Day Six Hundred and Forty Three

Miss Pancake 

When I was all awake it was a very nice day. 

It was not so very sunny so it was just right for a long walk to see everybody in my neighbourhood. 

When it is not so hot my feet do not get even a little bit sore. 

Today is the special day for fathers all over. My goodness. 

I did not ever see my father, because he lived on a great big ranch, far away. 

He and his brothers minded all the cows who lived at that ranch. 

Because of the bears and this pretend lions. My goodness.

So now Craig is my father. 

Because I see him every day. And we always have our toasts together. 

And he is not even a bit scared of the very loud thunder. So I am not either. 

That is how you know your father, when they make you brave when you do not know it. 

So Zita and I got him his very favourite peanut butter candy. Ha. 

He was very excited, and he had some with his first coffee. Ha.

Then Zita had to go on a secret errand for Niamh. I did not know what it was.

Because it was a secret. 

But when Niamh and Tyler came here I found out what the secret was. Ha.

And it was a box full of Miss Suzy’s doughnuts. And they were for our lunch. 

And we even had two cheeses too, and crunchy crackers too. My goodness me. 

And Niamh got Craig a brand new beautiful plant. And it has a name. It was right in its lovely pot.

It is Miss Portulacaria. My goodness.

I do not like that name so much. I like nice names like Mister Bruce. 

No one will remember that name. Too bad for it. 

And Niamh made a very beautiful poem for just Craig. 

Because he is her very own father. 

But then Niamh and Tyler had to go to his aunt’s house so the fast car took them there. 

And they were not late. Because it had it fast for summer tires on. Ha. 

We only had a little dinner because of the doughnuts.

Then we watched the very good detective program and Craig and Zita had another doughnut.

And I had a very nice relax right beside Zita until our bedtime. 

And we have very comfy beds. It is known.
