Day Two Hundred and Seventy Eight

Miss Pancake

We went to the farm this morning.

But not right away.

So it was a bit hot when we got there.

So Zita and I were a little bit hot when we went home.

Then we drove Niamh to her lovely shop. And then we went to Miss Sue’s shop for polite dogs.

Because we did not have any of my special nice walking treats.

And that is the store with the very best treats.

And because I was so polite Miss Sue even gave me lots of treats. Ha.

When we got home Craig was talking to his old friends on his computer.

Except for Mister Tom.

Because he had to help Mister Kirk bring his friend Max home from the just for dogs hotel.

Zita and I went into our side yard for a relax. But we were under our very big keep the sun away umbrella.

So we did not melt. And Craig came out to keep us company.

Then we went inside because it was time for my first lunch.

Last night I had a little adventure.

When we took Niamh to find Tara it took us a long time.

Because all the streets were all filled up with people. My goodness.

But I had a very good time watching everybody.

I did not stick my head out the windows. Because it was too hot to have the window all open.

So I was not even a bit hot when we got home.

Furrgus and Festis

As it turned into a quite beautiful evening we all decided to go for a walk along Bank Street.

And lo and behold we end up in front of The Saint Rita.

I ordered the Mushroom and ham Alfredo Fettuccine. A favourite of mine I must say.

For dessert we all had the Raspberry Sorbet.

When we got home there was only Craig and Miss P at home. The rest were out galavanting.

We, being sensible went to bed.

Miss Pancake

I had a very busy afternoon.

Because Zita is painting our bathroom.

And first she had to put stuff in a little crack.

And the rub it all over with special hard paper.

And then she had to wash all the walls. With smelly stuff.

But I could not be her best helper today.

Sometimes dogs cannot be painting helpers.

Because some of us are a bit furry. Like me. Oh dear.

So I had to mind her from the hall.

Because the bathroom door was closed.

We got pictures from very far away Ireland.

Because cousin Simon and Mrs. Laura had a baby and they had to show the little baby a church.

They have lots of churches in Ireland. Some are so old they do not even have roofs.

Like those parts of Festis and Furrgus’s castle.  Oh dear.

Everybody must get very soggy there.

Then they had a party with lots of treats.

And Zita’s mother and father were there.

And auntie Eileen even more cousins too. My goodness.

Last night Niamh and Tara and Aidan went to that very loud outside concert with lots and lots of way too many people.

And I heard her when she got home so I went to mind her.

Because it was very late.

But when we got outside there were lots and lots of hoppy toads in my own yard.

And I did not invite them to visit us.

But Niamh said it would not be very polite to squish them.

And then she reminded me that I was always a very polite dog. That was true.

So I had to leave them and go back to bed. Oh well.

When Zita had to get and get some painting things I minded Craig.

On the very comfy other sofa.

After we had our dinner Zita and I went for our after dinner walk.

And Craig came with us too.  And we went past the pond park. All of us.

And Craig knew all about the nice walking special tasty treats

And he gave me some. Ha.

That was a good walk.

When we got home we watched the very funny detectives program.
