Day Fifteen

Festis

It was raining when we got up so by consensus we canceled our morning patrol.

Zita was soon awake as was Niamh.

Zita had an appointment in her downtown office and Niamh had her regular early morning class.

So the Buick and delivered them to their respective destinations completely dry.

Craig did not get up very early today.

He was very tired because of his vaccination yesterday I guess.

But he had his coffee and a butter tart before Pam came to paint the hall and doors again.

Since we do not regularly frequent the back hall we just continued our morning activities.

Punctuated by a nap or two.

Rainy days lend themselves to naps I find.

Zita came back home right after her meeting.

There is no one here to interrupt her when she has a lot of work to do before she goes to Newfoundland.

All in all we had a relaxing day.

Craig stayed in the den, Zita was busy in her office and Miss Pam went about the painting in the hall.

So the three of us had the living room all to ourselves.

But we had really nothing planned so it was the New Yorker and the Times crossword for the rest of the dringey day.

Which was fine by us.

Because Niamh had her dinner at the university Craig and Zita had a small.

Craig was still under the weather.

Because of his vaccination

So they only watched a little bit of their detective program this evening.

Because Craig was too tied to watch so they went to bed.

I wrote on the blackboard that we were nearly out of Cheerios.
