By the time we got home from morning patrol Miss Niamh had already left for school.
But Mrs. T was up and had placed anti-Pancake barriers on all the furniture.
It appears as if the war for the control of the comfy chairs has escalated.
We made no comment.
We were offered a bit of ice cream cake for breakfast as I bribe I suspect.
But even as we finished Miss Niamh arrived home so Mrs. T and Miss P could drive her to her work.
But they had a bit of an adventure when they got there.
As soon as Our Niamh walked in a lady had a seizure and collapsed. Oh my goodness me.
So Mrs. T and Miss Pancake stayed there until an ambulance came to help the lady.
My goodness what a beginning of a day.
Craig was just finishing his second coffee when they returned.
So we decided that as it was almost lunchtime and as it looked like rain was coming we moved our afternoon patrol and set off.
Miss Pancake
I had a very good morning today. I did not even wake up one time last night.
Zita had a squeaky clean shower this morning and I helped.
And my head got washed too. Ha. That was fun.
Then Zita and I played the get off the chairs game until Craig was all awake.
Our nice postman brought Craig a brand new book. It is a detective book.
And Zita talked to her mother and her father. Both of them. Ha.
They are in Ireland. Just like Emmet. Zita used to live there.
But not Craig. He just visited.
Then Niamh came back home because it was time for Zita and I to drive her to work.
But we stayed there for a long time.
Because when Niamh went in there was a sick lady right in the store. And she fell down onto the floor.
So we stayed there in case they needed my help.
But a loud ambulance came, so we went home. Good for us.
When we got home I minded Craig.
Because Zita had errands to do by herself.
But after she left there was something scary outside. And I growled at it.
I did not know what it was so I barked it away.
But Craig could not even see it at all. Even when he looked and looked. Oh my goodness.
That is why people need minder dogs to guard their families.
Because they cannot see things so very well I think.
When Zita got home we went on our just around here walk. And I got liver treats.
Because I was a very good listener today. Ha. Good for us.
Then I helped Zita chop up the too slippery ice in the side yard. That is an important job too.
But then she had to do more chopping in the driveway.
And I could not help. So I had to watch.
I did not like that at all. And I told everybody so. Ha. Good for me.
Festis and Furrgus
Have proven to ourselves that all was safe and sound we all went to Dugal’s favourite lunch venue, Ramen Isshin.
Nothing sticks to your ribs like their pork ramen, well except for porridge obviously.
We managed to get home before the rain arrived.
So we were just in time for our afternoon naps. Thank goodness.
Miss Pancake
When Zita came inside I was so tired from watching her that I went right asleep. Beside her.
I did not have to mind Craig because he was just reading his new book in the den. That is not so dangerous.
I was still all asleep when Zita talked to her own far away sister.
Then Craig washed his feet in the special machine.
Then I was awake so I helped too.
And after a while Zita and I got Niamh and Tarryn. Tonight is their hopping all around dance class.
When we got home Miss Emily was here to visit me.
Then it was dinnertime for everybody. Me too.
After dinner I helped Craig and Zita watch the detective program.
After dinner I helped Craig and Zita watch the detective program.
And I kept Zita as warm was could be. On the comfy sofa. Ha.
