Furrgus
Dentists are another thing we Blackthorn-Badgers do not have to worry about.
Miss Niamh was off to work also. But not right away.
So she and I had a little chat over our tea.
But Mister T had another sleep in as he has not yet fully recovered from his vaccination.
And for his lunch he only had one piece of toast and without jam. Oh dear.
Mrs.T went off to her downtown office to get some bags to give away when she goes to Newfoundland tomorrow.
As we all ken you are always welcome when you bring presents.
Even more packages came for Miss Niamh. They are for her hallowe’en costume she says.
Yesterday a shield arrived for her. Not a real shield mind you. A plastic one.
Now Dugal offered to lend her one of our targes that are stored in the basement but she said they were too heavy.
So it is a good thing she is going to that exercise class. Build up her strength.
That was where she was last night. She said she had a good time.
Everybody gets a tall poll and the have to climb up and down so that they will be fit.
This afternoon Zita had to pack her suitcase case as she is leaving at the crack of dawn tomorrow.
Which presents a tricky problem.
With Miss Poppy no long with the family, who is in charge when Zita is away.
Not us for certain. Too much responsibility I do say.
Much to everyone pleasant surprise Mister T’s hockey team won last night.
Dugal said he would have placed a bet on it but he is waiting for his pension cheque.
Those three barrels of Scotch have sorely depleted his current account.
Serves him right if you ask me.
It will last for decades now that he does not have Miss Poppy to share in the middle of the night tastings.
Though it is not widely known, with noses like that is anyone surprised that dogs appreciate a nice peaty Isley from time to time.
And as the wee island is no so far from Dugal’s family’s seat at Skipness, he gets the neighbourhood discount you see.
Mrs. T went shopping for such food as will keep Mister T alive without too much effort.
You can see why our preference is for porridge.
Master Emmet was talking to Mister T about the appalling actions in the English House of Commons today.
Fortunately the Blackthorn-Badgers sit in the Lords. As they have since that damned Act of Union.
But I must say their restaurant serves a quite fine beef Wellington and at a reasonable price.
But their wine list is questionable shall we say.
And it looks like they will need yet another PM. Might as well be French if you ask me.
It was another rather miserable day so Miss Niamh was chauffeured home this evening.
Just in time for the family dinner.
As Mrs. T has yet another business meeting tonight on her computer, Miss Tarryn sat in for her.
When Mrs. T was finished her meeting it was time for her and Mister T to go to bed.
We agreed.
