Because of this all of us went on patrol and then having some time on our hands, and not eaten yet, the Sunset Grill beckoned.
On returning home we found the entire house awake and dressed.
Because today Miss Pancake went for her very first checkup with Doctor Smith.
Doctor Smith was Miss Poppy’s very first doctor.
As it was her very first visit both Zita and Niamh accompanied her.
The new doctor’s office is not as close as the old one.
So it was a bit of a long drive for the three of them.
And they have to go back in a few weeks so Miss Pancake can get some vaccinations. My goodness me.
They were making a movie in our own park. All day.
But they did not come and enquire about our availability.
Well they certainly missed a stellar opportunity, if I do say myself.
When everyone got back from Doctor Smith, Niamh went to her university right away.
Because she had lots of writing to do.
But just like that she was back.
Because she forgot her identification card and could not get into the student pub without it.
My goodness, a near disaster.
And Zita went outside to the other side of the house. To move the snow away from the walls.
Because it is melting quickly today.
Craig’s friend Mister Kirk is still in Rome and is apparently testing every restaurant in the city.
Especially the vendors of home made ice creams.
My goodness, what a selection to choose from.
We, having glanced at the pictures, decided that it was warm enough outside to make a trip to Heaven’s Creamy .
And not be seen as foolhardy.
So we did.
And we all ordered the new Jamaican coffee ice cream.
When we got home Zita and Pancake were in the midst of baking a chocolate cake. Well that was a fine idea.
Except that we should have bought extra ice cream as a topping.
This afternoon Zita and Miss P practiced walking on her leash without pulling.
And they did it inside. So they would not get cold feet. Now I would never have thought of that.
Niamh is going to her hippity hop dance class tonight.
It was so nice Zita actually could cook the sausages for dinner on the outside Barbecue.
Miss Dog was a big help I heard.
As Niamh will not be eating until late we will not claim the use of the dining room table tonight.
And since we have not yet agreed of a book for our book club, perhaps it is just as well.
