Day Five Hundred and Fifteen

Miss Pancake 

When I went outside this morning it was very cold. That is silly.

It was too cold to go to the farm so after breakfast we went for a nice all around here walk.

It was not messy today because everything is just all frozen again. 

But I had salty feet so when we got home I had a bath.

Then Zita and Niamh and I were very busy with our important work.

My friend Craig stayed in his comfy bed because he had to finish his very interesting book.

But now he has to find another do not fall asleep in the middle book. My goodness. 

At lunchtime Zita and I went for another all around my neighbourhood. 

It was a full of sunshine day but it was still very cold so we walked fast. Ha.

When you are fast walking your feet are not on the cold sidewalk so much and then they do not get way too cold. 

At lunchtime Niamh went to the grocery store to get things. 

Because we are having a dinner party tonight. My goodness me. 

And Niamh is going to cook it. So I am going to be very busy tonight. It is known. 

So I had a nice nap so I would be all ready.

Then Zita went to the grocery store to get pastas. Because there were no pastas in the basement. 

When I was helping Niamh Tarryn and Mister Jamie came to help Niamh drink here beers and help the cooking.

Today is an extra day. I do not know what that is.

Maybe it is like our extra in the refrigerator food. 

And if you do not eat it you have to put it in the garbage box. Or you will just die.

My goodness that is scary. So I think we had better use this day.

Maybe that is why we are having the dinner party. Maybe.

Mister Furrgus called us from very far away Paris, on the telephone. 

They are in Cousin Elseabeth’s very old apartment. 

And today they had to go shopping for their food. 

And all the grocery stores are outside. My goodness. 

So they got lots of cheese because France is filled up with cheeses. My goodness me.

But Colonel Dugal said that not one person could understand him. When he talks in French. Oh dear. Too bad for him.

When Tyler got here he had lots of bottles of wine. Ha. 

Then my friend Sach was here too with Mister Max. 

So I was very very busy. 

And we had so much food. 

But not so much fell on the floor. Oh well.

Then we had strawberries and ice creams for everybody. 

And then Tyler, and Mister Jamie and Mister Alex looked at our big on the wall map of Italy.

Because they are all going there for that wedding too. With all my lady friends.

And I showed them where all the places are. I was a very big help. 

But we did not have any time at all to watch our detective program. Oh well. 

Day Five Hundred and Fourteen

Miss Pancake    

My goodness what a busy day.

When I got up it was raining outside. 

And it was not even a bit cold.

And all the snow was melting all over.

So it was a very messy outside today.

But Zita and I went to our farm anyway. Ha.

And I found a lake right there in my farm.

But Zita said it was really a giant puddle pretending to be a lake. 

I could not run very very fast today. Because it was slippy all over. 

Even nearly everywhere. 

So we went home before we fell down and had wet bottoms. 

And our fast car was all dry inside. 

Today is our do not go to work Wednesday, so we did not go to work at all.

But my friend Niamh had a breakfast meeting in a very big hotel downtown. 

With a lady Chief from way up north. My goodness.

Maybe she has a polar bear. Maybe 

And Zita and Susan and Chris went to the busy street to have a together breakfast.

And even Craig got up early too.

So he could help me mind the house when Zita and Niamh were gone. 

But first he had to have his coffee. And he took a very long time to drink it today.

So I had to remind him about our tasty toasts. 

I just bumped him with my nose until he remembered.

Then we made brown bread toasts. With lots of jam. Ha.

And they were just toasty enough. Sometimes his toasts are way too toasty. Oh well. 

Then I had my good morning nap, but lots of men and some trucks came to look underneath our street.

I do not know why. It is our street. 

So I barked them all away. Ha. 

Then I went back to my own chair to have more of my relax.

When Zita got back she only stayed here for a little bit.

Because she had to go shopping for delicious food.

Because tomorrow we are having a dinner party with all my friends.

I think we will have some very delicious cheeses. Maybe the soft one from France. Ha.

When it is soft you can get lots of it on your biscuits. Ha. 

Mister Tyler likes cheese a lot. Niamh told me so. 

This morning my fiends the Badgers went to France. To that learn how to cook tasty dinners school. My goodness.

And Colonel Dugal’s friend The Miss Duchess sent her own aeroplane here to our aeroport to take them there.

It is not a giant aeroplane like the one that goes to Ireland. 

It is a fast aeroplane for just some people, not lots of people. But everybody gets their own look outside window. 

And you can have wine and little sausages with cheeses from Italy, and even very delicious tiny desserts. My goodness me. 

That is a good aeroplane. We should get one too I think. 

Mister Furrgus gave Zita their secret telephone number and a key. 

In case we come under siege. Or run out of her very old whiskey. Oh dear 

They promised to bring everybody a present when they graduate. If they are not sent down first.

 Festis told me that both he and his brother were sent down from that university in Cambridge. 

Where everybody listened to Emmet’s story. 

He said it was just a silly misunderstanding and that they did not know the ladies were twins.

But their father, The Laird and Mister Lochlainn’s father straightened it all out. 

And not one person had to go to the infirmary. 

Which they considered a great success he said. 

Sometimes I do not know what the Badgers are talking about. Maybe it is their accents. 

But they said they would send me postcards. 

Craig and Zita had smelly cheese pastas for dinner. I got only a very little bit. 

But then it was time for my second dinner. 

And then Zita went to do errands, because Craig used all the peanut butter today. 

So then there was not even a bit in my house. My goodness. No peanut butter. Oh dear.

But when she came home she had milk and peanut butter too. 

Now Craig will not starve away. 

But we only had a little time before my bedtime so we only watched a little bit of the detective program. 

Day Five Hundred and Thirteen

Miss Pancake     

We had a very fast breakfast this morning.

So we could go to our farm before we had to start work.

And it was not even a bit too cold this morning. And we had a lovely time.

And I showed Zita my very best fast running. Ha.

Then the fast car took us home and we went to our office to do our work.

And after a little while Niamh came into our office so we could all be together doing our important work. Ha.

And I minded both of them. Right there in our own office.

And I had my morning nap. Right there with Zita and Niamh. 

But I did not help Craig get dressed today because I was still fast asleep.

Fast running makes me tiredly. 

Tonight Niamh is going out for dinner with another of her new bosses.

And they are going to a very fancy restaurant. And it is a very big building inside a club. 

And you cannot even get in that club if they do not know you. My goodness. 

And it is a beautiful clothes only restaurant.

Niamh has lots and lots of beautiful clothes. And lots of vey lovely shoes too. 

But now we will have to decide which is just the right beautiful for that restaurant. . 

I have not been to that kind of restaurant. 

It is a table sheets restaurant. Not just a too many chips restaurant. 

I like to go to those restaurants where they bring my treats right to me in our fast car. 

Sometimes I get special just for polite dogs treats in a cup. Ha. 

At lunchtime Zita and I went for a very nice walk. 

But it started to get cold again. 

Even as we were on our slow waking practice. It is silly weather. 

This afternoon Zita and the fast car went downtown for a little while to takes things to somewhere else.

I had a very nice nap with my friend Craig,

We had an angry bun for our breakfast and another for our lunch. 

You can only get angry buns when the snow starts to melt all away. I do not know why.

And I do not know why they are all the time angry. 

Craig says it is because people are such bad listeners that even the buns got angry. Oh dear. 

And not just here, but everywhere. 

He said that sometimes it makes him sad. 

But because I am here he cannot be sad for very long. He told me so. Ha. 

Because I am always very happy. Ha. 

Making my family happy is my very best job ever. It is known.

When Zita got home she and the fast car took Niamh downtown as fast as could be. 

She was as beautiful as could be and she had her very beautiful long coat on too. My goodness me. 

It was a Merry Christmas coat from a little while ago. 

When Zita got home it was nearly my own dinner time. 

Day Five Hundred and Twelve

Miss Pancake  

It was our Monday go to work day today.

But we had a little sleep in.

Because Zita and I got up very early when Niamh went to her stretching her whole body class.

And when we got back in our cosy bed we went to fast fast asleep. My goodness.

And when we woke up it was time for our good morning walk. So we had a very long around here walk.

So we could practice our homework, because I have school tonight. My goodness.

Then we went to our work because we had lots and lots of meetings today,

And Craig got up early too.

So we had strawberries muffins for his breakfast. 

But sometimes he is very slow when he has to drink his coffee and have his muffins at the same time.

So I had a very nice relax in the sunshine until there was only my bit left. 

Then I woke up. So I could help him, and clean up all the crumbs. Ha. That is an easy job for me.

Niamh was very busy with meetings all day too. 

So I tried to be very quiet. 

We had a very quiet afternoon because of all the be extra quiet meetings.

But as soon as the meetings were over Zita and I went to our farm so we could practice our homework again.

Because right after our farm time it was my school time. Oh dear. 

So I practiced my fast running. 

And then Zita and I watched our sunshine go away.

You do not learn fast running at school.

At school I learned how stand on a box and walk around it. 

And stay far far away from Zita until she says for me to come to be with her. 

And to walk slowly when Zita is walking slowly and fast when Zita is walking fast. Ha.

And remembered all my lessons so I graduated and got another medal. 

From my school. 

But I do not want to have to wear a funny hat like Emmet. 

Tarry and Niamh went out to have a dinnertime together.

But they went out the front door. 

Because there was a smelly skunk outside near our side yard. 

And nobody wanted to be all smelly.  

So then Zita and Craig and I watched a detective program and it was in Dublin. 

So maybe we will see all our cousins, or Nana and Grandad. Maybe. 

Day Five Hundred and Eleven

Miss Pancake     

It was sleep in Sunday but Zita and I only had a little sleep in. 

I helped Zita make the very tasty with peaches dessert. 

But when we tried it is was not tasty at all.

Because some of those peaches were not good peaches. So we threw it all away.

But it was not my fault. Zita told me so that is good.

Then because it was not cold today so we went to our farm.

And we had a very good relax while we were there. 

It was a very sunny day at the farm.

When we got home and after I had clean feet I helped Craig get up.

But he was all dressed and awake before Niamh and Tyler. Ha. Too bad for them.

Craig and I had those very tasty all made with molasses cookies with his first coffee 

When we were having our coffee and cookies Zita talked to her mother and father in Ireland.

I do not think they have the very delicious molasses cookies in Ireland. Too bad for them.

And they talked about me. Ha. 

And at the end Craig talked to Zita’s mother and told her we were going to send her a beautiful picture of me. 

Because she is my grand-nana. My goodness. I did not know that. 

That was a very good idea. 

Then Niamh and Tyler were all awake. 

They did not get home from Cara’s house until way way too late.

Then they had to come home because they drank all the wine. Ha. Too bad for them.

Today was a baking day in our kitchen. 

When you bake things you put them inside the stove, when you cook things you put them on top of the stove. I did not know that.

So Zita and I made the very delicious from Ireland bread.

Because we threw out those nasty peaches. Oh Well.

And when Niamh and Tyler were gone we made muffins from our raspberries.

Zita said it was a new recipe so maybe they might not be very very tasty. But it was very tasty recipe. 

And Craig and I had one as soon as it was not too hot. Ha. 

This afternoon Craig and Zita put another box on top of that music machine in the den. 

So we can have even more beautiful music whenever we want. Ha. 

And it worked the very first time. Craig was so surprised. My goodness me.

Zita was inside Mister Clarence for a long time this afternoon.

Get him all ready for me to go on adventures with Craig and Zita. Ha.

Then Zita and Niamh went to our neighbours to see Miss Ray and Miss Emma’s brand new just for playing in room.

Like our den. I hope they have a very comfy sofa too. Ha.

We had an everything for dinner tonight. 

So there would not be any extra food in the refrigerator.

Because sometimes we forget about them and they get funny looking. 

And Zita puts them in the garbage. 

Then it was just the right time to watch our detective program. 

I went in the den to get the sofa toasty warm for Zita. 

After our program was over it was time for us to go to bed. 

That is my favourite time at night. 

Day Hundred and Ten

Miss Pancake   

When I put my nose outside this morning it almost fell right off. It was so cold outside.

So we just had our breakfast and did not go for our good morning walk because it was way too cold. 

So we had a relax and looked out our window at all the bundled up people. My goodness.

Then Zita remembered the was the day to make the house as clean as could be.

So I helped her.

Until she got that noisy floor cleaning machine. I went in the bedroom and kept Craig toasty.

Then when the hose was all very clean I help him get all dressed.

And then he got me my first lunch time.

Then it was only very cold outside so Zita and I went for an all around here walk. 

And when we got home both of us had to have a bath. Oh well.

I had a sick tummy this morning because I ate something outside. Oh well. 

Then Zita went to the grocery store because Niamh is bringing Tyler here for a delicious dinner. 

Maybe we will have cheese. 

Mister Tyler likes cheese. One time he brought us a cheese present. Ha. 

When Craig was writing my story I have my afternoon nap.

But sometimes I lay down on the floor. 

Just because.

When Zita came home she had bags and bags of delicious food. 

And when we put everything away Zita made cookies. 

And they were molasses cookies. Those are Craig’s favourites.

Sometimes we have cookies when we watch our detective program. 

If it is an especially good program. 

Then we went on another walk and it was still cold. But we went anyway. 

Because we are tough. Ha.

And when we got home Craig had not even eaten one cookie. Oh dear. Maybe he is sick. 

We had hamburgers for our dinner. And Zita cooked them outside even in the too cold.

Because they taste better.

Then Niamh and Tyler and Lee went to paint plates together. 

And then they went to Cara and Devon’s for tasty treats and maybe some wines too.

Craig and Zita and I watched the Scottish detectives. We had cookies. Ha. 

Day Five Hundred and Nine

Miss Pancake    

There was not even a bit of sunshine outside this more, but it was not cold.

So we walked all over my streets. Even on Craig Street.

That is the street where my house is. Right on Craig street. I did not know that.

But my friend Craig does not own it. That is not right. 

They should give it to him. That would be a good idea.

When I got home I was as dirty as could be and went right into the bathtub. 

When I was all dry and clean I helped Craig get all dressed.

He did not have even a little sleep in today.

Because his nice Doctor Lynsey came to visit him. 

So Zita made her a cappuccino. Cappuccinos are her favourite. 

She does not have nice cappuccinos in her downtown office either. Oh dear.

She has a dog too. But she said it was a very very little dog. 

Then she and Craig and Zita talked all about Craig’s shoulder and his little operation. 

I was right there beside my friend Craig so I could mind him.

Just in case the doctor was going to give him a shot.

And he wanted to run away. 

But she did not stick him. 

So then I had a very nice relax on my comfy chair.

Doctor Lynsey got an almost a motorcycle for her birthday. 

My goodness me. 

And now she is in a club with lots of other ladies who have one too. That is nice.

I think Zita should get one two. And I could sit on the back. Ha. 

And Doctor Lynsey found some new medicine for Craig. 

And someone to make exercises for that too sore shoulder. Ha

The nice Doctor Lynsey is Emmet and Niamh’s doctor too. But not Zita’s. Too bad for her. 

And when she was gone Craig got my lunch right away. I did not have to wait even a bit today. 

And after my lunch Craig had two toasty croissants for his own lunch.

Because he did not have his breakfast today.

So we had two croissants. And Craig put them in the oven so they were toasty. Ha.

Then I went into our office to help Zita with our rascal ladies work. 

When we were all finished for today Zita and I went for a lovely all over here walk. 

The snow is all melting and I could see my friend Fred. But only his eyes and his nose. 

Soon all the snow will be gone and he will be all awake to mind the beautiful garden. 

Next week all the Badgers are going to school in Paris. A cooking school. 

And they told me it is a very famous school.

And it has its very own gardens. Just like us. 

But they are changing their names, just to be safe they said. My goodness. 

Maybe they can learn how to make Niamh’s tortellinis soup, or maybe Zita’s dessert with strawberries and fluffy cream everywhere. Ha.

They are going to stay in Auntie Elsabeth’s very old very apartment. 

It even has windows in the roof. My goodness gracious me. 

She never goes to Paris anymore. Except to go to see beautiful dancing. 

She has not used that apartment since those Germans left, because it makes her too sad. 

But Dugal said that is a long story, and for another day with lots of hot chocolate and gingerbreads with cream on top.

Maybe it is a sad story. I do not like sad stories so very much. Maybe I will just eat the gingerbreads.

When we got home from our walk we went a got Niamh and brought her home for just a little.

Then we took Niamh to get Sach so they could do their stretching together.

Then our fast car took us home and we had our dinners. Craig and Zita had toasts with eggs.

Craig dropped some tasty toast on the floor for me. Zita did not see it. It was our secret toasts. 

Then we watched a brand new detective program, with two lady detectives in Scotland.

Maybe we will see Cousin Morag or Mister Lochlainn. That would be nice. 

Then everybody went to our beds.

Because it was our bedtimes. 

Day Five Hundred and Eight

Miss Pancake    

We went to our farm again today.

Beautiful it was very sunny and not even cold. 

So I showed Zita my very best fast running. 

Because I found my best fast running stick.

She told me it was the fastest running she had ever seen.

It is because I practice a lot. Ha. 

Sometimes even when I am fast asleep.

Zita told me. My goodness. 

And I got up on a hill and watched the farmer’s very big truck. 

When we got home Craig was fast asleep. 

He went to sleep even when he was listening to his new book. Too bad for him.

My friend Sach came to visit us for lunch. Ha. We were friends even the first day I was in my house. 

After she went back to her work I helped Craig with our toasts.

Because he dropped a big piece of jam right on his leg.

But I was there and licked it as clean as could be. He told me I am his best toast helper.

Then we went into the living room to look out my watching window and ate all our toasts. 

Then Mister Paul came for his coffee visit. 

He brought croissants. But I could not help them eat them.

Because Zita and I were very busy at our work today. Sand I  was her very best assistant. 

Sometimes those rascal ladies are not such very good listeners. 

Zita should get them tasty treats then they would listen. 

We had Niamh’s wonderful tortellinis soup for our dinner.

Then Zita and I took her to visit Mister Tyler and when we got home Craig was all ready to watch the detective program.

And we did.

Then we went to bed. Together. Ha.

Day Five Hundred and Seven

Miss Pancake   

Today is our no work Wednesday.

So the fast car took us to our beautiful farm.

It was still too cold but it was very very sunny at our farm.

And I met another dog. And it was a very nice dog too. 

And it was a fast running dog, just like me. So we ran all around together. 

And I showed him my very big jumping.

We had a very good time. Maybe I will see him again. That would be nice.

Then a lady came to visit me and she had giant shoes just for walking on snow. They made a funny noise. 

But she was a nice lady anyway. 

And when we were all cold as could be, the fast car took us downtown to get my friend Niamh. 

Mister Tyler had to have a very very early in the morning meeting so Niamh was working very early too.

Zita had to do some rascal ladies work, and it was on our Wednesday. Oh dear. Too bad for us.

I did not help Craig get all dressed today, because I was fast asleep on the comfy sofa in the den.

Because I was a bit tired from all that very fast running this morning. 

But he got my first lunch right away. And Niamh came upstairs so she and Craig had toasty croissants for their lunchtime.

I helped them too. I was not asleep then. 

After lunch time Zita went into Mister Clifford with a big net. 

So she can make Mister Clifford’s back seat all safe for me. That is a good idea. 

Then after my second lunch Craig had his second lunch too. 

And we had very tasty brown bread all toasty with our favourite jam. The one from far way France.

Craig’s friend Mister Adam lives in France. In a very beautiful apartment in a very old building. Beside a river right in Paris. 

When Zita got home we went for a walk in the garden.

Because Niamh was in an important meeting so we went outside, where nobody could hear me being noisy. Ha. 

After our dinner my friend Niamh took away all the nasty tangles in my beautiful fur. 

But now one side of me is still a bit all tangled. 

Zita said she was sorry that now I am a bit lopsided.

But Craig said I was as beautiful as ever. 

And he said he knows, because all of the ladies in our house are beautiful. It is true.

Then Niamh had to go and visit Miss Emily. 

So Craig and Zita and I went into the den so we could have biscuits and watch the detective lady. 

And I could have a nice relax on the comfy sofa.

Day Five Hundred and Six

Miss Pancake 

We did not go to our office this morning.

We went to our farm instead.

And practiced my very fast running.

Because I found the very biggest stick ever.

We stayed for a long long time.

Until my feet were too cold. And Zita’s fingers were too cold too. 

Because we did not have to go to work today until after lunchtime. Ha.

But Niamh had to go to work right after breakfast time. Too bad for her.

And Craig got up early and I did not have time to be his best helper this morning. 

And when he was neat and tidy Zita went to the too much of everything store. 

I stayed right here to mind Craig and Niamh. 

Craig went into the den for his first coffee and then he made us very crunchy toasts. 

And we had them in the den too.

Because Niamh was busy doing important work on the dining room table.

So we stayed in our den. 

Then a man came and Craig gave him all those wires.

Because his wires were not so nice as Craig’s old ones. 

But now he was very happy because now has lots and lots. 

But I got into trouble for too loud barking because I did not know that man.

When Zita got home she brought a big box of the very delicious croissants. 

Maybe we will have them for breakfast tomorrow. 

After lunchtime everybody went to work. Except for Craig.

Because he is too old to work. It is the rule. My goodness. Peoples have so many rules.

After a little while I went into our living room to keep him company, and to have my afternoon relax.

But then Zita needed me, because her toes were too cold so I rescued her just like that. Ha. 

 That is an easy job for me.

Craig had one of the croissants for his extra lunch. 

I heard him open that box and went into the kitchen right away to help him.

It was a very tasty croissant because it was brand new. 

Those are the best kind of croissants. 

Especially with too much delicious butter. 

Or even sometimes we put cheese inside them. My goodness me. 

When Zita and Niamh and I were finished our work Zita and I went for a walk in the too cold.

And when we got home my friend Niamh got the icy snow off my feet. 

Then another man came for more wires. 

My goodness I did not know my house was all full of wires. Oh well. Maybe they were a secret. Maybe.

We had sausages for our dinner. 

Then Zita went out with Bethany for some lots of coffees. 

When she got home it was time to watch our detective program.  

So that is what we did, altogether. Ha. 

Day Five Hundred and Five

Miss Pancake 

We did not have to go to work today. 

Because today is our middle of the wintertime holiday, so people will not be way too sad about all too much snow. 

We only had a little sleep in this morning because I had to go outside and make sure everywhere was safe. Ha.

We went for just a little walk to that backyard. 

And I found my big ball again.

But we did not walk all around here. 

Because the nasty salt hurt my feet. 

And we did not stay outside for a long time today. 

Because it was very sunny but very very cold this morning. 

So we came home where Zita told the machine in the basement to make the house warmer. Ha. That is a good machine.

Then we had lots and lots of washing to do. 

Craig did not get up so early today.

Because he did not go to fast asleep until it nearly was morning.

Because that book was too interesting.

But when he got up I was right there to be his best helper and to give him lots of hugs. 

Then it was my lunch time and after lunch I helped Craig with some very tasty brand new toast. 

Then after lunch Craig and Zita were very busy being very tidy by throwing things out. My goodness. 

And Craig filled up a big box with wires. And he is going to gave them away. 

Because we still have way too many wires. 

So he took pictures of those wires. 

I was his helper. 

Then Zita went outside in the very cold to get something a person gave her. My goodness. 

I stayed here to make sure Craig did not get into too much trouble. 

And her did not get into any trouble at all. 

So as my prize when Zita came home we went back to the backyard. 

And I ran all over. Ha. 

We had own made soup for our dinner with very fat bread.

Then Zita and I got on the comfy sofa so we could watch the long time ago lady detective.

Craig came in with us too. 

Day Five Hundred and Four

Miss Pancake 

We had even more snow last night. 

But we could not go to our farm because Niamh still has the fast car at the Mahoney’s cottage.

Mister Tyler was cooking breakfast this morning. My goodness. 

It was snowy at the cottage too. Oh dear. 

After our breakfast Zita and I had a very long walk, and then we went into that back yard for some fast running.

And when we got home Craig was still in bed. My goodness.

He was listening to another book all about a very very long long time ago place. 

Then Zita talked to her in far away Dublin parents. They went out for tasty treats today. 

I had a nice relax.

When Craig got up I helped him so he could get my lunch. That is his important job. 

Then Zita and Susan went out for tasty treats too. Ha.

I stayed here to mind Craig. 

And we did not have toasts today because we had delicious bagels from Mister Kettleman.

And we put lots and lots of butter on top. Ha.

I got two very big pieces. Bagels are very crunchy. Crunchy is my favourite. 

Then I went outside and had a little relax in the snow. Ha. 

But when Zita got home I could not help her move all the snow away from in front of Clifford.

So the fast car could have a nice place to have its own relax when Niamh got home. 

Then Zita and I went for our before dinnertime walk all around here.

And we went into our favourite backyard to chase my big blue ball. 

And so I could run very very fast. Ha. I am a faster runner than Zita. Too bad for her. 

When I got home Zita helped me get all the sticky snow off my cold feet. That was nice.

And when I was all tired Niamh came home. Ha. 

But I minded her and Zita when she told us all about the cottage.

And after we had our extra from India food it was time for our detective program.

So I went in the den and warmed up Zita’s own place on the sofa before she got there. Ha. That is a good job for me. 

Day Five Hundred and Three

Miss Pancake 

We went to our farm today to practice my sitting still homework.

And my fast as can be running too.

But we did not stay too long today because it was very cold and my feet got too cold and Zita’s nose was too cold.

So the fast car took us home. And we got toasty warm again.

When Niamh and Mister Tyler had breakfast I helped them.

Then I helped my friend Craig get all dressed so he could have his breakfast coffee with his friends on his computer.

Not the computer he was fixing, it was his flat computer. 

Then Niamh came upstairs all squeaky clean from her bath so it was time for the fast car to take them to the cottage. 

So they put lots of stuff in the fast car. 

Even a tasty birthday care and presents for his another birthday party. 

At the Mahoney’s beautiful cottage.

But they found the wrong bridge and got a bit all lost on the other side of the lake. Oh dear me. 

Zita could see them right on her phone. Oh dear. That was too bad.

Then Zita’s brother called from way far away Spain to talk to her. That was nice.  Today it was hot in that country.

But he has a giant outside bathtub. 

It is so big he and Miss Luna can have nice swims after their all over walks in the very hot. Ha. 

Zita and I went for a walk too. 

But it was not a bit hot here. So we went for a run around in that backyard.

We could not walk all around here because the sidewalks are all full of nasty salts. 

Those salts will make your feet all sore so we stayed in the backyard. 

So I have to have to put my feet in the bathtub when I come home from our walks. Oh well. 

And when we got home Niamh had found the cottage and was having a relax. 

That was a good idea. She has been very very busy.

Then Zita went out to do some errands and Craig and I had our next toasts and I had my own relax. 

We had the extra from India food for our dinner. 

There was even some squishy bread left. Ha. 

And Craig gave me some for my second dinner. 

Then it was time for me to keep Zita all cosy on our sofa when we watched the detective program. 

Maybe we will have some cookies. Ha.

Day Five Hundred and Two

Miss Pancake 

Because there was lots of lovely snow all over everywhere the fast car took Zita and I to our farm this morning.

And I did not have to wear my boots because it was only a snowy day not a too cold day.

After I practiced my homework and my fast running.

And I showed Zita how very far I could jump. Ha.

We had a very good time. 

And then we took some stuff to Mister Tyler’s apartment because Niamh is doing her work from there this morning. 

Because they did not get back downtown from the hockey game until very late.

And our team did not win this time. Oh well. Sometimes they win. 

Craig did not have a sleep in because he had a meeting with his Doctor on his flat computer.

The nice lady Doctor told him that he was nearly perfect and gave him some medicine so he would be perfect. Just like me.

I was a very big help this morning when he was getting dressed. 

So we had two toasts with jam this morning. 

And then I watched Miss Jennifer move the snow away with her throw away the too much snow machine.

And I did not even bark one time. 

When Craig was all finished talking to the nice Doctor I went into our office to be Zita’s very best helper. 

And when it was lunchtime Craig got me my lunch right away. I did not even have to wait a bit. 

That is because I am his very best helper.

Last night I kept his toes all toasty warm until it was time for Zita and I to be very all awake. 

Niamh and Mister Tyler came to our house for dinner. 

Because it is Mister Tyler’s sing happy birthday day. Ha. 

And Zita got lots of very little birthday cakes for our party. 

And when Niamh and Tyler came home they had lots and lots of the from India delicious food.

Even the squishy tasty bread too. 

Because everybody was too busy wrapping secret presents for an own cooked dinner.

And Craig and I got him some Piraytes. 

They were in Craig’s special presents drawer in the bedroom. 

And we sang the happy birthday song to him. 

But my friend Craig is not such a very good singer. 

Maybe that is why we have so many music machines in the house.

So he can hear other people sing instead. Ha. 

I am a very good singer Niamh told me. So it is true. 

Zita and I had a very long before dinner walk. 

Some of the snow was already all gone. Oh well. 

Zita found Tyler a beautiful t-shirt and it had a sword on it. 

That is a good t-shirt. Ha. 

But I got in too much barking trouble, but then the food was here and everybody forgot about my trouble. That was good. 

After everybody was all full up we sang the Happy Birthday song for Tyler. 

And then we had the little birthday cakes. And they were on fire. My goodness. 

And Mister Tyler had a soldiers giant knife to cut them all up.

And Mister Martini’s very very old soldier gun. 

In case some nasty lions want to steal his presents. Ha. 

So when everybody was busy eating I was watching out my watching window. Just in case. 

And Niamh showed him all the pointy swords that live under the bookshelves in the den. 

Even the Scotsman’s sword that is as big as Niamh. 

My friend Emmet has some very pointy things in his bedroom. 

And even a knight’s suit. My goodness me.

But he does not wear it. Because it is a bit too heavy.

Then everybody had more coffee and talked for a very long time. 

Mister Tyler was very happy to get his Pirtaytes. That made me happy. 

Then I went to fast asleep in my comfy chair, because it was past my bedtime. Ha.

And when I woke up we went right to our beds. 

It was a very busy day for me. 

So I was glad to go to fast fast asleep.
