Day One Hundred and Eighty

It was not such a lovely day today.

When I got Zita all awake it was just a lot of cold rain everywhere.

And I got a bit very soggy.

So we did not go for our walk this morning.

Then Zita had her coffee and I had my breakfast.

We did not wait for Niamh this morning because she was not here. Too bad for her.

When Craig got up we sat in front of the watching window and Craig and Zita had their coffees.

But we did not have any more of Zita’s favourite coffee.

So Craig asked the man to bring us some tomorrow. My goodness.

Then it was time for Craig and I to talk to his friends on the computer.

I said hello to everybody but then I fell fast asleep on the comfy sofa.

And Zita talked to her mother and father. In far away Ireland. And she had another coffee too.

When Craig was finished talking to everybody I told him that it was time for my lunch. In case he forgot.

Sometimes people forget things.

Even very important things like their best friend’s lunchtime.

But when I was finished Zita said because we did not go for a good morning walk we should go to the giant farm.

And we did. Ha. That was a very good idea.

That is where Zita and I practice our homework from my school.

So I will be the very best student. Ha. Good for us.

Miss Poppy did not like going to school.

Because it was a different school and her teachers were not so good as mine. Oh dear.

Festis and Furrgus

Well it was a depressingly awful day outside this morning.

Mrs. T and Miss P were up early and when looking out the window all of us decided to forgo any morning excursions.

We went back to sleep.

We were up until all hours last night, as Casablanca was available on Dugal’s telephone.

One can never miss a chance to watch Casablanca with friends.

And thanks to the time difference Lochlainn was able to join us while he had his porridge.

Needless to say our nap was a needed relief.

When lunchtime appeared we roused ourselves and after a quick look around we took our life in our hand a went up to Bank street. On a Saturday.

We went to Craft Beer to take advantage of their Saturday afternoon Nachos special. With the delicious dips.

Since they are not so forbiddingly large we simply had a platter each.

A couple of local ciders capped off lunch and we went home in the newly arrived sunshine.

Craig had just finished making his peanut butter sandwich when Mrs. T and Miss P returned home.

But Zita left him in Miss P’s capable hands when she went to stock up on groceries.

A task which always gets our full approval.

Miss Pancake

Zita and I stayed for a very long time at my farm.

Because this afternoon it was warm and the sun had come back to visit us. Ha.

But there were lots of people there today so we went way over to the barns. There were hardly any people there.

There were some dogs there but I only talked to one.

But only for a little bit because Zita and I had to practice my homework. Ha.

When we got home I minded Craig in the living room, when Zita whent to do her shopping and some errands too.

My chair is the very best chair for watching out my window.

Because if I get tired of watching I can have a nap and not even have to move at all. Ha.

And we had pizza bagels for dinner. And Zita made them by herself. Ha.

Then we watched the new detective program. A man cannot remember who he is. And there are kangaroos too.

Ha. That is a good program.

Then Craig had ice cream and I licked the bowl as clean as could be.

And then it was time for bed.
