Day Seven Hundred and Forty Seven

Miss Pancake 

We had even another very beautiful day. 

And it was just like it was summertime again. My goodness me.

Zita talked to her parents on the telephone. 

She said everything is still very all right in far away Dublin. That is good.

I stayed on my comfy chair to mind her.

When she was finished talking, we went to our farm so we could visit all the beautiful sunshine.

The fast car was very happy too. 

When we got home Craig was all dressed. 

And I did not even help him. 

Because I was busy practicing my very fast running at our farm.

When Craig had his very first too many coffees Zita went outside.

So she could talk to Auntie Eileen and sit on our lovely swing at the same time. 

And after a while Mister Tom came with brand new detective programs.

And he had a very nice visit with Zita. I only barked to say hello.

Because I know Mister Tom. Ha.

Then Zita talked to Auntie Eileen some more.

Craig and I had a very special delicious lunch.

We had Zita’s sandwich from her restaurant dinner. It was in a box in the refrigerator.

Because she could not eat it all. And it was a chicken sandwich. 

Chicken is my favourite. 

And I had some. That was a tasty treat.

Then Professor Jill came for a visit and she brought me a box of just for me treats. Ha.

And then Zita and Jill had their coffees in the living room, and I minded them. That is a very good job for me.

They talked for a very long time, so I had a very long sleep. 

There were lots of people outside today.

Because it was a beautiful day and tomorrow is a holiday for everybody. Even dogs. Ha. 

My very far away friends Miss Maisie and Miss Millie sent me a nice letter, from way far away.

They live way up north, nearly the same up north as Niamh’s. My goodness.

They said I had beautiful flappy ears when I am practicing my fast running. Ha. That is true.

Craig and I had toasts when he was watching the football game. 

Zita had a talk to everybody relax day. That was a good idea. 

After dinner Craig found a brand new detective program. 

And it had spies too. My goodness me.

Spies are very exciting. 

Maybe I will just have a nice nap instead.
