Day One Hundred and Seventy

Miss Pancake

I did not have such a very good morning.

It was not cold outside but it was not even a bit sunny. Just windy. Oh well.

I minded Niamh until it was time for her to go to her work.

Then I minded  Craig when he was his coffee.

But then I got into trouble. Very big trouble.

Because I found the treat bowl on top of the bookshelf. And knocked it over. And Craig saw me.

And he yelled at me. Two times..

So I ran right behind the sofa where he could not see me. And I stayed there for a while.

But when I came out we were still friends. That is good.

So I got up on my chair for a nice nap.

You can not get into so much trouble when you are asleep. Ha.

My friend Zita sent me a picture this morning.

Before everyone was awake.

She and Auntie Eileen went on a train that went all the way to Cork. Very early in the morning.

And that train went right beside a very old castle. My goodness.

Craig would like that train. Because castles are his favourite.

But we do not have castles where we live. Oh well. Too bad for us.

And My friend Zita even saw cows. And they were not even in their barn.

Because there is not any snow in Ireland. Not anywhere. My goodness

And when she got to Cork they visited Emmet right in there in Cork.

So they could have a lovely lunch with them.

And they went to a restaurant where polite dogs can go too. Ha.

That is a good restaurant.

And then they went to very big building.

Because some of Alice’s mother’s very beautiful own made pictures were there.

So everybody could see them too. Ha. That was a good idea.

But then everybody had to go back to their work.

And Zita had to find the going back train before it left without her and Auntie Eileen.

Craig told me he would not tell Zita about that treat bowl.

Or maybe she would not want to come back home to see me. Oh dear me.

It is hard being a dog.

Furrgus and Festis

Well when we got home after morning patrol and a rather lingering breakfast we found a very chastened Miss P.

Neither she nor Craig wished to talk about it.

So we did not press the issue. My goodness.

But we did not notice any obvious damage to anything so it was mostly a much of a muchness we assume.

So best let sleeping dogs lay. As they say.

Then  it was over to the office desk, to do our monthly paperwork.

Tedious though it may be the bankers get worrisome if we ignore it.

Now from the flurry of this morning’s correspondence it is clear that Mrs. T has been very busy over there.

That lunch in a dog welcoming cafĂ©, with our Emmet reminded us not to miss tonight’s two for one hamburgers at Irene’s.

And it appears as if spring has proverbial sprung over there.

At least in the Kavanagh’s garden.

And Mrs. T’s father obviously has them traipsing around again.

Visiting his walking companions.

Fortunately it appears as if her nieces Ciara and Lucy have a far more civilized approach to visiting relatives.

We noticed the requisite whipped cream toppings. Well done ladies.

Miss Pancake

When I woke up Craig and I were still best friends.

That was good.

Niamh came home early today so we could go for a together walk all over.

We went to get Tarryn and then we went to my favourite farm.

To practice nice walking.

Miss Emily was there too.

Niamh did not go to her hoping around dance class tonight.

Because she has too much lots and lots of more homework to do. Oh goodness.

So she and Emily and Tarryn went out to do their university homework.

Craig did not tell Niamh about this morning. That was good.

After lunchtime Craig said maybe we will have something especially delicious for dinner tonight.

And he was right.

Because we had some soup and rolls with eggs from way far away China.

And a man brought it right to our house. Ha.

I am glad we are still friends.

Because you can only have lovely together dinners with you friends. It is known.
