Day Three Hundred and Thirty Two

Miss Pancake

We did not go to our farm this morning because it was a rainy morning.

And Zita did some rascal ladies work and it is our do not go to work day. Oh dear.

But after our breakfast Miss Sue came to have coffee with Zita and Niamh.

And to talk about painting some walls in her house.

And when she was gone Zita and I went for a just around here walk.

When we got home Zita and I drove Niamh to her lovely shop.

Because it started to be very rainy again.

Then we went on an adventure ride so we could visit the nice farmers and get some brand new strawberries.

I stayed in the car to mind it it, because it was too rainy everywhere.

Adventure rides are my favourite.

And when we got home Craig and I had some of those strawberries. My goodness me.

I had such a busy morning I did not even have a nice nap.

Last night Emmet gave his friends Mike and Morgan the secret wedding present.

And it was a beautiful axe.

It used to be a very very old axe, but Emmet fixed it all up.

And he found a new handle and made it fit. With a saw.

Then those nice people put the very very old Irish words on the dangerous part of the axe, and right in the handle too.

Just like those letters on Emmet’s arms.

I do not know what they say. Because I cannot read those Irish letters so very well.

My goodness that was a very good secret present. My goodness me.

Furrgus and Festis

Thank goodness we had retrieved our Macintoshes from the basement as this morning broke to a significant rain storm.

We completed our morning patrol without incident but returned home hoping for an improvement in the weather before venturing forth again.

By the time lunch was finished the weather had slightly improved, so not wanting to tempt fate, my brother and I found the collapsible trolly and crossed the bridge over the canal.

Our selection of pies was waiting for for us, all boxed and neatly labeled.

After stopping for some polite conversation and a few espressos we stacked the trolly and went home, before the weather had the opportunity to reverse itself.

We noticed that Mrs. T was baking when we got home. That always bodes well.

We placed the pies in the little freezer and started on the New York Times crossword puzzle.

Which always readies me for a nap.

Tomorrow is the day that the Suzy Q doughnuts are delivered to Little Victories.

So it is an early day for us as you may imagine.

Miss Pancake

After lunchtime I was very busy helping Zita in the kitchen.

Because we were making a very tasty lemon cake for tonight’s together dinner.

But she had to use a noisy machine.

Emmet and Alice were very busy today.

They were studying for their exams when they are back in Ireland.

And Niamh’s friend Mister Noah brought her a very old coat. That was nice.

And yesterday Mister Tom left some old cameras for Niamh.

So she can take the old kind of pictures. That was very nice of him.

It is good to have nice friends. It is known.

This afternoon Emmet and Alice went and visited Niamh at her lovely shop.

So Alice could get some buy some very beautiful things.

Because they only have very beautiful things at Niamh’s shop.

Zita and I went for a very long nice before dinner walk today.

And we practiced different kinds of walking.

Sometimes fast walking, sometimes slow walking and even backwards walking.

And we talked to Professor Jill too.

And when we got home it was time for my other lunch.

Zita went in the fast car to the other delicious grocery store.

But I could not go.

Because I was so busy with my other lunchtime.

So I stayed here and minded Craig.

But when she got home she asked me to go in the fast car to get my friend Niamh and bring her home. So I did.

The fast car is my favourite.

We brought Tarryn home with us.

Because we had Zita’s exceptionally delicious hamburgers for dinner.

And I think that hamburgers are Tarryn’s favourite. Ha.

So we had everybody for our together dinner tonight. My goodness me. Thank was exciting for me.
