Zita and I got up very early this morning so I could look all around.
But then we went back to sleep.
When we got up again it was time for our together breakfast. I got my cappuccino spoon too.
Niamh got up too.
Because today they went to Craig’s mother’s little apartment.
And they took presents with them.
Because today is her birthday. She is very very old.
She does not know me.
So I did not go with Zita and Niamh. I stayed here to mind Craig.
She does not remember things so very well. Even people like Zita and Niamh. Oh dear.
Maybe she should have homework.
My school for polite dogs gave me homework so I could practice and remember everything. Oh well.
They brought her some tasty treats too.
Because everybody gets treats on their birthday.
Today is my nearly a birthday, because today I am nine months old. Ha. Good for me.
Last night my friend Sach came to visit me. And I had not seen her for a long time.
So I was very excited, but I ran all over everywhere with one of her shoes. So I got in trouble.
Because you have to be a Take It Easy Dog when you have stitches. Too bad for me.
Festis and Furrgus
We opened the front door to a quite magnificent morning.
So not wanting to lose a moment of it, we set out for a very early morning patrol.
We were waiting in the doorway when Little Victories opened.
As it is definitely summer we ordered a few of their summer specialties, the affogatos.
And a brace of doughnuts to complete our first breakfast.
As we had nothing special planned, we decided have an extended wander.
When we reached Landsdowne we saw the signs for a massive flea market, and immediately checked ourselves for cash.
You would be surprised how few vendors accept gold sovereigns nowadays.
So we are reduced to relying on local currency. Such are the foibles of progress.
But the place was chockablock with people.
So we restricted ourselves to the food vendors areas.
Which all things considered was the perfect decision, as we discovered a fine gentleman making his very own condiments.
Which, it being barbecue season, are indispensable.
Well if you have the semblance of taste buds they are indispensable.
Thus loaded down we returned home, a successful morning under our belts.
Miss Pancake
When Zita got home Craig’s friends were still in our park so Craig went to see them and Zita and I went too.
Craig had his red go fast gloves on. They are from Ireland.
When we got to the park I said hello to everybody and I was very polite.
Because I remembered my homework.
And I found a very tasty stick too.
But then Zita and I went to do some more practice walking.
But Craig stayed there to do some more talking with his friends.
But when he came home I was already there and it was my lunchtime.
After he found my lunch Zita found the noisy clean the floor machine.
So Craig and I went in the den to have a lunch croissant.
And be far away from that noisy machine. Good for us.
When the noisy machine went away I was a bit tired because I was late for my afternoon nap.
When Zita came home from doing her important errands we went of a nice walk in the beautiful as could be sunshine.
Then I helped her in the kitchen.
Because Mister Paul came to our house for dinner tonight.
It was not a surprise because we invited him.
We had very fat and delicious hamburgers. And we cooked them on our outside stove.
Because it was a beautiful day.
After Mister Paul and his his bicycle went to his house we watched our detective program.
On the comfy sofa.
Even at night I sleep on comfy sofa. Sometimes all night. Ha
