Zita and I had a little bit of a sleep in before our breakfast.
Then we went to run all around in our farm.
But you have to be very careful because now there are lots of very big machines for the farmers.
And sometimes they are parked where I always run. Oh well.
But when we got home I got in trouble for too much jumping. Oh dear.
When Niamh was all awake her friend Miss Deena came to visit us.
And she had coffee and waffles with us.
Miss Deena came from very not too far away Toronto to live here.
She has been inside a pyramid. And she was not even a bit dead. That is good.
Then Zita drove Niamh and Miss Deena to the lovely shop.
Because Miss Deena works there too.
When Zita came home Craig went in the den to talk to his old friends, and Zita brought him some toasts.
So I stayed there to help him. With the toasts.
Then Zita had to get the noisy floor cleaner machine. To clean the floors again.
They get a bit too dirty because sometimes I have dirty feet. Oh dear.
I went to the den so I could guard Craig from that noisy machine.
Then Zita went outside to our side yard with the blow everything far away machine.
So my feet would keep nice and clean. That was a good idea.
But I had to stay inside because it is a dangerous machine. So I minded Craig.
When the whole side yard was very clean I went out to help Zita make everything neat and tidy.
So I put all my bouncy balls in my outside bathtub. Ha.
But that bathtub is a bit tippy. So you have to be careful.
Furrgus and Festis
When we opened the blinds no brilliant sunshine beckoned us. The clouds had won the day I am afraid to say.
But aside from that, there was no rain and there was a pleasant breeze blowing as we walked to Irene’s for our breakfast.
Emmet and Doctor Alice made it to the wedding without incident, which all things considered, is a good thing.
We made it home last night without disturbing the household, even Miss Dog.
Our SAS sargent major would have been so very proud of us.
We had had been at the Central Pub until closing, as last night was live music night.
Nothing like real music to get the blood flowing I must say. Well that and a snifter of brandy.
This morning, over several bowls of chilli and onion rings, we read up on Heat Pumps as a possible solution for the livability situation at the castle.
We will send a telegram to Lochlainn and suggest he might look into the availability of local installers.
Now that should keep everyone busy for several weeks.
I suspect we may have to subsidize the creation of local expertise. Noblesse Oblige and all that.
Great Grandfather built the fist hydroelectric dam in all of the Western Highlands.
Made a fortune selling it to the Sasanachs years later. Naturally.
Miss Pancake
I was very tired after helping Zita in the side yard so I went in the den and minded Craig.
Zita went up to our busy street to do some important errands.
I stayed here.
Today is the special day just for dogs all over everywhere.
I think maybe I will get some extra treats today.
Maybe they will forget about that too much jumping. Oh dear me.
This afternoon when Zita was busy Craig and I had a nice relax.
But when she came back we had time to go back to my very favourite farm.
But when she came back we had time to go back to my very favourite farm.
Maybe because it is the for dogs day. Maybe. Ha.
So the fast car was very happy to go there too.
Then we went and brought Niamh home so she could have dinner with us.
And we had the especially delicious chicken. My goodness.
And I had my dinner too.
