Day Two Hundred and Seventy Five

Miss Poppy 

Last night when we were watching our detective program Niamh came in and asked me if I wanted to go for a car ride.

Car rides are my favourite.

So I had an adventure car ride. Ha.

We took Tarryn to her house and then we found Lily just walking on the sidewalk.

So we took her home too. 

And when I got home Craig and Zita were nearly fast asleep. 

So after I had a big drink I went to bed too. 

This morning Zita and I went to our farm. As soon as we got awake. 

We could not wait because of the too hot. 

But I ran very fast everywhere. 

There were other dogs there, but the cows were still in their comfy barns. Oh well.

But I looked for them anyway. 

Then Zita had to go downtown to her other office. 

For another important meeting. 

Even on our no work on Wednesdays day. My goodness.

So Niamh and I drove her.

Right to her other office.

Because it was way to hot to walk to downtown today. 

When we came home Niamh put on her especially for hot weather clothes, before she drove to the lovely shop.

They have lots and lots of hats there. 

So you will not be as red as an apple from the too much sunshine.

And after Craig and I had our toasts I had my morning nap right on top of where the cold air comes from. 

That was a good idea. 

Because it is a too hot day today. 

Furrgus and Festis

 Due to the weather we left early this morning and headed to the Little Victories outside location.

Where we found a table in a quite shady spot. 

And after a breakfast of chocolate croissants, we filled our two thermoses with ice coffee. 

Having some experience with the heat, we left our bonnets at home, and donned our rather stylish yet practical regimental pith helmets. 

Which generated many admiring comments let me tell you. 

So thus protected we made it home with nary a case of heat stroke. 

The iced coffee helped.

Miss Pancake 

When I woke up it was just the perfect time for my first lunchtime. 

I did not have it outside today.

Because it was too hot, even under our keep cool umbrella, to even have a little nap.

So I stayed inside with Craig. 

We got more pictures from Mister Kirk. 

And one was of a dog. And it was guarding giant statues from a long long long time ago.

They have to guard them because when nobody guarded them they got a bit broken. That is not so good. 

After my second lunchtime I had another cold air nap.

My comfy chair was a bit too hot. 

My friends Zita and Niamh did not get home right away this afternoon.

Because Niamh went downtown and found Zita and brought her home to my house.

Because it was still too hot to walk all the way home. 

Or maybe she would melt. Like my ice cubes. Maybe.

When everybody was home Niamh got my swimming pool out. 

Because of the too hot. I got in even before the water.

Then Zita and Niamh cooked a delicious dinner outside. 

On the outside stove. 

Then when everybody was eating I had my own outside bath. 

When we were finished and I was all dry again we went and watched the new detective program.
