Day One Hundred and Fifty Six

Miss Pancake

I was very busy today. Again.

After I got up I went into my side yard to smell the air so I could check everything out.

Then we had our breakfast before Zita talked to her parents in Dublin, in Ireland.

I minded Niamh when Zita was talking to them.

Then I minded Zita and Niamh. Right in the living room.

Then Craig was all awake too, but Zita and I had to take Niamh her work.

So I did not get to mind him so much.

And we did not come right home.

Because we went to the giant farm and we practiced nice walking all over.

It was not even too cold today.

Just a bit very windy.

So we did not have to come home when we were cold.

Because we were not cold.

But when we got home I had to go right into the bathtub. Because I was way too dirty. Oh well.

But then I was all clean again.

But the bathtub was very dirty. Oh well.

Furrgus and Festis

Not only is it snowing in Acharacle, it is colder than here. Good grief.

Now apparently Cousin Morag and the beasts are in Dunedin. She is going to engage some people to do polls.

To judge the possibility of her support in the leadership boondoggle.

Good luck to her I say.

Though I would have loved to have seen her floating down Princess Street, with that gaggle of deerhounds sashaying behind.

I must check the BBC late news tonight.

Lochlainn says the castle is doing fine and they are nearly ready to test the geothermal system.

In the meantime all the fireplaces are roaring.

Cook and her assistants are preparing for a possible onslaught in case the power fails yet again and the hotel and pub close.

If Morag get elected the least she can do is fixing the electrics for the county.

It is a shambles at the moment.

If the Trust was not making a fortune renting portable generators to weekenders we would be quite put out.

Dugal accompanied us on this morning’s excursion, as the thoughts of the Bridgehead’s hot chocolate and warm Stollen overwhelmed him.

That and their quite filling smoked sausage and lentil soup was just the right choice.

When we got home it was only Craig holding the fort. But he does it adequately I do say.

Miss Pancake

After I was all dry as could be I helped Craig and Zita in the bathroom.

It was the day for the buzzing bathtub.

It is a just a for your feet bathtub. So it is not so big. Just big enough for Craig’s feet. I was a big help.

And when he was squeaky clean I had my lunch. Ha.

Then Zita had to do some important errands. And get Craig’s mother’s extra ear fixed. My goodness me.

After I helped Craig with his two very big croissants I was a bit tired so I had my nap on the comfy sofa.

With Craig in the den. Good for me.

Then Zita took her car to Niamh’s store. So she could borrow it after work.

Before dinnertime Craig and Zita talked to Emmet. In far away Ireland.

And I saw him for the very first time ever right on Zita’s computer.

And he saw me too. My goodness me. That was very exciting.

And he told us that it snowed in his far away Cork City. But not so very much.

But it did not snow here. Goodness gracious me.

It was only Craig and Zita for me to mind at dinnertime.

Because tonight is Niamh’s hop all around dance class.

So we had our dinner early tonight. Me too.

So we could watch our detective program and go to bed early at the same time.

That was a very good idea.
