Day Six Hundred and Thirty Two

Miss Pancake

We had a very slow day because it was so hot outside.

So Zita and I went for an early in the morning walk. Before the hot found us outside.

We met a very nice lady who lives right beside where my family used to live.

And Zita told her all about the house. And all about Gramma Betty. 

Because it used to be her house. 

That lady was very very interested and I was a very good listener too. Ha. 

Every year we always have Gramma Betty’s especially delicious turkey. 

She does not mind. Poppy told me. 

And in front of the next house there was a very big bowl with water for hot dogs. 

And it had lots and lots of ice cubes in the water. So I had a lovely drink. 

My friend Craig was up even before I went on our walk. I do not know why. Oh well. 

When we got home everybody had toasts with their coffees. 

I do not know why people have hot coffees in the too hot.

When I am too hot Zita gives me tasty crunchy ice cubes. 

Sometimes people are not so smart as me. 

And then I had my good morning nap.

On the floor, right beside where the cool air comes from.

But Zita went outside to make the garden beautiful. Even in the too hot.

And Miss Dina came here to work with Niamh.

Because her little apartment does not have a cooler machine, so her apartment is too too hot.

So she came here.

Then Zita came in, and she was nearly cooked, so she had a nice cool water shower. 

Then she sat in the living room with Craig and I minded them. 

Then she went to visit Mister IKEA’s store, to get a mirror, so Craig can be neat and tidy. That is a good idea,

When she got home she brought a box of Craig’s very favourite for treats cookies. My goodness.

Then it was my dinner time and Craig and Zita had a do not cook dinner.

Because of the too hot.

But Niamh is going to play an outside run and catch things game. And Mister Tyler is playing and Mister Jamie too.

They are going to be all smelly. Oh dear.

We watched our lady detective after dinner.
