Day Six Hundred and Forty Five

Miss Pancake 

We went on our good morning to everything walk early this morning.

Before the way too hot.

So it was not so very hot when we went outside and we went up past the very big church.

But we only went where the beautiful trees made comfy shade. Good for us.

When we got home our house was not even a bit too hot.

Because last night we put the cooler house machine on. Ha.

Then we all went to our important work. 

I had a nice relax on the den sofa. That is a very comfy sofa.

When Craig had his first coffee I went in the living room to keep him company.

But then Miss Dina came here to work with Niamh, but as soon as she opened the door she started to cry.

Because Mister Jonah’s  dog went to heaven this morning. 

Then everybody here was very sad.

So I jumped right up on them and gave them all kisses until they stopped crying. 

But everyone was still very sad. 

I do not like it when my family is sad.

Because it is my special job to keep my family as happy as can be. My goodness.

I used to see that dog all the time. It went to our park to look at the ducks too. Oh dear.

Then Niamh and Miss Dina went downstairs to work.

And Craig made a toast with lots of jam for us and another one for Zita too. 

Toasts are good for you if you are sad. It is known. 

Then Kathy came here and she still has her broken arm. My goodness me.

And she took the very beautiful bag full of special presents for Miss Tara. 

Because she and Richard are going there today. To see Tara.

Because this week she is getting the important paper from her university.

And next week she is going to get married to Mister Taylor. My goodness.

So we sent lots of presents. Ha. 

But I cannot show everybody, because Tara sometimes reads my stories.

And then she would see the secret presents. 

Everybody is going to that wedding except for Craig. And me.

Because I have to mind Craig. 

Zita said I could not go outside this afternoon.

Because I would just be a fury black puddle. Oh my goodness me. I would not like that. 

Mister Paul came over because his bicycle was all empty, so he had to borrow our lots of air machine. 

So he stayed inside and had a beer. Because of the too hot outside. 

Then the fast car too Zita and Niamh to a special dentist to look at her smart teeth. 

The fast car has its very own cool everything machine, so they did not melt. 

Miss Dina stayed in the very cool basement to do her work.

Because her little apartment does not have any cool everything machines. 

I stayed here with Craig and helped him make a very delicious peanut butter and jams sandwich. 

Then when it was after dinnertime, Zita and I drove Niamh and Dina downtown to find Mister Tyler.

And then we went back home to watch a new detective program. 

Craig was still there. He waited for us.
