Day Two Hundred and Eighty

Miss Pancake

It was back to work Monday today.

But Zita and I went for a very lovely walk in the giant farm.

But still there were not even one cow in the fields. Too bad for us.

And when we got home we remembered it was back to work Monday.

So everybody went to work except Craig.

But I went into the bedroom and jumped right on top of him, until he was wide awake too. Ha.

Niamh and my friend Sach went out to lunch before everybody went to the loud concert

Niamh did not get home so late last night so we could not play the catch me game.

So I just went back to fast asleep.

And she was up early this morning because it is her other job day at the stretching store.

I tried to play the catch me game this morning, but she caught me when I was not looking.

That is not so fair.

After Niamh left I minded Zita in our office until Craig had his coffees.

Then he had some brand new cookies. And they were his very favourite oatmeal cookies.

So I helped him. And I licked up all the crumbs too.

Then I helped Zita when she had to use the other computer.

Then I had my morning nap. In my comfy chair.

It was a very nice morning for me.

Festis and Furrgus

Our Niamh tried to be very quiet last night when she came home from the concert.

But she was not quiet enough that Miss P did not hear the side door open and was off like a shot.

And a very loud shot it was let me tell you.

Well after the dust had settled everyone went back to a well deserved sleep.

This morning was quite cloudy so it was not as hot as last week.

So after we secured the property my brother and I set off to Victories.

A few quick cappuccinos and some accompanying croissants and we were on our way.

Having some time on our hands we decided to visit Dow’s Lake and watch the tourists try to control their rented canoes.

Fortunately no one had yet drowned. Though not through want of trying, in or opinion anyway.

We were still discussing Morag’s situation when we arrived home and had to admit to Uncle that even the too many cappuccinos had not stimulated any serious insights.

So with that in our minds we opted for a morning nap.

Along with Miss P.

I was a bit sleepy this morning and Craig had to wake me up for my first lunchtime.

And Zita painted the bathroom again when I had my lunch. But I could not help her.

Because I am not tall enough to reach the top of the ceiling.

Even when I jumped as high as I could. Too bad for me.

When Niamh came home she had to have a shower right away.

Because she was just too smelly. My goodness me.

I was very busy helping Zita all afternoon.

Emmet sent us a picture of their apartment.

And Miss Alice has a made of beans chair. My goodness me.

We have our own very delicious beans.

From our very own side garden, if that bunny rabbit does not eat them all.

One time we had to put up a fence to keep the bunnies away.

But I cannot always fierce bark them away.

Because I cannot see our garden.

Unless I am standing on the sofa so I can look out the window in the den. Oh well.

Furrgus and Festis

We did not wake up until nearly two this afternoon. Trying

to resolve Morag’s dilemma is very tiring it seems.

Putting that all aside we went over to the Life of Pie to retrieve our weekly order of assorted pies.

We stopped on the way home to have a relax on the Craft Beer patio and have a refreshing cold cider.

When we got home it was almost dinner time. We had apparently frittered the afternoon away.

Frittering away is a lost and very undervalued skill let me assure you.

We stashed the pies in the basement freezer and all of us curled up with a book, or in Dugal’s case a parchment scroll.

When Niamh came back from her important meetings I was on a nice walk with Zita.

So when we came back home it was time for everybody’s dinner.

And Craig and Zita and Niamh had tortellinis. With lots of Zita own made sauce on top.

Then Niamh had to go and help Miss Emily with her clothes.

Tomorrow Niamh is going to go to the Mahoney’s cottage. Even if it is raining. My goodness.

And she is going to sleep there.

Because she has her own, just for Niamh, bedroom at the cottage. My goodness.

After she left Craig and Zita and I watched some detectives from Australia.

Maybe they will have kangaroos tonight. Maybe.

And I ran all over everywhere. Just because. Ha.

Then we went to our comfy beds.

Because it was our bedtime.
