Miss Pancake
And a not so very fast ambulance took her to a hospital right in downtown Dublin. Oh my goodness me.
Then Auntie Eileen went to the hospital to be her helper. That is good.
We told Niamh before she went to her all day at her university. She was worried too. Oh dear.
So then when Craig was getting up I was minding him right on the big bed.
But some of my very sharp teeth got caught on his arm.
And then there were some holes in his arm. And there was blood too. Oh my goodness me.
And it was my fault. Oh my goodness gracious me. That was not so very good for me.
But I did not get in trouble. Because Craig said that it was an accident.
He put on his comfy shirt and then nobody could see the holes. That was a good idea..
And after he was all up and awake I minded him again.
So he would not be too worried.
It is very hard to be way far away if your family is not alright.
My mother is way way far away too.
But I could not talk to her on the computer if she fell down and had to go to a very far away hospital. Oh goodness me.
But I think she is very alright. That is good.
Maybe someone reads her all my stories.
Then she will know that I am alright too. And very happy, even very far away.
Because I have my family too take care of. That is a very very important job for me.
I like to have important jobs. It makes me waggly tail happy. Ha.
The truck for the helper dogs was on our street again today.
So they could practice crossing the street.
Zita has a helper dog in her downtown office.
Her name is Miss Rockette. She is a lady’s best helper. Good for her.
I am Zita’s best helper too. That is my best job.
Bouvier dogs like minding their families.
Because we just know how to do it. As soon as we are brand new. Good for us.
At lunchtime I took Zita to Miss Bruna’s backyard where the giant snow mountain is.
And I ran up and down lots of times. Until I was a bit tired.
So I came back home so I could have my lunch.

My goodness. Shockingly unwelcome news from Ireland I must say.
As yet no one is quite sure of what the diagnosis is.
Which in and of itself causes too much stress.
But fortuitously Auntie Eileen is familiar with the medical process over there and so is Mister Collin.
That will be a great help I suspect.
Cousin Morag as offered to cut short her visit to Dunedin and fly herself over, if that could be of any help.
Though I have often found that her help, well intentioned as it may be, usually complicates already complicated situations.
But I will leave all of that in Festis and Furrgus’s hands.
We thawed a brace of cream buns for our in home breakfast.
Just in case our presence was needed here.
I am sure our Emmet will ask Doctor Alice all about it. Which will be a good idea.
Miss Pancake
When I got back I got right into the bathtub until I my feet were squeaky clean.
And the my friend Niamh came home. To be a big help too.
And have some lunch here with me.
But right after Zita talked to her father she and I went in the car to a for beautiful dogs store.
And it was not even far away.
We went to have my toenails made beautiful. Just like my friend Niamh’s. Ha.
And when we got home it was past my lunchtime. But I did not starve today.
Then I helped my friend Niamh eat her cheesie croissant.
I got up on the chair right behind her.
And she did not even see me. Ha. Too bad for her.
So I won the chair game. Ha.
But then she found me and she took me off the very comfy chair.
But I got some cheese bits anyway. Ha.
Then Niamh had to go downstairs to her on the computer class.
And Zita had to go downtown to fix her downtown computer. Oh dear.
But I stayed here to mind my friend Craig.
But we had to be quiet because of Niamh’s university class.
So I had my afternoon nap.
I am very quiet when I am fast asleep.
But then I had to get off that chair too. And it is the best comfy chair we have.
Then I had to have my nap on the floor.
Too bad for me.
Festis and Furrgus
Well we finally got some new from Ireland.
Mrs. Kavanagh will be getting a new hip within a day or so.
Upsetting as this may be it does give all of us a place to start getting things rolling. .
And just having experienced Mr. Kavanagh acquiring his new hip, only weeks ago they have some insight into the situation.
Though I expect it is the sort of experience one could well do without.
When the situation somewhat clarifies Mrs. T’s presence most certainly will be needed.
But we shall see and we will most certainly accommodate all eventualities.
We have been doing that for eons don’t you know. It is in the blood.
Miss Pancake
Oh dear me.
I heard Zita talk to her sister. And her mother is going to get a brand new hip.
And it will be made of shiny steel. Oh my goodness.and they are going to put it right inside her own leg.
Before I got here all of Craig’s legs got broken and now he has inside his leg shiny steel too.
Before dinnertime I went on an adventure with Niamh.
We went to get Tarryn but when we got there she remembered that she had to go to her parents house. And she was late.
So we drove her there and then came back home.
And I had to remind Craig that it was my dinnertime. Too much forgetting. Oh dear.
But Niamh was going out later so she had breakfast cereal. For her dinner. My goodness me.
So we finished our dinner early and watched more of that ghost detective.
Then everyone was tired because it was a worry full day.
And those kind of days makes everybody tired. It is known.
