Day Thirty One

Furrgus

We started off the day in beautiful sunshine.

)

Which is always a good way to start any day.

Festis and I were about to make our morning rounds when Zita and Niamh appeared.

Zita was driving Niamh to her before work university class and then she continued off to do her errands.

So after they left we toured the property before heading to the Sunset Grill for some bacon omelettes.

And at a good price I must say.

When we returned both Craig and Uncle were quite awake and immersed in their morning perusal of the night’s events.

Festis and I find it best to ignore the news until you have had time to digest your breakfast.

Zita dropped in for a few moments before going to the grocery store to make sure there is enough food stashed away.

She will be off to Ireland in a few days and will not return for a week.

So she had to ensure that even a lack of skill and imagination would be no impediment to Craig’s heathy eating.

Good luck with that I might venture to say.

It was still so beautiful outside that when Zita returned that she and Craig went on their own tour of the neighbourhood.

And to test out the adjustments to the wheelchair’s back.

That back is chock a bloc full of straps.

So I guess it is by guess and by gosh. Which does not sound very scientific to me.

Contrary to the fact that today is Zita’s day off she spent a considerable amount of time trying fix people’s problems.

Then it was time for the house beautiful routine so Festis and I made a quick exit and made our dinnertime reconnaissance a bit early.

Craig stayed in the den with his foot elevated. He was actually following his doctor’s advice. It must have been a surfeit of fresh air.

Then Zita took the car off to attend to more errands and then to retrieve Niamh from her work at The Three Trees.

Dugal’s Scotch broker messaged him with news of the discovery of a 60 year old cask in Jura.

He is looking at selling some bitcoin. We know better than to comment.

We are listening to the podcast that our Emmet did the research for.

A word to the wise, it is a bit scary, so have a nice plate of biscuits at hand before you listen.

After dinner Niamh went to study with Lily at her new apartment.

Craig and Zita watched even more of their Australian detective program.

We turned in early for a change.

Tomorrow is another day.
