Day One Hundred and Ninety Six

It was Monday today.

So we had to go to work.

When I looked out my window it was just a rainy day. Oh well.

After everybody had their breakfasts we drove Niamh to her university.

So she could finish writing her another story. My goodness me.

When we got home zita went into our office and I went too.

So I could keep her feet cosy warm. Because it is not so warm today. Oh well.

When Craig got up he made his coffee but he did not make his toast until his next coffee.

So I just minded Zita until I heard the toasting machine. Then I went to help him with his breakfast.

We had the other kind of round toasts today. But we still put lots of jam on them.

I stayed in the living room to keep him company until it was everybody’s lunchtime.

I did not go outside so much this morning because of the rain.

But Zita says the flowers need lots of rain so they can be as beautiful as could be. And our trees too.

When I had my lunch Zita went for a do not think about work walk. Even in the rain. Oh my.

Craig was reading a story for Emmet and Dugal said there was nothing about porridge in the story.

That is silly.

Only Craig and the badgers like the porridge. Too bad for them.

Festis and Furrgus

Well it appears as if it is an April showers brings May flowers sort of day.

So we downed our Mackintoshes and toured the block before arriving at Little Victories.

They offered us their condolences for the debacle at Culloden, for which we were grateful.

Nearly as grateful as we were for the cappuccino and the chocolate donuts .

We received a telegram from Lochlainn confirming all had gone exceedingly well at the sunrise ceremony.

The flowers placed, toasts drunk and the remains of the bottle poured on the stone.

And all had returned in time for the traditional community feast at the castle.

Well that was a bit of a relief.

We did not tell him about our mishap with with the Krug, lest it get back to Cousin Morag.

Our reputation has been on shakey ground since Hogmanay in ‘88.

On our return Craig was reviewing a submission from young Emmet. We unlike Dugal offered no comments.

Miss Pancake

Craig got another of his extra music machines out from our office.

Because one piece in the living room is not always working very well. So he will change it.

And then maybe everything will work again. Maybe.

This afternoon I minded my cow in my watching chair.

And a box came to our house. And it was a brand new telephone for Craig.

Because his old phone was Niamh’s old old telephone and it would not stay on even for a little time.

So now he can talk to everyone again.

But Craig does not talk to so many people.

Niamh talks to everyone all the time.

I do not have a telephone.

Because dogs do not have pockets for a telephone. Oh well. Too bad for us.

After dinnertime Zita went to her lots of exercises class. I did not go.

Because I got all my exercises at our farm because Zita and I went as soon as were was finished our too much work. Ha.

And when we got there the big gate was all open.

So we went in. But just a little way.

So we would not get in trouble.

It is a very big farm. My goodness me.

When we got home we all had our dinner.

But Craig’s telephone was still learning who it was.

It takes telephones a long time to learn how to be your telephone. Oh well.

Then when Zita got home everybody was tired.

So we went to bed a little bit early tonight.
