Day Three Hundred and Seventy Four

Miss Pancake   

We had a very busy day today so we did not have enough time for a sleep in. 

So after we had our breakfasts the fast car took us to our farm for a run around. And I ran as fast as could be.

Because I have very fast legs. Because they are very long legs. Zita told me. Ha.

But when we got into our car we did not go home.

Because we had to go to Zita’s other office downtown. So we could get some important things.

And I went too to mind her.

And we went into the little up and down room and I was not even sacred. 

And when we got in the office I ran to all the rooms, to make sure everything was safe for Zita. Ha. 

I am very good at that job.

When we got home Craig was all dressed but he had already finished his breakfast and did not need any help. Oh well.

Then Zita took lots and lots of important papers to the ladies at the bank. 

To make sure we are doing everything right. 

I did not go so I did not get one of their giant treats. Oh well. 

So I stayed here with Craig and had my nap.

Running around very fast makes you tired. It is known. 

When Zita got home she brought a very big loaf of bread.

That is good because there was no bread for peanut butter sandwiches and Craig nearly starved all a way. Oh dear. I would not like that. 

Who would help me look out my watching window and who would be my pillow at night. Oh dear me. 

But when we had the bread he made a very tasty peanut butter and honey sandwich. So I helped him. 

They were very tasty sandwiches because he had brand new bread. 

Craig is the very best sandwich maker, because he does not have to cook sandwiches. Ha.

Then Zita had to go to the Mahoney’s cottage because Niamh left all her important stuff there by mistake.

I stayed here to guard Craig. 

Sometimes I had my naps outside in my side yard and sometimes on my own comfy chair.

When I looked out my window I saw that nearly all the water had left my pond. Oh dear.

And all those noisy and smelly geese were going on their vacation. 

That is good. Maybe they will get lost. Maybe.

When Zita got home we went on very nice walk before Zita had to go to her on the computer rascal ladies class. 

So Craig had to make his dinner by himself. Ha. 

And he made us a cheese sandwich. 

But we did not watch the detectives tonight.

Because when Zita’s class was finished it was our bedtime. 

So we went to bed. That was a good idea.
