Day Three Hundred and Thirty Four

Miss Pancake

It was such a beautiful day this morning we went to the farm right away.

I had a lovely run all around. All the machines were still asleep.

Because it was very early.

Then a silly dog growled at Zita, but just like that I was right in front of my Zita, being very fierce, and that silly dog went away.

Zita said I was very brave. That is true.

When we got home Niamh was there too and then Emmet was awake so we were all in my side yard and I guarded them.

Because I am a very fierce minder dog. It is known. Ha.

Craig had his coffee out side with me too.

I was very busy this morning.

Then Niamh and I talked to Tarryn right on her telephone.

So we got in the fast car and brought Tarryn to my house.

So Niamh and Tarryn could bake delicious treats for their trip to the cottage.

When I was with Niamh, Zita went outside to make our beautiful garden all neat and tidy.

So when I got home everyone was very busy.

After their breakfast Emmet and Alice went downstairs to be finished packing their suitcases.

Because today they are going to find that aeroplane that knows how to find Ireland all by itself.

Those are the best aeroplanes. It is known.

Furrgus and Festis

Well it is the long weekend, fortunately we have enough pastries stashed away to see us through holiday closures.

When we slowly opened our eyes we were beckoned by another fantastic day.

It served to compensate for our very late night of combat Monopoly.

So after our morning patrol, we made it to The Sunset Grill for French Toast and extra sausages.

Dugal had two side orders of onion rings. Which all in all seemed a bit much.

It looks as if the good weather at Acharacle might continue for the weekend. That will be a pleasant surprise I must say.

We have had no response from Lochlainn on our suggestions about renovating the castle sooner rather than later.

We suspect the current favourable conditions have tempered our concerns.

Dugal suggested we contact his mother’s second cousin, who has been renovating her Broch, for as long as anyone can remember.

Granted it was actually a pile of stones before she started the project.

But she must surely have a list of reputable companies. Considering what it now has become.

While perhaps not quite historic, it does appear to be weather tight. Which mostly certainly distinguishes it from Tiroam.

As she is apparently in Dubrovnik, renovating some sort of tower, Dugal will send her lawyers a telegram.

Miss Pancake

Niamh and Tarryn were making lots of special bread and Alice helped them too.

When Zita was all finished with the cut your toes off machine she went into the side yard with Niamh and Tarryn.

They had to wait for those breads to get big before they cooked them.

So I guarded everyone while they waited. Ha.

But when it was time for Zita to drive Emmet and Alice to our Aeroport we had to take pictures.

So everybody would know that we were all neat and tidy when we had visitors.

But Emmet said that he would come home for the Merry Christmas time.

And have lots of delicious dinners with us. That is a good idea.

Zita went back outside to fix the garden all up and beautiful. And to talk to Professor Jill.

I minded Craig and had my afternoon nap.

Before my dinner Zita and I went for a practice walk.

Because there is no school for us this week. Because it is a holiday for everybody and me too.

But we have to practice a lot or we might forget.

It was only Craig and Zita at the dining room table tonight.

Because Emmet and Alice were in Toronto watching for their next aeroplane.

And Niamh was going to Jamie’s cottage with Tarryn.

So it was a quiet night for me.

That is good because I have been very very busy. It is known.
