It was our sleep in Sunday.
But Zita and I did not have time for a sleep in.
Because we had to go to the farm and practice our homework.
Because this afternoon is my school time. My goodness.
So I had to practice a lot.
When we got home I jumped right up on the bed to get Craig as awake was we were. Ha. That is a good job..
When we were at our farm we looked for the cows but Zita said maybe they were having a sleep in.
Emmet did not have a sleep in.
Because he is very busy finishing lots of things before Miss Doctor Alice comes to visit to our house.
When Craig had his coffees he had cookies too.
But they had chocolate inside those tasty cookies.
So he had to find little pieces with not a bit of chocolate in them.
So I would not get sick.
Zita finished making Emmet’s pants just right.
Then she went to get school treats. I get very special very delicious treats when I am at school.
So I stayed in the living room and guarded Craig.
And had my morning nap too. At the same time.
When Zita got home she made a fluffy coffee and then we waited for Niamh to run home so she could come with us in the fast car.
Festis and Furrgus
Well upon awakening this morning we were, let me repeat, astonished to find two Targes adorning the sofa.
And Miss Pancake too.
Our first, and perhaps overly paranoid, thought was that Mr. and Mrs. T had broken open the armoury to fend off an imminent attack.
Fortunately that was not the case.
Mrs. T has decided to put up all the pictures that were removed when the painting was being done.
Apparently she has been reviewing the stash of pictures and prints lost in the bowls of the basement and rediscovered Craig’s Targes.
Well that will be a splendid and timely addition to our decor let me tell you.
If we mounted a few swords and Lochaber Axes it would remind all of us of home.
So let me tell you all of us were in high spirits when we entered Irene’s for brunch.
We even ordered some scotch to go with our espressos.
And when we arrived home Miss P was back from her school and was sharing a scone with Mr. T.
The house is infused with Scotland today.
So we went to our afternoon nap completely contented.
Miss Pancake
Miss Willow was at school today. I was glad to see her.
There are not so very many Bouviers everywhere.
Miss Willow has a new family. That is why she is at school with me.
Because she had never been to school. Oh dear. So she she never got any beautiful medals.
But now she will.
School was very hard today.
We learned so many new things my head hurt. Because it got all full up.
But Zita and Niamh said that I was very very good. So did my teachers.
We have two teachers at my school.
But when I got home I was very very tired.
But I was not too tired to help Craig eat two brand new scones from the farmers own store.
And after a little while Craig got me my own lunch.
Then I got on my watching chair and had a big relax.
Going to school makes you very tired. It is true.
Zita and Niamh went to a special store and got me my practice homework box.
So I can practice at home too.
Before dinnertime Zita went outside to make my watching window the sparkliest ever.
I stayed inside to guard her.
Then it was our dinnertime. But only for Craig and Zita and Emmet.
Because Niamh was having a dinner with her friends.
But I thought we were her friends. Oh my goodness.
We are having huge delicious steaks for dinner tonight.
So Emmet will not be so skinny.
I am a bit skinny too. That is why I get two dinners.
After dinner we watched our detective program.
Craig had strawberries and ice cream. I licked the spoon. Ha.
