Furrgus
As it was a bit frosty outside.
But it snowed in Dublin last night. My goodness me.
Mrs. T parent’s back yard was nearly covered. And there is ice on the River Lee in Cork.
Festis and I must call Cousin Morag to see about the situation in Acharacle.
As the weather program on Dugal’s phone says it will snow tonight.
And the roof on the west tower is not even close to being completed.
I do hope they have enough firewood to keep the pipes from freezing this time.
We arrived at Little Victories just in time for the arrival of fresh raisin buns and cookies.
They were molasses cookies at that. So we rather took our time today.
Mrs. T had the day off because of all the time she spent at work for the Gala.
So she drove Miss Niamh to her university in time for the early class then she went to the pictures store.
So we could get more of our very lovely pictures framed.
Fortunately we found surplus frames in the basement and saved a small fortune.
Our Emmet’s paper is now available for the whole world to read.
So I fully expect Hollywood to be contacting them before the new year begins.
My goodness another thing to mention to Cousin Morag.
Our brand new Christmas tree is resting in the side yard until we can get the living room ready for it’s arrival.
It arrived with Niamh and Miss Tarryn last night just as Mrs. T was making late evening toast.
But it was decided that it should have time to relax before starting its Christmas duties.
This afternoon after Mr. and Mrs. T went on an abbreviated stroll, because of the declining temperature, Mrs. T went to get Miss Niamh.
So she can have the car this evening.
Because she is going to a Christmas dinner party at Miss Emily’s tonight.
It will not require formal attire, just a quick scrub up and most certainly party socks.
And a comfy cozy sweater from her Nana.
Because most all the time student’s houses are not as warm as one might wish.
And it is a do it yourself kind of dinner party.
I know this because Niamh and Tarryn are bringing a giant oatmeal cookie, covered in chocolate, with fudge and more oatmeal on top.
Wouldn’t that make the squadies lives a dream come true.
That and a nice cup of tea. Get them through anything.
So dessert well packed away in the car they left for the dinner party.
Leaving only the senior Taylors and us here at dinnertime.
I expect it to be an early dinner and then we can continue the poker game.
I am up by three after eight mints. Ha.
