We did not go to the farm this morning.
Because it is go to work Thursday for Zita.
So we went a practice walk around my block.
And when I am a very good rememberer I get lots of delicious treats. Ha.
And when we got home my friend Niamh was there and all awake.
So I helped her with her breakfast.
And because today is a work downtown Thursday, Niamh and I drove Zita to her other office.
It is not so nice as our own office.
Because Craig is not there to make her fluffy coffee. Too bad for her.
When Niamh and I were home I played the new game with the towel full of treats. Ha.
That is a very good game.
Then Emmet came upstairs to make some Irish tea.
Because making the very interesting story just perfect takes lots and lots of Irish tea.
Because the story is all about long long long time ago in Ireland.
And chopping off people’s heads. My goodness me.
But you cannot drink any tea if you do not have a head. It is known.
And then it was time for Niamh to drive to her lovely shop.
Yesterday a man tried to steal things from her shop. But he ran away. My goodness me.
They should have a fierce big shop minder dog. It is known.
When Craig had his another coffee he had popcorns for his breakfast. That is a silly breakfast.
But I licked the bowl very very clean. Ha.
Then it was comfy chair time for me.
So I could watch everything. Or have a very nice nap.
Festis and Furrgus
My goodness.
We were listening to the radio this morning and heard, that because of the forest fires, the entire population of Yellowknife had to abandon the city.
Now my brother is the only one of us who has been there, doing wilderness training with the indigenous Canadian Rangers.
But Dugal immediately wired Blackthorn-Bager Trust to arrange to donate an appropriate amount to help with the evacuation.
With this weighing heavily on our minds we went to Little Victories, for our morning cappuccinos, and to retrieve our weekly order of doughnuts.
Fortunately there was a huge variety today. So we got two of each kind.
Not counting our breakfast ones.
A cream filled doughnut or two helped revive our spirits.
Upon returning home we found only Craig and Emmet and Miss Pancake.
Everyone else was gainfully employed.
Miss Pancake
Craig and I had a breakfast toasts for our lunch. With lots of jam.
Because we had popcorns for breakfast. That was silly.
Emmet went to the Dragons game at Mister Mike’s house this afternoon.
They always play on Thursdays when Emmet is here.
When I woke up Craig and I played Tug. With my new rope. And I won. Ha.
He is not so fast as I am.
Zita’s not so very fast bicycle brought her home so she could have a tasty dinner with us.
I saw her from my own windows.
I always get very excited when Zita comes home.
Because sometimes she does not come home.
Because she goes on an aeroplane to Ireland instead. Too bad for me.
But there was only Craig and Zita for dinner again tonight.
So that was an easy job for me.
After dinner we went for a nice walk. But not a long walk.
Because maybe there would be thunderstorms.
When we got home we had lots of time to watch our detective program.
Then my friend Emmet needed a ride home from the Dragons game.
So Zita and I got in the car right away and got Emmet.
I guarded everybody. Because it was nighttime.
People do not see so very well at night, but I do. Ha.
