Day Six Hundred and Fifty Eight

Miss Pancake 

We had a very lazy day. 

Because it is our county’s happy birthday day. My goodness.

We had a little sleep in. 

And then after our breakfasts Zita and I had a together living room relax. 

We looked out the window at the very very beautiful day.

After we were too relaxed, we went for a lovely under the trees stroll. 

We went all the way to Emmet’s long long time ago school. And then we came home.

And when we went in the house Craig was there and he was all awake too. Ha.

Then after a little while it was my lunch time. 

And when I was eating my lunch,  Zita made herself a very tasty lunch and some for Craig too. 

It was those from Italy sausages and cheese right on top of very crunchy crackers. My goodness.

And there were pieces of apples too. 

And I got lots of apple bits and crackers, but no sausages.

Because they were the get very hot inside you sausages. Oh dear. I should not like that. 

Then Zita and I went into the side yard and sat in the very beautiful sunshine. 

Then there were some very noisy aeroplanes right on top of our house. 

And very very noisy helicopters just being noisy for a long time. 

And then some not so very fast, but very noisy old aeroplanes, even Craig’s father’s very big aeroplane were flying near us. 

We did not see it, but they were very noisy. My goodness me. 

All the people outside are wearing red clothes. 

Because that is our country’s best colour. Because of our very beautiful leaves. 

When we went for our walk I had on my harness. Because it is red too. Ha. 

Even the go fast chair is a bit red too. My goodness me. 

Then Zita went to Susan’s to  have some biscuits and coffees. 

When she came back she stayed outside to make our front garden even more beautiful.

I stayed here and Craig and I had some cookies. 

And we listened to a song about being chased by fierce grizzly bears. My goodness. 

We do not have any of those bears around here, we have nice chubby black bears. 

They nearly do not eat anything except their very favourite blueberries. And honey too. 

At our Tara’s wedding they gave everybody delicious from there, little bottles of honey. 

They have Tara and Tyler’s own names on the bottles. And Niamh got us lots. 

Maybe she stole them for the bears. Maybe. 

We had very fat hamburgers for dinner. 

They were from the for the party food. We had extras for just in case. 

So now we have very delicious hamburgers for dinnertimes.

And after our dinner we will lots of time to watch our detective friends on the television.

Yesterday Craig watched a bit of that football game, and his team even won. My goodness.

So he had a very good sleep. So did Zita and me, 

Because nearly everybody was back home. 

And a very nice bus driver let Emmet on his bus to go all the way to the apartment in Cork. 

And that nice driver was not supposed to. But he did anyway. Ha. 

So now Emmet and Doctor Alice can have their together dinner again. That is good.
