Day Nine Hundred and Forty Four

Miss Pancake

My goodness me.

We had a big surprise when we went out for our good morning walk.

It was so cold Zita had to wear her toasty warm big coat.

I did not have my boots on, and when we came home I was almost all frozen up. That was a surprise for us.

But went to work anyway.

I helped Niamh with her breakfast, and when Craig was all dressed I helped him with his breakfast too.

We had a toasty angry bun. It was the very last one. Oh well.

Then I went back to helping Zita in our office.

Niamh is a bit sad.

Because our friend Miss Erin is going to visit far away Italy.

So they cannot be laughing all the time when they are working together.

But she will be back soon.

Miss Erin and I went on a swimming picnic with Niamh.

And we had tasty treats right in front of the river.

And we went for a very long walk and bought brand new crunchy bread for our house. Ha.

After lunch Craig and Zita talked to a nice lady.

And now Craig’s mother has her very own brand new tree. Right in a forest.

But it is not a full of scary bears forest, it is only for those very big moose, and lovely deers too. Ha.

And we can see it from the fast road.

So we can wave at it when we are in the go fast car.

My friend Zita was making our office all neat and tidy.

Because after a while she is going to all retired. Just like Craig.

But I could not be her very best helper.

Because the floor was just covered in do not stand on papers. Too bad for me.

So I helped Craig with his very fat and crunchy peanut butter sandwich instead. Ha.

After our work Miss Sach came to visit me.

But soon she went downstairs with Niamh. Oh well.

But then it was not so very very cold, so Zita and I went for our before dinnertime walk.

My goodness me, when we got back everybody was all as excited as could be.

Colonel Dugal’s second nephew, Colonel General Alekzandra Bryhada discovered a secret city.

Festis told me right away.

The Badger Brigade were digging tunnels, so those Russians could not just shoot anyone, in far away Ukraine.

Badgers are the very best diggers ever.

And they found beautiful things from a very very very old city.

And not even anyone knew it was there.

But now they do. My goodness. Maybe they will get Digging Medals.

The old Queen gave Craig a medal all of his own. I saw it.

But it was not for digging. It was for something else.

Because Craig is not such a very good digger.

Zita and Niamh like to dig in the garden, but only in the summer. Ha.

We had refrigerator pizza and cheesie toasties for dinner.

Then Craig and Zita and Niamh and I watched our detective program.

And the detective lives right in Scotland.

Maybe the Badgers know him. Maybe.

But before it was over Niamh and I went to find Tarryn. The fast car took us.

When I got home it was past my bedtime. Oh well.
