Day Eight Hundred and Twenty

Miss Pancake

When we got up we were still a bit tired, so after our breakfasts we had a nearly all morning relax.

But then Zita remembered it was the spick and span the house. Oh well.

But we played the catch the noisy machine game. That is a good game.

Craig had a bit of a big sleep in.

Because he was listening to his brand new interesting book.

I forgot about my lunch because I was so busy helping Zita make our house as clean as could be.

Then Craig and I made two peanut butter sandwiches.

One for breakfast and the other one was for lunch. Ha.

Zita went up the street to visit Craig’s mother in her little apartment.

But she did not know who Zita was.

Zita was a bit sad, so then she went to do some Merry Christmas secret shopping.

And when she got home she bought me a present.

And it was not a secret present. It was a just because present.

And it was a full of holes ball.  Ha

Then Niamh and Tyler came here. But just for a little visit.

Because they went to Lee’s house to help Miss Bruna and Mister Lyndon make their Merry Christmas tree all beautiful.

And to have a delicious dinner too.

We make our giant tree beautiful the same day Niamh has her singing Happy Birthday party in our house.

When our friends the Badgers came home early this morning, they had to hold on to each other. or they would fall down.

Zita say they were tripsy.

Because yesterday was Mister Saint Andrew’s day.

So they were out with those Scotsmen soldiers.

Those soldiers have their very own beautiful restaurant right downtown.

But you have to wear your very very best clothes, or you cannot get in.

So Colonel Dugal and Festis and Furrgus had to take their woolly skirts up to the busy street to make them all clean and tidy.

I helped them get their pointy swords as shiny as could be. Ha.

And Zita brushed the Badgers until they were as shiny as could be. My goodness.

And they had to wear all their lovely medals too.

Even the ones from places that are not even places anymore.

And they had Haggises and squished potatoes for dinner and old as can be whiskey from Scotland and strawberries and blueberries pies for their desserts.

Dugal told me that they ate too many pie pieces and that is why they had to hold on to each other when they got home.

Zita did not say anything.

She just got them nasty headaches pills.

This afternoon some of that snow came here.

But it was not too much snow though. Just a bit.

But we already have our do not get stuck tires on all our cars.

Craig and Zita had very tasty pies for their dinner, and I got some on top of my first dinner.

Then Craig and Zita watched that detective program. I had a nice beside Zita nap.

But I woke up when Niamh got home. And it was bedtime too.
