Today is our do not go to work Wednesday and today it is Thursday. That is silly.
I was very busy last night.
Because we had a dinner party. And nobody told me. So I was nearly not ready.
And all the Mahoneys were here. Even Mister Kirian and Mister Aidan too.
And they brought lots of food.
Because it was an almost surprise party.,
And everybody sat at the dining room table and just laughed all the time.
And I minded everybody right from underneath the table. By myself.
So I was very busy.
And because the very big Mahoney boys were here, when dinner was over they took the sometimes a bed sofa back downstairs.
And brought my own very comfy sofa back into the den. Ha.
Niamh and Tara and Tarryn helped to make sure they did it right.
That was a very good idea.
I went for a very long practice walk before lunchtime today.
And we met Niamh’s friend and his very nice dog Mister Hobbs.
So they had a long chat and Mister Hobbs and I waited and were very polite. Ha.
When we got home I had my lunch right away today.
Because I had a very early breakfast.
Festis and Furrgus
Unfortunately we had to miss last night rather spontaneous dinner party as it was live music night at Irene’s.
Fortunately we left it in Miss P’s increasingly capable hands so when we returned all was quiet and well.
As today is Mr. And Mrs. T’s wedding anniversary we thought that the dinner might have been a celebratory one.
But apparently it was a patented Tara last minute put-together.
This morning Dugal was rather beside himself, as he had just received word that his second cousin, trice removed had been promoted.
He is now the Colonel of the famed Badger Brigades - The Borsukova Bryhada, in the local parlance, of the gallant Ukrainian forces.
And he sent Dugal one of their arm patches, in acknowledgment of Dugal’s very generous support.
Mrs. T produced a vase of those famous sunflowers to celebrate the event.
Which was very kind of her I must say.
As there were tornado warnings for our area we had only a few croissants and a very quick omelet before returning home.

We made it home in safety thank goodness.
Miss Pancake
Today a lady came to my house and brought beautiful as can be flowers.
Because today is Craig and Zita’s getting married anniversary.
And Craig got Zita those beautiful flowers. My goodness.
And we put them in a beautiful vase with lots of water.
That is what you do with not in the garden beautiful flowers.
Then we had a giant rain storm. With the rain bouncing right up into the air. My goodness.
I wanted to go outside to watch everything but Zita said she needed my help in our office. Too bad for me.
When the rain was all gone Zita went and visited Craig’s mother in her little apartment.
And Craig put everything back where it should be in the den. Ha. I helped him too.
Before dinnertime Zita and I went on a long practice nice walking walk. All over my street.
But then she had to go to feed that cat. Oh well.
Tonight, because this is a special remembering night, so Craig and Zita had their very favourite from far far away India food.
But we only had to go up to the busy street to find it. We did not have to go to India.
Because then all the food would be just all cold when we got home.
But when we get it from up the street it is still very hot. And they have squishy bread too. Ha.
Niamh went to outside concert tonight. And it is her most favourite band. She went with her friends.
I think they must live right where Emmet and Miss Alice live. Ha. That is nice.
Maybe their songs are about Emmet’s very important stories. Maybe.
But Niamh was at their concert and could not have any of the tasty from India food. Too bad for her.
After the especially delicious dinner we went into the den to watch the detective program.
But tonight we had the very comfortable sofa back. Ha.
