Day Three Hundred and Thirty Eight

Miss Pancake

I got up on the comfy bed this morning. Right between Craig and Zita.

But then Zita got up because our holiday was all over.

So it was a back to work day for us.

So we did not go for a run around in the farm today.

And Zita had to go downtown to her not as nice office.

But the fast car took her because it was a very hot day outside.

Niamh was all awake early too. So we had our together breakfast.

Then we went outside and Niamh sat on our lovely swing and I guarded her until it was time for her to go to her lovely shop.

After the very fast red bicycle took her away it was time for Craig and I to have our toasts.

And today we had round toasts from England and tasty jam from France. Ha.

Craig said we are very continental. Ha.

Then it was time for my morning nap.

We did not open the curtains so much today so the too hot could not get in our house.

I did not have even one sick tummy yesterday, so I think I am all better. That is good.

Furrgus and Festis

Much to our relief Miss Pancake appears to have made a full recovery.

When we looked out the window, she was sitting as pretty as could be on the patio.

She was guarding our Niamh as she talked to her far away friend, while resting in the swing.

Mrs. T had taken the car to her downtown office earlier.

But by the time Miss Niamh peddled off to her shop Mr. T was awake.

So, donning our pith helmets and sunglasses we ventured into the oncoming heat.

Fortunately Little Victories has a variety of refreshing Affogatos this time of year, so we headed there.

I chose a nice raspberry gelato as a base, while the other two opted for two scoops of chocolate ice cream, ignoring the eventual consequences.

The charming young ladies recognized us, even with our sunglasses on.

I think the kilts might have given us away.

Miss Pancake

I had a very nice relax this afternoon.

It is always good to have a relax when you are getting all better.

My friend Emmet is getting nearly ready to finish his giant important story.

He sent me a picture.

But he has to get even more fat books from the library at his old university. My goodness me.

I did not go into my side yard so often today.

Because of the way too hot.

So I had a lovely relax with Craig.

Tonight Niamh and her friends went to Tarryn’s place to paint beautiful pictures.

So it was only Craig and Zita for me to mind tonight.

Zita made very fat bagel sandwiches, with lots of bacon. And Craig had two of them.

And then it was time to watch our new detective program.

Before we went to our comfy bed.
