Day Three Hundred and Ten

Miss Pancake

Last night I minded Niamh when she went to talk to her friend.

Because it was late at night and I am very fierce.

When we got home I jumped right up on Craig and Zita’s bed so they would know I got Niamh home all safe as could be. Ha.

This morning I chased Niamh all around so she could have some exercise.

When she got back from her errands she drove Zita to her other office.

Then she went to her work.

I had to stay here to mind the boys.

Sometimes I forget that Emmet is here and run into the kitchen when I hear them come upstairs.

They have to come upstairs a lot to make tea.

When you are very busy writing you have to have lots of tea.

When Craig is writing he has to have croissants and two much coffee.

We had a very tasty toasty warm croissant with lots of jam for our breakfast today.

Our friend Mister Aidan likes croissants too. I saw a picture of his croissant.

It looked like a very tasty one.

Then I tried to have my morning nap.

But it was very busy outside and I had to get up and look out the window all the time.

So I just got in my watching chair instead of my comfy bed.

Sometimes I went to sleep anyway.

Furrgus and Festis

It was another cloudy morning, but it lacked the inconvenience of rain fortunately.

Mrs. T had to go to her downtown office today. And the young Miss drove her.

We waved as they passed us on our way to the Life of Pie to pick up the weekly replenishments.

And since we were already there decided to have our breakfast as we waited for the pies to exit the ovens.

Nothing like fresh pies to punctuate the day I say.

As it is the height of summer the choice is daunting, peach, apple, blueberry, apricot, and the rather scrumptious blackberry pies were all on offer.

We chose one of each, but three of the peach, being Dugal’s favourite excess.

We made it home without stopping for a small taste.

Which made us quite unbearably self satisfied.

We noticed that young Emmet was sporting a very becoming Little Victories sweatshirt.

We shall have to acquire a few they would be just the thing for everyone at Tiroam I think.

Miss Pancake

I did not even wake up when Emmet made lunch.

Emmet does not share as much as Craig.

Maybe he does not know the rule so well. Oh well.

After my first lunch I had a very quiet nap.

It was a full of clouds day day. So we did not have of another coffee outside today.

Maybe tomorrow will a full of sunshine day. That would be nice.

After my second lunch Emmet came upstairs to make tea and I did not even bark at all.

Because I remembered he was here.

When Zita came home we asked Mister Tony to send us some pizzas. And he did. My goodness.

Because Zita had another important meeting at dinnertime.

So we all had pizzas.

Then Emmet and Niamh talked for a long time and I minded them.
