dear. 

Craig said they are hiding from cousin Emma. Oh dear. 

I had my nap outside in the windy side yard. 

When it was lunchtime Craig dropped my lunch, and it was all over the floor. Even on his shoes. That was silly.

So Zita made little piles and I ate them. Right off the floor. That was silly. 

Then I helped Zita in our office. 

Then Zita and Niamh went to find a lovely present for when Tara has her own baby.

But they got all caught by lots and lots of cars not going anywhere. 

They were even not going anywhere on my streets. Both of them. 

I did not know why. Either did Craig. My goodness me. 

It took a very long time for Zita and Niamh to get home.

And then Niamh packed all the for Tara presents in that giant bag and we took her to Tyler’s. In our fast car.

And I put my head out the windows again.

And when we got home it was detective program time for us. Ha. 

Day One Thousand and Twenty Two

Miss Pancake 

We did not win that important hockey game last night. Oh well. Too bad for us. 

But we had a very good party anyway.

Because all my friends were here. And we had Mister Tony’s delicious pizzas. 

And chip and beers and wine too. My goodness.

And I was the very best minder dog ever. Everybody told me. 

And everybody gave me treats and I did not even get sick. Ha.

And Sach sat in my comfy chair to watch that hockey game.

But I did not mind. Because we are friends. 

This morning we only went for a little walk, because of the too hot.

After our lunch the fast car was a bit sick. 

And it would not even wake up even a little bit. 

So a nice man came in a big truck, and opened up the fast car and looked inside.

And said that a box was just all dead. 

So he had put a brand new box inside. 

And just like that it was all right again. Ha. That was a very good truck. 

So then the fast car took Zita and Niamh and me to see my nice doctor Smith.

Because it was time for me to get my nasty bugs shots and he looked in my ears too. 

And he said I was perfect. 

And I was not even a bit chubbly. 

That is good, because if you are chubbly you cannot have even one treat. 

Not even tasty cheese. 

When we got home I was a bit very tired. 

So I had a beside Craig nap. 

Going to see my doctor always makes me tired.

So when Zita and Niamh went out to do some important shopping I stayed in my house to mind Craig.

Zita and Niamh went to find presents for Tara and Taylor.

Because they just found a very nice house. 

Because that apartment would be too small when the new baby is there too.

And Niamh and Tylor are going to Toronto to visit them.

And sleep in that new house. 

So they are bringing presents for the baby and for the house too. My goodness.

Maybe tasty treats too. 

Because you always bring treats when you go visiting people. It is the rule. 

And they are going on a train too. My goodness.

And tonight Niamh and Tarryn and Cara are going to a hockey game.

Because Tyler and Jamie and Devon are all playing hockey tonight. 

And they are on the same team. My goodness me. That is exciting. 

Maybe they will win.  Maybe. 

Day One Thousand and Twenty One

Miss Pancake 

My goodness me. What a morning we had. My goodness me.

When I went outside to say hello to the world there was a raccoon in our tree. 

It was not a giant raccoon, just a racoon. 

But it did not want to come down and say hello to me. It just stayed in the tree. Too bad for it.

But we could not stay, because we had way too much work to do. 

So we went into our office.

When Niamh came upstairs, I took her outside, but that raccoon was gone. Oh well. 

So I stayed with her in the living room when she was talking to all those far away as can be people. 

When Craig got up he stayed in our den.

Because everywhere else was busy. 

So I went into our office the den too. So he would not be lonely. 

And when it was my lunchtime I got extra peanut butter on top.

Then I went out side to help Zita with all our very lovely flowers. 

And when they were perfect, we went for our after lunch walk. That was a good idea. 

Tonight we had a hockey game party at our house. Because it was an important hockey game.

There was Mister Aidan and Stephanie and Niamh and Tyler and Craig and Zita and me.

That too many peoples for the den.

So we brought Niamh’s very big television upstairs.

And the Badgers went on top of the speakers and that television was right there.

So everybody could watch it together. 

And Zita got bags and bags of tasty chips and boxes of beers. My goodness.

My friend Sach came here too. My goodness, we had an exciting night in our house. 

Day One Thousand and Twenty

Miss Pancake

We had a very nice quiet day today.

After our breakfasts and a very lovely all around in the sunshine walk Tarryn came for her coffee.

And Niamh came upstairs, because she was all awake.

Then Zita and Tarryn and Mister Clifford went downtown to the rascal ladies basement. 

To make everything neat and tidy.

Niamh went into our comfy office to do her lots of work, and I went in to be her best helper. 

And to say hello to Miss Erin too. 

When Craig got up and all dressed I helped him with his brand new Mister Kettleman’s bagel. 

But then after my lunch I went back into our office. 

Incase Niamh needed me. 

Colonel Dugal called us today. On Craig’s flat computer. He was very upset. 

All the Badgers looked at a parade yesterday and they were so sad Dugal had to call us.

He said not even one of those soldiers had their very best uniforms on, and there was not even one bagpipe. 

And everyone knows you cannot have a real parade without bagpipes. 

And today was even the anniversary of his regiment’s fight with the nasty French cavalry. 

But his soldiers had bagpipes. 

That is why they won. Dugal told me so. 

My goodness me. 

We even has that picture, downstairs. but we could not see Dugal. 

Maybe he was painting it.

After her work was all finished, Niamh went for an adventure ride on her very fast bicycle. ‘

Maybe she will find ice cream. Maybe.

It was a bit hot outside, so I had my afternoon naps in my cool house. With my friend Craig. 

When Niamh got back she and Dina went to a movie. 

And Zita did not get back until past my dinnertime, but she brought chips and a Mister McDonald’s hamburger home for Craig.

But then she had a meeting with her friend Miss Bethany. 

I stayed here and helped Craig eat his pretend chips. Ha.

And when Zita got home it was our own bedtime. My goodness me. It was a long day for me. 

Day One Thousand and Nineteen

Miss Pancake

We had a lovely long sleep last night.

And this morning was a beautiful outside day. 

So we went for a very long all over walk.

But we did not see any of my friends. Maybe because we were very early walkers today.

Today is the day for fathers all over. 

But we did not have one.

Because Craig said he got so many lovely presents for his birthday, especially my very exciting book, he had no room for more. 

But Niamh and Tyler came here to borrow the fast car.

Because they went to Taylor’s house for a could cook everything outside party. 

Zita and I were very busy with our beautiful flowers. 

But Zita and Niamh think our lovely tree is too big. 

Niamh said it looks like tigers live in our garden. My goodness me. 

That would not be so very good. Tigers are very fierce. 

I stayed in my side yard nearly all afternoon, after my lunch. 

We have so many beautiful flowers there I can go to fast asleep with beautiful smells in my nose. 

Zita and Mister Clifford went out to find sone nice dirt for our garden.

Craig stayed here so he could have a relax.

So I stayed here to mind him. 

And to have a nice comfy chair nap.

When Zita got home she went to talk to Miss Jennifer. Right on the front steps. 

Then it was dinnertime. 

And Zita went up to the nice men on the busy street and got their very delicious rolled ups for dinnertime. 

That was a very good idea. Those are Craig’s and Zita’s favourites. 

Then we watched our new detective program. 

Day One Thousand and Eighteen

Miss Pancake

We even had a little sleep in this morning.

But when we were all awake I went outside and it was another beautiful day. 

So Zita left the door open for me.

So I could have a lovely time watching all the little birds.

When Zita had her coffees I had my breakfast. 

Then we sat in the living room and looked out the windows before we went on our hello to everybody walk. 

My friend Tarryn came over to visit me and have her good morning coffee.

Because we always have tasty coffees in our house. And biscuits too. 

When Craig was awake it was my lunch time, bust I was fast asleep outside.

When I woke up he and Zita and Tarryn were talking about Tarryn going on a lovely holiday.

She and Mister Jamie are going on an aeroplane to visit the very far away ocean. 

And then they are going on a boat to a not even very far away island with a giant hotel.

And they are going to stay in that hotel. My goodness me.

And Tarryn’s little brother lives on that island too. My goodness me. 

Then Niamh came here too, so she and Tarryn could do their important errands together. 

I helped Zita move the fast car. 

But we did not go anywhere, just back behind Mister Clifford. 

Zita got the blow everything everywhere machine so I stayed in the house. 

And when I went out, our giant do not get too hot umbrella was there. That is a very good umbrella. 

Because even when we have way too much sunshine I can have my lovely naps underneath it. Ha. 

After lunchtime Zita and Susan had to go so they could do some together shopping.

I stayed here so Craig would not get in trouble. Ha. 

But when Zita got home we went for an adventure drive. And I went too, in Mister Clifford. 

And after a while Zita talked to a lady at the extremely delicious hamburgers store, on her own telephone.

And they made hamburgers for us and giant chips too.

So Craig and I went home and Zita and Mister Clifford went to the store and brought those hamburgers home. Ha.

And we had them for our dinner.

I got a giant chips too on top of my own dinner.

Then we watched our detectives. 

And when we went to bed we were all full to the top. Ha. 

Day One Thousand and Seventeen

Miss Pancake 

Today was an open door day. My goodness me.

Zita and I went for our lovely walk. 

And it was a so full of sunshine day that Zita had to wear her black glasses.

But we could not stay outside because we had way too much work to do.

It was a three coffees good morning. Oh dear. 

And at lunchtime Zita had to go to downtown for a meeting. 

But I stayed right here to mind my friend Craig. And helped him with his lunchtime muffin. 

Then I went into our side yard for a nap in the sunshine. 

We have beautiful flowers all over my side yard fence. 

And this morning I saw little birds in our the outside bathtub. Ha.

But I had a very quiet afternoon. 

And I found all the best sunny spots in my side yard. For my relaxes. 

When Zita got home, she brought Niamh and Tarryn too.

Because tomorrow they are going to help my friend Sach move to her new all by herself apartment.

And it is it far far away anymore.

So now she can visit me all the time. 

So the fast car will help them move Sach’s stuff. That is a good idea. 

When the fast car was gone Zita went outside to put all the flowers in the right places. 

And made everything all as beautiful as could be. Ha. 

We had cheese toasties for our dinner. 

When we went into the den to watch the detectives two very very loud fast aeroplanes went right over my house. Two times. 

And I was not even a bit scared. Ha.

They came to look at the football game up on our busy street. 

They were airforce aeroplanes, not people aeroplanes. 

People aeroplanes are not so very fast. Or so very very loud. My goodness me. 

Day One Thousand and Sixteen

Miss Pancake

It was a very nice outside day today.

But we did not have a sleep in, so we could have a very long looking at everything walk. 

Before we went to our work.

And I found a new friend, Miss Rose. She is a very nice dog too. 

So we did some slow walking together.

Then I took Zita home. To do our important work. 

But after Zita had her next coffees the fast car took us to get Niamh and some brand new bread.

And it was the very best round like a ball bread from France. 

And when we got home it was back to work for everybody. 

Niamh was working with my friend Miss Erin in far away. Where the giant mountains are. 

So I minded both of them right in the living room. 

Craig did not have a sleep in today, so he went in the den to have his own coffees and one of those giant muffins. 

I kept him company, so I got all the tasty crumbs 

After lunchtime Miss Lilly came here to do her university work where it was not even a bit too hot. 

Craig made us a very delicious very fat peanut butter and honey sandwich.

And he used that brand new bread, so it was very delicious. 

When our work was all finished Zita and Niamh went to the grocery store.

Because Zita needed something delicious for us, and Niamh had to find nice food for Tyler’s apartment.

Last night they even won at the hard questions game. Ha. 

My friend Mister Aidan was playing that kick the ball game, but he kicked it too hard.

And now his foot is a bit broken. 

But not too all broken, so he did not need to borrow our other go fast chair. That is good. 

Craig was a bit too sore today.

So because I am his very best nurse I always lean up against him.

That keeps him toasty warm. 

You cannot be too sore if you are toasty warm. It is the rule. 

And that is a good job for me. 

Zita said that Craig’s brand new tidy haircut was not so very good. Oh dear. 

So she is going to find the other cut your hair man.

Because he alway made Craig look all very neat and tidy. 

Because we all will have to be neat and tidy when Emmet and Miss Doctor Alice get to be all married. 

It is Zita’s  and Niamh’s rule. 

Maybe I will have painted toes like my friend Sach. Maybe. 

Or a beautiful new collar, that has sparkles. 

Tonight we watched a scientist and a detective. They were trying to find a nasty man. 

Craig and Zita had some treats, I got some lots of tasty cheese. 

So I was all full up when we went to our beds. 

Day One Thousand and Fifteen

Miss Pancake 

It was all beautiful again today.

And it was our not any work on Wednesday day.

So we went on a very long good morning walk.

And when got home Niamh was as busy as could be in our office. I minded her.

Because today was Zita’s breakfast with Susan and Chris. 

When Craig was up he had his coffees and a muffin.

But I could not help him today.

Because I was very busy minding Niamh.

Because when she is very busy a raccoon or maybe a skunk might just come in the house and she would not notice them.

Because she is so busy. 

That is why I did not have my muffin today.  Oh well. 

When Zita got home she and Craig went to the neat and tidy shop in Mister Clifford.

Because he was all messy again. 

I did not go because I was too busy minding my house and Niamh all at the same time.

But Zita got him a prize, for being neat and tidy again.

A brand new butter tart. Ha. 

And he ate it all up. By himself. 

When they got home Auntie Eileen called so Zita and I went into the sunny side yard to talk to her. 

We have comfy chairs there, but only in the summertime. 

Sometimes we have our breakfasts outside. If it is not too hot. 

We got a brand new bathtub for our friends the birds.

We used to have one, but it got broken. I think those raccoons did it. 

Now Mister Fred guards it. Ha. 

Zita took Niamh to the hard questions restaurant, so I only had to guard Craig and Zita at dinner. 

We had refrigerator pizza. But we cannot tell Mister Tony. 

Because he would be sad. So it is a secret. 

There were lots of those little very fast boats in my pond before dinnertime. 

I think they are chasing those nasty fishes away. 

We watched a new, not too scary detective program tonight. That was a good idea. 

Day One Thousand and Fourteen

Miss Pancake 

When I was all awake and went outside, it was not rainy at all, and it was not hot either.

So we went for a very long around here walk. 

We did not see my friends Miss Nula or Mister Cole today. 

But we looked at both of our lovely ponds and saw the ducks.

So we were all ready for work when we got home. 

Zita said she was only talking to a rascal lady and did not need so much help today.

So I went into the den and went to fast asleep, until Craig was all dressed. 

Then it was time for me to help him with the giant muffins. 

Then Zita and Niamh and I went for our lovely lunchtime walk. 

That is my favourite walk, because I have to mind Zita and Niamh at the same time. 

And when we got home it was past past my lunchtime.

But my friend Craig found some of my favourite peanut butter. 

And he put it on my food.  

When I was finished Zita needed me to help her in our office. 

So I did not have time to see what those men are doing on my other street. 

Yesterday there were lots and lots of pictures of far away Cork on Craig’s flat computer.

And we looked and looked and we could not find my Emmet or Miss Doctor Alice. Too bad for us. 

There was a beautiful picture for me. It was in our mail. 

And there was writing on the back.

And it was from my badger friend Colonel Dugal

And the picture was of a very big truck. 

And he said he was a bit tired, because he drove it all across far away Russia.

But he wanted us to know he and second Cousin Colonel General Alekzandra Bryhada were perfectly safe.

But he needs a bit of a nice relax and Auntie Elseabeth has invited Ferrgus and Festis to visit them in France.

Festis told me that he thought that dealing with Cousin Mórag and all her dogs, is more than they can handle on their own. My goodness. 

She sent aeroplane tickets to Monaco. Leaving tomorrow night.

Furrgus said fortunately they always have fully packed bags at the ready, they just have to choose the right passports for the excursion. 

Dugal insisted they bring their regimental dress uniforms, it is nearly France after all. 

They are going to stay in Auntie Elseabeth’s suit at the Hermitage. My goodness.

Because it is very close to the casino. 

But Furrgus told me that he has to share a bathroom with his brother, because there are only four bathrooms in the suite. 

They asked if I wanted to go for a nice visit, but I have already been on an Aeroplane, so I will just stay here, to mind my family.

And I have my very own, just for me, bathroom in our side yard. Ha. Too bad for them.

Last night there was a very big raccoon walking across my patio. Oh well.

We had tasty pastas for dinner and I got tasty cheese on my dinner.

Then Craig and Zita and Niamh went into the den to watch the scary detective program.

So I had to mind them.

Because it was scary. My goodness. 

Day One Thousand and Thirteen

Miss Pancake 

It was not a beautiful day today for me.

Because of the lots of rain, but our lovely bushes are very happy.

When we went on our before work walk it was not raining. So I did not get soggy. 

And we met my friend Miss Nula.

And we ran all over. 

It is nice to have nice friends. 

And when we got home the fast car brought Niamh here, so I could help her with her important work.

But sometimes I went into our office to help Zita, and sometimes in the den for a nice relax

Today was a good day for a relax. 

Craig did not have a sleep in today.

So I helped him with his way too big muffin. 

When I was looking out my window Zita said you could see our grasses growing. 

But I did not see that, and I watched them for a long time.

Maybe it was because Zita did not use her brand new glasses. 

There were men on our other and they fixing a very big tree.

And some of them were right at the top. But they did not fall all down and be squished. That was good.

After I had my lunch I took Zita and Niamh on an empty your head walk around.

Craig did not have go, because his head was not so full. 

Because he is retired, and does not have to remember everything anymore.

When we got back home Zita and Niamh went back to work and I went into the den. 

For a nice nap on my beautiful sofa. 

And when Zita was very finished with the work I helped her in the kitchen. 

Then Niamh and I had a relax right on the living room sofa.

And when we were full of relax, it was time for Niamh to practice her guitar music.

But I was having a nice outside nap. Ha.

After dinner Tarryn came here for her cappuccinos. Ha.

Craig and Zita and I went to the den to watch the new detective program.

Then we went to our comfy bed. 

Day One Thousand and Twelve

Miss Pancake 

We had a little sleep in this morning.

Because it was sleep in Sunday. 

When we got up I had my breakfast and Zita had her special fluffy coffees.

And then we looked out the windows because it was a beautiful day again. 

So we went on our good morning walk, but we did not find any of my friends today. 

When we got back the fast car brought my friend Niamh home from that cottage. 

I do not think they ate so much at that cottage.

Maybe just those green lemons and beers. My goodness.

Niamh could not stay with me, because she had to go to a party with Mister Tyler’s sisters. 

And have a shower. With his cousin. That is silly. 

When we got back from our walk Craig was as awake as could be, so I helped him with that too big muffin. 

Zita went to the beautiful plants store without me, because I had to mind Craig. 

So I had a relax in my own chair.

Miss Sally has her own chair, just like me. That is good. 

And a watching window too. 

And her own lovely duvet. Ha. 

When Zita got home, she went into the garden until it was time to make delicious hamburgers. 

And I even got a very tasty bit too.

Then Craig had to find a brand new detectives program. 

Because we watched all of the last one last night. Oh well.

And Zita had to fix our other garden. 

So I have to mind her from the window in our den. My goodness.

Day One Thousand and Eleven

Miss Pancake 

We got up early again today.

Because Niamh and Tyler wanted to go swimming right away. 

So the fast car took them to find Mister Ryan and took everybody to the cottage.

It was not the Mahoney’s cottage, but a different one. 

They filled the fast car with lots and lots of food. Ha.

Then Zita and I went for an all around walk, and we met my very very big friend Mister Cole, and his friend Miss Claire. 

They are very nice dogs, so we had a very lovely time.

Craig did not have a sleep in at all.

Because Zita went to visit Mister Rogers’s make your hair beautiful shop.

So Craig had to help me look out the windows. 

To make sure everything outside was alright.

And today he did not miss his old friends’ breakfast. 

He had a giant brand new muffin, but it was so big he could not finish it. Me either. 

We got it at the way too big store. Ha. 

And when Zita got back she did not have so much lots of hair now.

But it was adventure ride time for us. 

So Craig and Zita got into Mister Clifford and went to that too big hardware store.

I went too, so Zita would have the best minder dog with her. 

And that was me.

And we found some beautiful plants and even more stones.

But the lady did not give me a treat when we were finished.

Our nice hardware store always gives me a giant treat. 

It is a very good store for polite dogs. 

And then we went to another place and found an ice cream store.

And Craig gave me some of his milkshakes in my own bowl. In the car. Ha. 

Then we went home, because it was very hot outside for dogs. 

And it was way past my lunchtime. 

So after lunch I had my afternoon nap in our cool air house. 

But Zita stayed outside to put all the lovely plants away.

And to tidy up our patio. 

Then she took some of our own very beautiful flowers to Susan. 

When it was our dinnertime there was only Craig and Zita for me to mind. That was an easy job. 

After dinner we watched more of the detectives from far away Scotland.

Day One Thousand and Ten

Miss Pancake 

My goodness me. 

In the middle of the night I heard a noisy sound when I was fast asleep.

So quick as could be, I ran into our kitchen. With my very fierce barks. 

But it was only Sach. 

She had to go to her stretching yourself all over.

And she has to pay people money to show her how to stretch. 

Even early in the morning. That is silly.

So I went back to my comfy little house.

Then when Zita and I were awake Niamh and Tarry came upstairs.

Because they all slept over here last night. 

So we had an everybody breakfast.

And after our nice walk we all had to go to our work. 

I did not stay outside so much today. 

Because all our air did not smell like nice air. 

So Zita made sure all our make nice air machines were on. 

When Craig had his coffee he did not have a muffin, or a croissant, because they were all gone.

So we had two cookies instead. 

After lunch the fast car took Niamh to the way too much store with Miss Lizz

Because Niamh and Tyler are going to her cottage.

That lady works with Niamh and there will lots of people there.

So they had to go and get tasty food for the cottage. 

Maybe hotdogs and beers. Or delicious doughnuts. Maybe.

Mister Tyler is going to sleep here tonight.

Because they have to get up way too early to go to cottages. It is the rule. 

A man caught a giant fish in my pond. 

And his little dog helped. 

And it was one of those nasty fish that try to catch my friends the ducks. 

But now it cannot catch anything. 

Because it was caught. Ha. Too bad for that fish. 

This morning Colonel Dugal told me that a very long time ago he and lots and lots and lots of his friends got in boats and went to France.

Because very nasty people stole it. 

So they all went to get it back. My goodness. 

They had to get it back or nobody in the whole world would ever get delicious croissants or tasty smelly cheese again.

Festis and Furrgus were there too and they brought their own bagpipes player. Ha. 

And he had the very big ones that scare nasty people. 

And a big gun too. Just in case. Ha.

Auntie Elseabeth was there too. 

But not with Festis or Furrgus.

Because she jumped out of an aeroplane, all by herself. 

So she could blow up bridges before anybody got there. Ha. 

Maybe that is why she only has one real leg. My goodness me.

Dugal said she was very pretty and rich, so his uncle The Laird, had to get Lochlainn’s grand father’s brothers to keep the riff raff away. Oh dear. 

But then she even got married to one of them. 

I do not know to which brother. But not all of them.

After my naps, Zita was all finished work, and she and Mister Clifford went to the nice groceries store to get things.

Because Niamh and Mister Tyler had a together dinner with us. 

Maybe there will be cheese. Maybe. 

We had outside cooked steaks and Mister Tyler cooked them. My goodness. 

After our dinner Craig watched at bit of that hockey game. 

Then we watched those detectives in Scotland. 

Day One Thousand and Nine

Miss Pancake 

We did not have to go work today. 

Because Zita and I went to work yesterday, and it was our no work on Wednesday. Oh dear.

But Niamh still had lots of work to do. 

So Zita and I got her a Mister Tyler’s apartment.

They did not win at the hard questions restaurant last night. Oh dear. 

Our friend Susan came over for her before lunchtime coffee. 

And then Craig was all awake too.

But there was not even one muffin left for our breakfast. 

I think somebody else ate them. 

Maybe squirrels. 

Then the fast car took Zita and Susan to do their errands. 

But Zita found some Irish bread in our refrigerator. 

So Craig and I had three pieces for his lunch. 

Then I had my naps, sometimes outside.

It was an all open door day today, but this afternoon Miss Alexa told us there was too much smokey air.

So we had to close the door. 

Because lots and lots of beautiful trees are on fire far away. 

Even where Craig lived when he was very little. 

And even some people’s own houses got all burned up. Oh my dear. 

But we have those make the air clean as can be machines.

So Niamh brought one up from the basement, and put the other one in her bedroom. 

So then I had a very lovely relax with my friend Niamh. 

And before our dinner Sach came here to visit me and Niamh. That was a good surprise. 

And they went out and when they got back they had go fast shoes for Niamh,

But right away they went to find Tarryn.

Craig and Zita and I watched a new detective program. And it was from Scotland.

Maybe we will see Cousin Mórag or Mister Lochlainn. 

Day One Thousand and Eight

Miss Pancak

It was a beautiful door open day today. 

So after our breakfasts we went on a lovely long walk.

But I did not meet any of my friends today. Oh dear.

But we had to go right back and go to our office.

Because everybody has way too much work to do. 

So I was very very busy minding Niamh in the living room and Zita in our office. My goodness me.

Craig did not have a nice sleep in either. My goodness.

But I helped him with his lovely muffin when he had his good morning coffees. 

Then I went into our office for a nap. 

Because Niamh went downstairs to her office, to talk to people far away. 

But then Craig had to remind me that my lunch was all ready. Oh well.

Then it was time for my after lunchtime nap.

It was such a very beautiful outside day that Mister Tom went for an adventure ride on his 

loud motorcycle.

It is his from Italy motorcycle. 

He did not come here, because he was going to practice his fast driving. 

Because he got new fast as can be tires. 

My friend Niamh had to go shopping this afternoon.

To get some brand new fast shoes, for her feet. 

But they did not have any beautiful enough shoes.

So she does not have any brand new fast shoes. 

So Zita and I drove her to the hard questions restaurant.

So she would not be too sad about the no new shoes. 

We had the used food from our breakfast at dinnertime. 

I got some of the very delicious sausages. Ha.

Then we just watched the detectives.
