We did not watch the detective program last night, because everybody sat at the dining room table and talked until past my bedtime.
I minded everything from underneath that table.
Then I went to bed.
Because it was the Monday back to work day Zita and I went back to work. Oh well,
But when Niamh got up I helped her with her outside breakfast and then Craig was all awake too.
But Miss Alice was having a sleep in this morning.
And Emmet was busy with his important story for their far away in Cork university.
When Craig had his another coffee he made toasts.
And I heard him open the bread drawer so I went to help him.
We had from France bread and we put from France jam on top. Ha. That was a tasty treat.
After Emmet and Miss Alice had their breakfast they went for a walk up to the busy street.
Because it was another very lovely day today.
Then Niamh went to visit a beautiful plant store.
I did not go this time because I minded Zita.
Because Mondays are very busy days for us.
Festis and Furrgus
We rather unwillingly set out on morning patrol this morning.
It appears that perhaps we over did the whole picnic extravaganza yesterday.
Or maybe it was the Scotch. None of us could quite remember.
Be that as it may, we went over to check on Miss Poppy’s ducks for her.
They certainly seemed fine, but not being experts we took their word for it.
Then we walked up to the Bridgehead for a banana muffin or two.
We felt a light breakfast would be appropriate considering yesterday’s gourmand situation.
We followed this with a brisk walk to Dow’s lake and then back home.
Upon arrival our Niamh was driving her brother and Doctor Alice downtown to do some shopping for friends in Ireland.
Thus there was only the usual suspects at home, Mr. and Mrs. T and young Pancake.
So we sat back with our copies of The Sunday Times and spent the rest of the afternoon being appalled by Westminster.
Which, all in all, is a fruitful way to spend a Sunday summer afternoon, in my opinion anyway.
Miss Pancake
Zita and I practiced our homework at lunchtime. I was a very good rememberer.
After lunchtime Niamh and the fast car took Emmet and Miss Alice downtown to do some shopping.
When everyone was gone I had my lunch and then I helped Craig with his sandwich.
It was not such a big sandwich today.
Because the bread from France was not so very big. Oh well.
Then I went outside to find more rocks for my collection.
Sometimes I bring the rocks into the house Zita puts them with all my other rocks.
Now I have my very own collection. Ha.
Maybe Niamh can sell them at her lovely shop. Maybe.
Then we would be rich. And we could go to Miss Sue’s store and get new toys. Ha.
I stayed with Craig when Zita was talking to everybody on her computer.
And I had a relax.
When everybody got home it was nearly time for our dinner.
But Zita had another too long at dinnertime meeting.
So Mister Tony’s friend brought us three delicious pizzas.
Then Niamh had to go out to play with her friends.
