Day Four Hundred and Thirty One

Miss Pancake     

It was very cold outside today and it was not even a bit sunny. 

But we went to our farm anyway. 

There was even more snow today. 

And I found a new running around stick under one of my giant trees. Ha.

My ears go all flappy when I am running.

That is how you can know I am a very fast running dog. 

When we got home we had to go to work right away. 

And then when Craig got up I was fast asleep in the living room. I did not even hear him one bit. 

But I heard him getting my first lunch all ready. Ha.

Then I was all awake.

Niamh did not have to go to work today so she and the fast car went shopping for secret Merry Christmas presents. 

After my lunch I went into our office to be a big help to Zita when she was taking to all the people on her computer. 

I was very quiet. 

The Badgers told me that they have nearly finished all their secret presents shopping. 

And they are going to the post office this afternoon to send all the packages to all over the world. 

Because they have lots of friends in lots of places. 

This year they bought bottles and bottles of maple syrup. 

Because in lots of places they only have pretend maple syrup. That is not right. 

Festis told me that you cannot have pancakes with pretend maple syrup because then you will have a sick tummy.

After the post office they are going to walk all around the neighbourhood looking at the beautiful Merry Christmas decorations..

Colonel Dugal asked me what Craig and Zita might want for a secret present, but I did not know.

So now I will have to listen very carefully to find out what they might need. Just like a spy. Ha. 

Zita says that sometimes I am not such a good listener when I am a too much barking dog. Oh well. 

I did not go outside very much today because it was very cold, even if you are very furry like me. 

Craig and Zita had toasts in the middle of the afternoon. I got some too.

Because I waited very politely. And it had jam all over the toast. Ha.

But then it was time to go back to my office to help Zita.

And when we were finished it was just the right time to go for our before dinner walk. 

It is good to have a nice walk before dinner so you can forget all about your work. 

Then all your dinner tastes better. It is known. 

When Niamh got home she had a giant bag full of secret presents. 

Then she had a refrigerator pizza. I got some too.

Craig and Zita went to the den to watch their detective program when I was helping Niamh.

Then I went there too and had my before bedtime nap.
