Day Four Hundred and Sixty Eight

Miss Pancake 

We could not go to the farm this morning. 

Because the fast car could not get out of our driveway.

Because of all the everywhere snow. My goodness me.

So my friend Niamh had to walk to her shop today.

This morning when Zita opened the door so I could go outside there was snow just piled up against our door.

So I jumped in all the snow and I had a very good time.

But then I was all covered in snow. Even my tummy.

And it was stick to you snow, so I had to stay in the kitchen for a very long time until I was all melted. 

Zita stayed in the kitchen to keep me company, and she talked to her parents in far away Ireland too. 

Then Zita had to go out to move lots of snow so we could find the cars. 

So she had to wear her special snow shoveling pants so she would not get all snow soggy. 

And our Mister Clifford was nearly all gone under the snow.

Because it was blowing all the time snow. 

Then Craig got up early so he could help me.

Because I could not go outside and help Zita with her shoveling. 

And I did not like that and I told everybody. 

So then I got in trouble because of the too much loud barking. 

I could only mind Zita from my window. 

That was not so much fun and I told Craig that it was not even a bit of fun. Too bad for me. 

And after I had my first lunch it started to snow again. Oh my goodness me.

I was so busy minding Zita this morning I did not have time for even one relax or a nap. 

But after my lunch time she came inside to get toasty warm and have some lunch too. 

And when I looked out my window there was a stuck in the snow car.

Because it did not have any do not get stuck tires on. Oh dear. That was silly.

And Craig said that the person did not know how to drive so very well. 

Some nice people had to push that car right out of the snow by themselves. 

Zita brought Craig some apples and cheese treats and I had a nap. 

And when Zita finished her lunch we had a together relax.

That was a good relax for us. 

But then I had to look out the window because of all the cars getting stuck on my corner.

There was even a truck stuck, but a snowplough man helped him. That was good. 

Then I had a very nice long nap.

Because I was so busy this morning minding everything. My goodness me. 

But there was so much snow Zita had to go back outside again.

But this time I did not have to mind Craig. 

Because I went outside and sat in the fast car so I could mind Zita when I was outside.

And when Zita was finished we went to our farm. 

Because I was such a very good minder dog all afternoon. Ha.

And when we got there we were all by ourselves. 

There was nobody at the farm, just Zita and me and the fast car. 

So I had the best time ever. 

The snow was so deep I could hide jump right over the snow hills. Ha.

Then it was time to go home. 

But I did not want to leave the farm. 

But Zita told be it was getting very dark and we did not want to be in the dark by ourselves, incase there were bears in the bushes. 

So we went home.

But I had so much sticky snow on my legs, I had to get in the bathtub with hot water to melt it all away. 

Then I had to wait in the kitchen until I was as dry as could be. 

Then I helped Zita to make some tasty stuff to put on top of toasts for dinner.

Then it was our time to watch our detective program before we went to our comfy beds.
