Day One Hundred and Forty Three

Miss Pancake

We got up early today.

Craig too. My goodness.

Then Niamh and I took Zita to her other office. The go to in the car office.

Then when we got home it was time for Niamh to do her important errands.

So then it was just a Pancake and Craig day.

There was more snow outside this morning. But not so much as the radio said. That was good.

We have too much snow.

So after Craig had his next coffee I had my good morning nap.

Good for us.

Furrgus is a bit under the weather today.

He has a desperate headache after sliding headfirst into the pond last night.

While tobogganing, without a toboggan.

So Uncle accompanied me on morning patrol and then we retired to the Wild Oat for breakfast.

Avoiding the garbage trucks along our route.

We then stopped off at the chemist’s for some restorative headache powders.

And then to Ichiban for a brace of croissants for my brother.

We did not tell Mrs T, in case she insisted he go for a concussion check.

A good bit of champagne in a cold glass of orange juice will put him to rights.

I did not have to remind Craig when it was my lunchtime.

Because I was fast asleep. Ha.

But I woke up when he said lunchtime. Ha.

And after lunch I had a lovely nap.

And I had a bit of it on the very comfy white chair. When Craig was using the computer.

But then I had to get off. Oh well.

My own bed is comfy too.

But it is more fun to be on the chairs.

Yesterday I got on all three of the living room chairs so I won the do not get on the chairs game, ha.

That is an easy game to win.

Leaving Furrgus at home recovering, we slipped on our snowshoes and went up to the Wild Oat for a large hot chocolate.

Or two, as we watched the world go by. It was an enjoyable way to pass a bit of time.

And it allowed Furrgus to sleep without feeling he has to join in the conversation lest he appear disinterested.

Ahh well.

On a sad note, Lochlainn notified us that the oldest of the MacDhòmhnaill boys is listed as missing in action in Ukraine.

Now his great grandfather was with the old Laird on the North West Frontier. He was the RSM as I recall.

We have contacted the lawyers to ensure no extra hardship burdens his family.

We completely trust Cousin Morag’s judgment on how to next proceed.

Miss Pancake

I did not have such a long relax this afternoon.

Because of all the very loud snow plowing machines on my street.

But Craig and I watched them. When I was not asleep.

My friend Zita came home early and I was very happy.

But she had more work to do in our own office. So I minded her right there.

Then we went for a before dinnertime walk to Lee and Cara’s snow mountains. Ha. That is a good place to go.

And I did not bonk my head like Mister Furrgus did. Too bad for him.

Now he has to go to bed early tonight.

Zita told him so. Oh dear me.

When Niamh came home she brought pizzas with her. For dinner. And there was one each. My goodness.

From the very famous cheesie pizza store.

So my family had pizzas for their dinner and I had my special food for growing fast dogs. Ha.
