Day Four Hundred and Eighty Seven

Miss Pancake

What I busy morning we had.

Zita said we had to go to our farm because it missed us not being there.

So we went right after our breakfast.

It was not so cold but the wind was very nasty and both Zita and I had very cold noses.

But I had a very lovely run all around.

Then the fast car took us to Tyler’s apartment, so Niamh could drive us home before the fast car took her to her shop.

And yesterday Mister Tyler got a new job too. My goodness me.

And tomorrow my friend Emmet has to tell some professors all about his giant story.

That is the giant story my friend Poppy used to listen to all the time. My goodness me.

When we got home Craig got up early.

But I could not mind him because Zita and I were so very busy at a very important meeting.

And when it was over it was my first lunch time.

Last night we had toasts in bed. Ha.

Because we had our dinner very early and did not want to starve away in the middle of the night.

That was a very good idea. I got some from Craig.

Today the invitations to that wedding came for Niamh.

And they were the ones Niamh made all by herself.

And one side was in Mister Shandi’s own language.

And my friend Niamh did that too. My goodness me.

After my lunch I went back to our office because we were still very very busy.

My friends the badgers told us that today starts spring time in very far away Ireland.

Craig said spring is just very far away here. Oh well. Too bad for us.

Festis and Furrgus

Having just returned from some unexpected tasks in the Sind we were rather desperate to catch up.

So we were on the telephone this morning, talking to Cousin Morag and Lochlainn, checking on the the Tigh na Cailleach.

The weather in Glenfinnan has been robustly terrible for the last several weeks or so and we just want reassurance that the ceremony went off as nature required.

The Blackthorn-Badgers have been the custodians for millennia.

Lord only knows what would come to pass if the Cailleach and the children were not sitting all snugly ensconced in Glen Lyon on Imbloc.

Fortunately it all came to pass without the slightest hitch, so the world can rest easy once again.

As expected there will be a grand cèilidh at Tiroam tonight.

And we have heard that cook has scoured the cook books that Dugal sent over in order to provide a more extensive choice than usual.

Apparently garlic and cumin will be used in some of the recipes.

Good lord we wished we could be there to see the reaction.

Though who would have enough dangerous foolishness to criticize cook or her assistants is unknown to us.

Anyway we have been promised photographs. Or police reports whichever seems most interesting.

Miss Pancake

This afternoon Mister Clifford took Zita to do some important errands so I stayed here to be Craig’s very best nurse.

Because sometimes he gets very tired or sore. But not all the time. That is good.

When she got home we had lots of new groceries for our dinners.

So when Zita was making the dinner I was eating mine. Ha.

And after dinner we watch the very good detective program until everyone was tired so everyone went to bed.
