It was very nice outside so Zita and I went outside so she could have her coffee in the sunshine.
But we did not stay out for a long time this morning.
Because of the nasty mosquitoes.
So we came inside and just like that Niamh was upstairs too. And awake too. Ha.
So Zita and Niamh and I went on an adventure ride in the car. Ha.
Going for rides in our car is my very favourite job. It is known.
We had to go to a little store to get the right shoes for Niamh.
Because the once’s we got yesterday were not both the same size.
And Niamh’s feet are both the same size. My goodness me.
So we got the right ones. Good for us.
And when we got back home Niamh went to a stretch yourself until you are sore class.
I do not know why.
But Craig was all dressed and awake so we had our next coffees outside in the side yard.
And the nasty bugs were all gone. Ha.
When Niamh came home she had to have a shower so she would be all smelly like those cows at our lovely farm.
Then Zita and Niamh went shopping for especially delicious food for our all together barbecue.
Because Niamh and Cara are both getting those important pieces of paper.
My friend Lee will get one too, but has to go to way far away and dig holes to find beautiful things.
In Greece and Rome. Then will get an important paper too. Ha. Good for Lee.
Lee wanted to take me to be the best digger helper ever.
But I did not want to go on any more aeroplanes. Oh well.
So we are going to have a special very delicious barbecue in Mrs. Bruna’s backyard. With all their friends too.
When they were gone I minded Craig and had my afternoon nap.
At the same time.
Festis and Furrgus
It was another rather lovely day. It was rather overcast, which kept the temperature reasonable, at least in our opinion.
We took our time assembling ourselves this morning.
We were up until all hours watching The Light Horsemen. Such a fine bit of cinema I do say.
But as a result it did take us a while to elevate this morning.
When we finally made it up to Bank Street the traffic was as concrete.
Festis, being in fine fettle strode across the bonnets of a car blocking the the crosswalk, brandishing his walking stick with some vigour.
The art show in the far park has inundated the neighbourhood with people vainly looking for a parking place.
So all the streets are completely impassable.
After confronting the traffic we arrived at the Glebe Central Pub for our well deserved brunch.
Uncle Dugal and I ordered the stacked hamburgers.
Festis, fresh from vanquishing the traffic ordered waffle fried nachos with beef and bacon.
To each their own. I am sure our supplies include stomach powders.
We sat in the window spot watching the cars take on a semblance on their own static art display.
We saw Niamh trying to cross Second Avenue.
Festis stood in the intersection, leaning menacingly on his walking stick, stopping the traffic until she managed to cross.
We still arrived home well before her.
Well in a not quite surprising turn of events, that past leader of the Scots Nationalist Party is headed for the clink.
This will only add fuel to Morag’s desire to form a new party to extract the Highlands from the southern morass.
I suspect we will have to actually pay attention to this before it gets entirely out of hand. Oh dear.
Miss Pancake
I had a very nice quiet afternoon.
Because it is very easy to mind Craig.
He just reads and listen to not so loud music.
Sometimes Niamh listens to very loud music. Even in the bathroom. I do not know why.
When Zita and Niamh got home the kitchen was full up with bags of food.
I found a little potato and it took them a long time to catch me. Ha.
We had a late dinner because Zita and Niamh went to see people talking.
With real people. Not on a television. My goodness me.
When they got back Zita it was a bread and fishes night.
But we only had bread and Italian ham and lots of cheese and not one fish. I do not know why.
Then I took Zita for a very lovely walk.
Because I was so rambunctious Zita said I needed to have some exercises.
So we did not watch our nice detective program tonight.
We just went to bed. That was a good idea.
