Miss Pancake
Everybody had a very busy day this morning.
Zita and I went to our farm right away. Before the rain could make us soggy. Ha.
And I met a very nice dog. And it was Mister Jim.
Mister Jim is much older than I am.
And when we were walking around we met Mister Jim and his friend again. Ha.
And when we got home, cousin Lucy was all dressed and awake.
So we moved everything that was in my side yard, right into the basement.
So there will be room for the too much snow.
We even put our little boat in the basement.
My goodness, I was very very busy helping with everything.
Then some very loud, very fast aeroplanes went right over my house.
Because today is the sad day when we remember all the soldiers.
And some of them never got to come home to be with their families.
So today is the day we remember to thank them.
Lots of people go downtown to see our soldiers play their bagpipes.
But they only play sad music, because it is the sad day.
Our friends the badgers always go.
And they get dressed in their very very best soldiers clothes.
With their best shiny shoes too.
And they have on all the medals that the old Queen gave them.
They did not take their big pointy swords, just the little knives they keep in their woolly scotsmen’s socks.
But Colonel Dugal took his secret in his cane sword, just in case of tigers, or those Russians, he told me.
Craig and Zita could not go, because they had to go to our little drug store, and get their do not get sick and die shots.
Craig got two, but Zita only got one.
Because she is not so old as Craig. Ha.
After they were shot, they went to the big grocery store, and they saw a giant truck all full up with Merry Christmas trees.
My goodness me.
When they got home Craig had a blueberries muffin, so I helped him.
When we were having our muffin, Zita and Lucy were making the extremely delicious chillies. And the lovely from corns muffins.
And we are going to have them for dinner. It is our cowboys dinner. Ha.
I think my big noisy brothers have that all the time. Ha.
Mister Tyler sent me some from Ireland pictures.
Last night they went right up into the air in a giant wheel.
So they could see all of Galway. And not be soggy.
Cousin Emma went with them, so they would not be scared.
Or get lost.
At lunchtime we saw cousin Emma today on Cousin’s Lucy’s phone.
She had an another nasty headache. Too bad for her.
But Niamh and Mister Tyler went on the bus and went all the way to Dublin.
Because they wanted to go to a giant building where they make whiskey and put it in bottles.
So people can take it home with them.
And there were those bottles everywhere. Even hanging from the roof. My goodness me.
And they will let you have some if you are very polite.
So Niamh and Tyler got some.
Because they are always very polite.
Then our cousin Ciara found them, and took them to Auntie Eileen’s house, in the way too small bridge town.
They are going to sleep there tonight.
Because cousin Emma cannot take them out on until very late at night adventures.
Because she had to stay in Galway. Maybe because of the nasty headache.
Tonight we had a very delicious dinner, and I got some of our own made muffins.
Right on top of my second dinner. Ha.
Then Zita and Lucy wrote lots of things on pieces paper. I minded them.
Craig just watched a football game until it was bedtime for everybody time.
