Day Three Hundred and Ninety Six

Today was Zita’s go to work downtown day. 

So Zita and I did not go to our far.

But Niamh and went instead. Ha.

And when we got there Olee was there too. And we had a lovely nice run around. 

But not a fast running around.

Because Olé is still very small and cannot run so very fast like I can.

But we had a nice time anyway.

But when we got home Niamh had to get lots of sticky burrs off me. 

And then it was time for the fast car to take her to her lovely shop. 

When she was gone Craig made us round toasts. 

But today they were a bit too toasty and we had to put lots and lots of jam on top so nobody would know. Ha. 

Then Craig read his book and I looked out my windows.

There was a very big truck on my other street. And it was full of giant trees. Oh dear.

Some times trees just fall down when they get old.

Craig’s mother’s falls down lots of times and she is very old. 

After my lunch I had a long nap on my bed in the living room.

When Zita and Niamh are away at their work Craig and I have a very quiet day. 

It is our very best day for a relax. 

I had a little nap outside in my side yard. 

But I came in, just incase Craig needed my help looking out the watching window.

It was not a bit sunny today. 

Colonel Dugal said that there is so much windy rain at his far away Castle Breachacha that they now have a moat.

But it too cold to go swimming he said. 

And he said that he had received a telegram from my friends Festis and Furrgus.

They are at Cousin Elsabeth’s little house in France. And Mister Lochlainn is there too. 

And they are going to come back home because they are tired of being dangerous. That is good. 

And because they are worried that they might not have enough time to do their Merry Christmas time shopping. My goodness.

Zita has already started our Merry Christmas shopping. 

This afternoon Craig was not very nice. 

When I went outside to look around he closed the door. 

So I barked at the door and he opened it. But he would not leave it open.

He said it was too cold. But if he leaves the door open I can go in and out whenever I want. 

I do not like closed doors. 

I told Zita when she got home. Ha. Too bad for him.

We went for a nice before dinnertime walk. Just us. Ha. 

When we got home I had my first dinner. 

And then we cooked sausages outside for dinner. 

Niamh came so fast I nearly did not see her.

Because she and her friends went to a movie. 

Then it was time for our detective program.
