Day Four Hundred and Twenty Seven

There was only a very little bit of new snow last night. Oh well.

But there was still enough at our farm for me to do my fast running in it. 

Yesterday Zita made a real movie of me doing my very best fast running. 

And today Craig sent it to Emmet and Alice.

So they could see how very fast I am. Ha. 

Because I am very fast. Ha.

They said I was the very fastest dog they had even seen. Ha. That is true.

Craig had a sleep in today so he could change his special socks.

Then Zita was very very busy with a saw in the bathroom. 

She was fixing the toilet so it would not get water all over the floor. 

Yesterday she went to Mister Preston’s giant hardware store to get everything to fix it. 

There is so much snow at Festis and Furrgus’s castle that everybody had to stay inside. 

Because they did not have any do not crash your car snow tires. 

So the cooks made lots and lots and lots of delicious scones. With all whipped cream and jams.

And then everybody sat around the giant fire place and told scary stories from long long ago. 

Then they had bacon and cheese toasties for dinner.

And then everybody had to have lots of tea. 

Except for Cousin Morag, who only drinks Scotch. 

Craig got new socks, but they are the same colour. Oh well. 

Craig had two coffees today and two cinnamon toasts too. I got some very crunchy bits.

Today Zita’s mother was minding Mister Sully at her house. 

I think he was keeping her toasty warm too. Ha.

This afternoon Zita and Susan went to have some coffee and maybe do some secret presents shopping.

A secret present came here yesterday. But I do not know who it is for.

Because it is a secret.

I had two second lunchtimes today.

Because Craig forgot that Zita already gave it to me. Ha. 

I went outside but it was so nasty I just looked all around and came back inside.

Then my friend Niamh got home and I was very happy.

Because it is not a nice night to be outside. It is known. 

Then she went to Lee and Cara’s house to make their Merry Christmas tree as beautiful as can be.

So Craig and Zita had more Tortellinis soup before they watched the detective program and we went to bed.
