Festis
We were nearly finished our morning patrol as Niamh drove by.
She shouted out her good mornings as she flew by.
Zita walked to her downtown office just as we were leaving several hours earlier.
So upon our return we had our second breakfast with Emmet.
Then just before he left to continue his Ottawa errands Craig was awake.
He had a croissant with his coffee, and we went up to the Sunrise for a nourishing brunch.
Omelettes with bacon and cheese are our current favourites.
It was still unusually warm here, so it was simply a bracing walk to Landsdowne.
Then Emmet had a visit with his old friend Rachel. She is a doctor too.
But she is not a surgeon like Alice. She is a look at your x-rays and tell you what is wrong doctor.
Then Emmet went to the drugstore on Bank Street to get his flu shot before he goes back to Ireland.
Thanks to Christmas when Zita arrived home she was greeted by the small mountain of recyclable boxes.
Fortunately tomorrow is the day they collect such things.
So she placed them all at the end of the driveway for tomorrow.
Soon after Niamh got home and she brought Tarryn.
They had a flood at the The Three Trees and things got soaked. It was a catastrophe Niamh said.
We immediately offered our assistance but apparently things are now under control.
Zita made a feast for dinner.
She could fire up the barbecue as it was still above zero.
So she cooked both hamburgers and the especially tasty sausages.
In an attempt to get as much protein into Emmet as she can
Before he returns to Cork and his pasta and cheese regimen.
After dinner Emmet went downstairs to relax.
As Doctor Alice said that after the vaccination drinking tubs of water is necessary to keep from feeling ill.
Craig and Zita went to watch their detective program.
