Day One Hundred and Thirty Seven

Miss Pancake

It snowed again last night.

So this morning my side yard was full of snow for me to play in.

But all the snow got caught all over my feet. Even between my own toes.

It is too hard to run when you have snow in your toes.

So I had to come in and melt. Oh dear.

Then Niamh was all dressed. But she had to clean off the car before she could go to her university.

Last night when Niamh came home she brought Tarryn and Sach home with her. So they could see me.

They went to a movie all about a dancer. My goodness.

Miss Sach always picks me up and puts me on her shoulder when she visits me. She is much taller than Niamh.

Then they had to go out again.

Because they did not have their dinner. They only had popcorns. And it was late too. My goodness.

When Craig was getting into bed Zita and I practiced walking on our leash. And I got treats. Ha.

This morning I had to lay in from of the bedroom door until Craig got up. My goodness.

And when he was awake as could be he made Zita her special cappuccino coffee with lots of bubbly milk on top.

When Craig had his coffees he helped me look out the window.

Then I went in the office to mind Zita while she talked to lots of people on her computer.

I had a nap too. Under our desk.

That desk goes up and down. All by itself. I do not know why. Oh well.

Furrgus and Festis

Upon looking out the windows this morning we learned that the evening snow had not stopped.

Well that was annoying.

Hoping for a let up we postponed morning patrol and went back to sleep.

But when the morning bustling awakened us it was still snowing.

But we went out anyway.

We had run low on cinnamon buns so breakfast was a bit sparse.

So we set off for Whole Foods on Bank Street, carefully avoiding the snow plowing machines.

Uncle Dugal loves using their escalator. You would think he got royalties with every use.

Anyway, not only did they have cinnamon buns, there were trays of fresh blueberry danishes.

So we replenished our stores and had a quiet breakfast in the corner overlooking the traffic jams on Bank Street.

Which, if I do say myself is moderately entertaining, if you are inside with a handful of hot coffee and a nice selection of pastries.

Then we went home by a circuitous route, to avoid those snowploughs.

It was still snowing by the time we got home, so after a brisk rundown to divest ourselves of snow. It was time for lunch.

We finished the remainder of the ice cream cake. Much to Zita’s relief.

Miss Pancake

After I had my lunch I helped Craig with his lunch too.

He had a peanut butter and too much jam sandwich. Ha.

Then Zita went outside to the side yard and we moved lots of snow. With the big just for snow shovel.

And had had my own squid toy to catch. We had a very good time.

But we were both all covered in snow when we were all finished. Too bad for us.

Then we had to go back to work.Too bad for us.

But then Craig’s sister came for a nice visit.

And she brought me a present from cousin Christina. Oh my goodness.

And it is a rope that squeaks. Ha.

That was a very good present.

But after she left my friend Zita’s telephone just went green.

And could not remember that it was a telephone. Oh goodness gracious.

Craig could not fix it either. Oh dear.

So Zita and I went for a very little walk to Lee and Cara’s backyard.

So we could play on the giant snow hills. That was a good idea.

Because we were all finished our own work. For the whole day. Ha. Good for us.

We had pastas for dinner. Then we watched a lady detective.

And she is from Italy. Like Zita’s fluffy coffees.
